.I really appreciated Jeff's hard work. I liked his statement that he learnt from this experience (had to do with the shape of our toilettank) and that he would apply this knowledge on his next job. I love it when someone does not pretend to know it all. He is a young guy and will learn and gain experience with every job he does. Nothing wrong with making mistakes as long as you fix them. That is what happened here, and both Jeff and Pipeline Plumbing did the right thing. We certainly will use them in the future. They stand behind their work and make it right. We appreciate that. The only issue is we feel the price is quite high for the first hour. If you have a job that only takes an hour or less - you still pay $145. It could be that others charge the same, but I would still think that is on the high side.

The inspection went well. I scheduled an appointment for early morning, and the inspector showed up on time. He thoroughly inspected the water heater and did a flush. This is the original gas water heater (40 gallon) that was installed when the house was built 15 years ago. Although the water heater is still in excellent condition, he recommended that I consider replacing it in a couple of years since it is close to the typical life span. We also discussed some options that I should consider when I decide to buy a replacement. I was pleased with the service.

Dealing with Adam from Pipeline was a pleasure. We worked with them over a period of several months and were balancing multiple contractor schedules. Pipeline was always quick to respond, accommodating with their timing, knowledgeable about what they were doing, and professional at dealing with any issues. We were told upfront about any changes in scope or cost and I felt like we were given all the information we needed to make good decisions about changes (e.g. cast iron piping for vertical drops to minimize noise). We had a couple of issues through the course of the project - a shower drain trap that turned out to push below framing on the lower story and get in the way of drywall, a laundry drain that was a bit off-location, a cross-plumbing of hot and cold upstairs. Given the large scope of the project, these issues were relatively minor. What really impressed me is that as soon as these issues were uncovered, Pipeline was right out at the house as a priority making sure that it was fixed. One of our bathtubs was cracked during install, and Pipeline immediately removed it, repackaged, replaced and had the new one installed very quickly. In general I would say that their quality and workmanship is very good and their pricing was consistent with several other quotes we got for this job. What makes them stand out and assures that I will keep going back is their professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine concern for customer satisfaction. Thanks Adam!

At 3 a.m. I awoke to the sound of rushing water and racing downstairs discovered a flood of water gushing out from under the kitchen sink. After struggling to turn the valve knobs, I finally shut the water off and cleaned up the mess. I called Pipeline Plumbing at 8 a.m. and immediately spoke to Laurie, who was sympathetic and set an appointment for 10 a.m. the same morning. Nolan arrived early, at 9:30 and inspected all the pipes under the sink. The plastic pipe to the cold water supply was brittle and had split, so we agreed that the best thing to do was replace ALL the plastic pipes with flexible metal-mesh tubing, which would be much stronger (and give me peace of mind!) I also asked for turn valves that would be much easier to turn. The old valves were so stiff that I'd had to strike them with a hammer to get them to start turning--all the time with water was spraying in my face--and even then they turned with a lot of effort. Nolan replaced all of them with new easier quarter-turn valves. I asked Nolan what I could do if it was HOT water spraying out and he showed me the hot water shut-off valves in the garage. He also showed me how to shut off the Water Main to the house, in case I needed to do that in an emergency. (After he left I went to Home Depot and bought the right tool--a "Meter Key"--to keep on hand.) Nolan was very pleasant, incredibly thorough, and conscientious. Even after he finished the paperwork and I'd paid the bill, he went back under the sink just to double-check that the occasional drip was not due to any leaking from the new fittings. I was very impressed with his professionalism. Pipeline Plumbing is now "my" plumbing company and I'll be using them again!

They showed up on time. The tech was very nice, he explained everything he was doing. Offered suggestions without being pushy. He answered all my questions.

They were really good. They were very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything to me, which I appreciated.

Adam and his crew were always on time. Their bid was comparable to others we received, but we chose Adam over the competition because each of the others tried also selling us unnecessary additions to our project. The crew was very polite, kept us informed as to what was going on, performed their work efficiently, and did a good job. We know who to call upon now whenever we need a plumber.

i contacted pipeline via email, and got a response a couple of hours later. we set up an appointment for the next day. nolan arrived at the promised time. he was very friendly and professional. the insta-hot went quickly. the faucet job was more complicated -- required taking the whole thing apart and replacing numerous o-rings and seals. took a little longer than i had hoped, but that was not unexpected. everything works great now, no more leaky faucet and insta-hot. i would highly recommend pipeline, and will definitely use them again.

My entire house was backed up and I had a plumber from American Home Shield (already paid for by the seller of my house for the first year) who was able to clear everything except a blockage between one upstairs sink and double sinks in a downstairs bathroom. The AHS plumber tried all his snakes and then wanted to tear out the double sinks and possibly the tile floor to find the problem. I decided it was time for another plumber. I looked at Angie's List and selected Pipeline. They sent Ryan that same day. He had the same difficulties that the AHS man had but instead of trying to convince me to tear out the sinks and floor, he put a camera in the line, figured out why the snake wasn't going where it was supposed to and solved the problem by putting a bend in the end of the snake and then forcing it to go down. During all previous attempts, the snakes only went up which did not get to the blockage. Ryan was very pleasant and seemed determined to fix the problem without tearing anything out. It took him several hours but he did it and it was worth every penny. In fact, I expected the bill to be more.

Needed the repair done same day due to home on the market. They were able to work us into the schedule. The original faucet was installed incorrectly. Able to make a difficult repair and save us from having to install a new faucet. Very professional and curtious.

He was really good. He was fair and prompt and did a good job.

I got a discounted rate because I found a coupon. They did a good job and were able to rebuild my sink instead of having to replace the unit. My only complaint is that the caulking did not last long, which was partly due to a previous installation.

They were great. They responded very quickly and stayed with the problem until it was resolved. I kept their card and will use them again.

They charged me $1000 for their services. They were good. They showed up on time and did the job. They’ve done a few things for me because I have a few different properties. They’ve always accommodated my schedule and they did a good job. I will use their services again in the future.

Ryan was exactly on time (and I received a call at 1 pm confirming our appointment). I told him I hoped it could be repaired, as we weren't ready to replace it unless absolutely necessary. Within the hour, he had replaced the thermocoupler and it was working great. Ryan was professional and did great work. $145 for the first hour of labor, plus the part.

Any job that I have hired them to work on has gone smoothly.

excellent. The folks are great to work with. I was traveling a lot and they worked around my schedule. They were very pleasant and professional. Their quality was exceptional and they ended up doing more work than the bid because of some mistakes I made picking out the plumbing fixtures.

It went great. The guy came out, there were not any problems. They were informative as well.

Took 3 trips (original, second with wrong part, third finishing job). Charged for trip to Kohler store for part after waiting 3 weeks for wrong part to be delivered. They adjusted the bill when i complained. Overall, it fit into my expectations of price and performance based on other entries in Angies list. I'd use them again, the end result was complete satisifaction.

The overall job went pretty well; the only complaint I had is that it was more expensive than the original quotes I got from them. Granted it was like a year ago. When the faucet was installed on my sink they cracked the enamel a little bit. I just don't have a lot of time so it was not bad enough to make a big deal out of it but it still was a porcelain sink that now gets kind of that rusty color. Other than that the work was okay and I probably will use them again in the future.

I thought they were great. They came when they said they would then they went to get the water heater and came right back. I thought they were excellent. I would definitely work with them again.

In general Pipeline did a good professional job. They didn't check to make sure the sprinkler valve was turned on, but it turned out OK because we might not otherwise have discovered our neighbor's problem.
