Our service provider was very professional and capable, and everything was ultimately repaired as needed. I couldn't help but feel that things took much longer to repair, though, than they should have. I found a receipt from some similar work done earlier by another provider and this confirmed my impression, especially for doing the pop-up assembly replacement. I'm not sure why we also had to pay for 4 hours of an apprentice who accompanied the main plumber, who seemed about half the time to be merely watching his colleague work. Again - very nice guys, very professional, and got the job done. I'm just sharing my impressions.

I purchased a Big Deal coupon for for 2 hours of labor (which is included in the job total cost). I got a call from Pipeline the next week to schedule the work. I wasn't ready yet, but they were very accommodating. I knew that I wanted to replace a toilet. When I was talking to the scheduler about this, she connected me to one of the owners (Adam?) who was really helpful and told me that they'd get the toilet and all the parts for me. I didn't ask the cost, but figured that they'd get a better deal than I would, and who knows if I'd get all the parts I needed. The Pipeline person (I forget his name) did all the work in the two hours. He replaced the filter on my Franke water filter system, but showed me where it had leaked in the past and didn't recommend that I replace it; he told me that they're expensive and wear out. He fixed the flapper on an old toilet and installed the new Toto that I requested (thank you, Consumer Reports!). He told me that they'd warranty work they did on parts they provided, so flapper my old toilet was covered but the kitchen filter was my responsibility. The toilet did run once soon after he left, but hasn't since. Overall we were very happy with Pipeline. My only "quibble" is that the Pipeline person was 30 minutes late, but it turns out that it had taken him 30 minutes to pick up the new toilet. He completed the work at our house in 1 1/2 hours, so the labor component didn't exceed the cost of the Big Deal, but I wish that had been clear initially. I take responsibility for that. I will call Pipeline again and, next time, will make sure that I understand how much of the time and cost will be attributable to transportation.

After I purchased an Angie's List coupon, I scheduled an appointment with the nice office person. She also confirmed the appointment the day before (which I always appreciate). Perry of Pipeline Plumbing arrived promptly and did a professional job of extending the pipe to the bathroom vanity and adjusting the location of the vanity. When he finished after about an hour, he asked if there were any other plumbing projects. Perry was pleasant, highly skilled, and cleaned up the work area when he was done. I will use his services again when I need a plumber, and I will recommend him to friends. About six months ago when I had other plumbing work done by someone else, that plumber quoted me a range of $250 to $300 (and several hours) to do what Perry did. I am SO happy with Pipeline plumbing!
Description of Work: Perry of Pipeline Plumbing arrived promptly and did a professional job of extending the pipe to the bathroom vanity and adjusting the location of the vanity. The cost was simply the $99 coupon and about $25 for plumbing parts.

We hired Pipeline Plumbing to come out and do some upgrades on our interior shutoffs. One had broken off under a sink a couple months ago (flooding both floors) and I was concerned others were near end of life/failure as well. So I wanted to be proactive and replace the rest of the shut offs. We bought an AL "Big Deal" having not used this contractor before. But they had a "A" rating so that went a long way towards making me feeling confident. The dispatcher called the day before AND the day of to confirm our appointment which I really appreciated: Our plumber Perry was on time professional, courteous and took the time to explain to me in simple language what the situation was. It turns out we needed a couple more things then I originally thought but I was very happy to have him show me and discuss the options with me. You always fear when you get a contractor out it will be a big upsell. Well I'm here to tell you that Perry was the opposite. The man was a complete professional. He discussed the situation and even took steps to keep my costs down by giving me options that met my needs. He walked me through the whole process, asked me what my needs and expectations were for the job and then explained in detail why he recommended certain solutions over others. I really can't say enough good things about Perry and Pipeline! What I can tell you is I finally found that plumber you want to keep for life. And to other Angie's List users - Perry is your guy! I recommend him 110%!

Excellent - two service calls and satisfied on both occasions. They cleaned up after themselves and did an excellent job with the installation.
Description of Work: Ryan was straight forward and recommend an excellent replacement for low grade toilets that kept plugging. The new toilets are awesome and, when purchased through this vendor, comes with a 12 month warranty (in addition to the factory warranty). In addition, I was able to get our outside, leaky faucets replaced and a sink drain collar replaced. I found this service to be very useful and will definitely recommend them to friends.

I selected this company based on their special from December of $99 for 2 hours work and their high Angieslist rating. Ryan arrived approximately 8:30. I had three tasks for him: 1) Fix shower valve 2) Replace wax ring in toilet 3) Install pedestal sink He started right in with the shower valve - this is a recurring problem with our '72 ranch style home due to the galvanized pipes corroding. Chunks of the pipes will come off, then get trapped within the small parts of the shower valve - making the showers SUPER HOT or FREEZING COLD - depending upon where the debris lands. Ryan pulled the valve out and after it wouldn't seal to his satisfaction, went to his truck and brought in a new Kohler replacement valve - which did the trick. This small job required multiple trips outside to get parts / shut water on & off, but Ryan kept a professional attitude. Second, was replacment of the wax ring on the master bathroom toilet. The previous plumber made quite a mess of this - using too short of bolts and using a double wax ring - what a mess! Ryan fixed this quickly and thoroughly. Last was a pedestal sink install. This sink was purchased by me off of Amazon, and was contemplating tackling this install myself - Ryan did the install (previous sink was already removed) and 90 minutes. It was amazing! I highly recommend this company.

Repaired a leak to a galvanized pipe in an upstairs bathroom of a 1940s style home. The previous plumbing company that was called out in the evening to stop the link had actually cut the pipe and capped it. Pipeline Plumbing pointed out the leak was in the galvanized connection to a galvanized bus (best description I can give), not on the actual pipe. Pipeline gave me an option for a simple repair to the buss, which would have been fairly cheap ($150 or so) or a bigger repair (that they recommended) of replacing all the galvanized piping in the wall for the shower nozzle and up to the shower head. they said about half the water was currently being diverted to the drain pipe and not the shower head, implying a strong need for repair. They would also raise the shower head (as we requested). We opted for the second option but it was more costly than we thought (about $500 total). Part of this was due to parts, and part was due to an hour or so of labor for the plumber to get the parts. I'm happy everything works, and they did a good job, but can't help but feel I spent more than what I wanted. I would consider using them again, but would get more in writing first and make sure I discussed the details more closely. This could be my fault as much as theirs. On the plus side, we had a slow running shower drain that two previous plumbers stated we would need to re-pipe due to a sharp 45 degree angle in the piping to the master drain. The previous plumbers estimates were a day of labor and ~$600. PP was able to resolve the slow drain for essentially free, by clearing out hair and gunk that had accumulated just below the tub drain. It has been draining like a champ in the month since, better than it has in years. For that, I'm very appreciative. This was a 2 hour-for-$99 Angie's deal. The company phoned and dispatched a plumber 30 minutes later - I liked the let's-get-it-done strategy. The plumber assessed what parts were needed, came back 30 minutes later with the correct parts, installed and tested within 2 hours. It was a simple project, but I was happy with the service and quality of work.

Our downstairs toilet overflowed. After determining I couldn't take care of it myself, I called Pipeline. I had used them to fix a plumbing problem at my mother's house in May of 2012. They were excellent then. Prompt, thorough, and personable. The guy who came out in May, Ryan, was good enough to give me his phone number, since I was working and it was a multiple day job. The guys who came out today, Matt and Chris, were also prompt, thorough, and personable. I called about 8:30 am. They came out to the house about 11. After hearing a description of the problem, Matt found the cleanout, snaked it, found the snake he had was too short, and went back to get a longer one. Within 5 minutes of his return the drain was clear. We discussed whether putting a camera down the drain (another $70) would be the right thing. Because the blockage was clear relatively easily, we decided it probably wasn't necessary. We talked about fees. $60 to show up. Plus the cost of snaking the drain. I was assured before he went to get the longer snake that I wouldn't be charged for their errand time. This was a relatively easy job for them, but they were, as mentioned before, prompt, thorough, and personable.

It took them about an hour and a half to complete the process. They were able to use the parts they had on the truck - no small feat as this is a 50 year old house where completing one project is like opening a can of worms.
Description of Work: The pipe under the masterbath sink had rusted through and they came in and replaced all of the plumbing under the sink into the wall rather than just the one piece. Also, the shower had been constantly dripping and they replaced the washer behind the knob. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves (a big plus), accepted a 5% off coupon and completed everything I asked for. I was just shocked at how much plumbers cost as it had been at least 8 years since I had needed one.

Ryan, the plumber did a great job on fixing the rusted drain pipe and he worked in the basement and left it as clean or cleaner than when he arrived to do the job. I feel his work ethic was excellent and I would feel very comfortable referring him and his company to my friends and family.
Description of Work: Plumber stopped by and evaluated the job a week or so before the actual job was performed. We also discussed other plumbing problems and he gave me some future plumbing bids. The immediate problem was a small leak where the drain pipe met the house foundation and Ryan did an excellent job and he was professional and fair in price with good quality workmanship. Unfortunately, his jack hammer broke down and caused him to take longer than he expected to do the job but he explained his dilemma and made a major equipment purchase in order to extract the faulty rusty old pipe from the concrete house foundation. Once he had good tool, he was quickly able to do his work efficiently and professionally and with alot of friendliness as well. He was neat and clean and the drain is working fine now and he anticipated future drain improvements so he installed and upgraded the drain pipe to current code standards so when I make future changes the plumber can attach the new pipe onto what this plumber fixed at the foundation. He was also friendly and clear about his explanations on what kind of plumbing problems I will probably need to be fixing in the future since my house mostly has original pipe from the 1920's. We talked about doing alot of upgrading to improve my water pressure and to get the iron deposits out of the water lines. He explained the upgrades/improvements very well and the materials he would use and made a written estimate for me. Great service and professional work at a fair price. I am definitely interested in using him again.

Scheduling appointment was easy and professional. The receptionist called me the night before the appointment to confirm time. Good experience all the way around.
