Description of Work: I took advantage of the offer of a blueprint to revamp my master bathroom. Slavik and Katya visited my home. My request was to have the master bathroom remodeled to better utilize the footprint. I needed to have the water closet in a smaller space, the walk-in closet made larger and a large steam shower to replace the small shower and jacuzzi tub. They later provided me with the blue print for the bathroom. The initial estimate was $19,000.00. It changed as I decided to turn the bath into a spa with a steam shower and multiple jets, a reclining bench and aromatherapy. As well as to cooordinate the master bedroom with the bath. I also had a skylight installed and a small window placed in the water closet. Since my bath was being remodeled. I decided to update the powder room, the second downstairs bath and to remodel the upstairs bath to have a tub as well as a shower. I also decided to get rid of the pink formica and linoleum in the washroom. I am very pleased with the completed projects. As well as the interior design suggestions for my staircase. Both Slavik and Katya are lovely people with whom to work. Their workers were also very personable and professional. The drywall guy came in and was also very meticulous in the work that he did. The cleanup was fantastic. They are very busy and I can see why. Once, the project is started, you can count on Slavik to be sure that everything moves along quickly. I had to call him back for a couple of items and he was very responsive and saw that everything was working as it should.

I had seen his masterful craftsmanship on another construction project and was very impressed. The work he has performed for our home thus far is impeccable. His attention to detail and creative ideas are to be admired. Slavik is an artist with great vision, very honest and dependable. I will be using his services in the future and would highly recommend him and his crew to anyone looking for a quality craftsman.
Description of Work: Installation of rustic cherry doors, all millwork around windows and doors, exterior mahogany suffits.

 + 2 moreThis is the second time I've hired Slavik / Grada to help with a remodel. I couldn't have done it without him. I was trying to do much of the work myself and was running behind and had a fixed date for my renter to move in. Slavik worked late nights and came through like a champ and we were able to get everything done. He was very affordable and his work was top notch. I also appreciated his design sense. He gave me some pointers that really helped the place look incredible. My renter saw the place before we made updates and almost cried with joy when she saw the finished remodel. Hire him! He's a lovely and talented contractor who can do everything from finish carpentry to tiling work.

We really wanted contemporary look for our house and wanted truly unique and gorgeous at the same time.There are not a lot of contractors out there that have knowledge of modern Architecture style.Slavik not only gifted in the work that he does with his hands,but he has vision and design skills as well.He worked with us to save money and stay within our budget as well as suggested things that made our house wonderful place to live in.Everyone just raves about our house and the quality of workmanship,and we would recommend Grada at every possible opportunity.

 + 0 moreSlavik is great. He's smart, organized, reliable and very, very talented. Look at his website for examples of his stunning work. He was way overqualified for my little job and I'm grateful to have nabbed him. Call him for your remodel project--big or small--before the world figures out he's shifted from new homes to remodels and books him out. He ran into some trouble with installing big hidden hinges into an existing door jam (not his fault, just one of those things you can't anticipate when remodeling). He solved the problem and worked much longer than anticipated. Nevertheless, he stuck with his original bid and didn't complain once. He was the only contractor I've worked with who is well-educated about design (historical and modern). It's a joy talking to him about architecture, furniture, and interior design. He pairs up with his wife who is a talented architect who has done work with Skylab. That's the firm who designed the Doug Fir, Sinju Restaurant, various Nike interiors, and other award-winning work in area. He could be a little more responsive with email and scheduling, but that's really minor. He's working on making sure he can hear his phone while running saws, etc.
Description of Work: Installing hidden door which included sourcing hinges, drilling hidden hing mortices, refinishing door jam, blending existing wall into jam. Installing European hinges and kitchen cabinet hardware.
