The prep work was very thorough. They did more caulking than I expected, but my house really needed it. They were patient when we changed our minds about the trim color. They worked efficiently and professionally. The clean up was excellent and the house looks like a million bucks.

The job went well minus some hiccups that were related to weather rather contractor neglect. In the haste to get some early work done parts of the job were needed to be redone. That work was done without hesitation and the finish job looks great. Marco ensures the work is done well, is conscientious, and offers sound advice from prep work to finish details. The job site was left clean and organized each day. That means a lot to a homeowner.

The process took about 6 weeks. Marco is thorough, friendly and professional.

Overall, excellent experience. I would not try to plan around an Open House, next time. The rainy days of June and early July held our crew up and our Open House came before the job was finished.

Marco and his brother came in and did an outstanding job. It looks brand new and quite elegant now. He is a perfectionist that takes great pride in his work and so he takes a bit longer than other painters because he won't finish until everything looks great. He and his brother are also great family people that you can trust in your home and around your children. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Marco and his team power washed the house, removed storm windows, and removed all unnecessary nails, plant hooks, etc from the exterior of the house. After thoroughly scraping an area of the house, they would use caulk to seal the edge of the old paint. They used boxes of caulk to seal everything up. The house has a lot of detail that I wanted to highlight. This required a lot of detail work that Marco's brother is very good at. Marco saw that I had some nice old wood chairs on the decks and offered to powerwash them and stain them the same color of the decks at no extra charge. That is the kind of guy he is. The house looks fantastic. I just hope he is not too busy the next time I have a project!

Marco was easy to communicate with, extremely thorough in his prep work, very conscientious, and showed excellent attention to detail. We hired Marco and his crew (his brothers, Santiago and Galasio) after getting a recommendation from a co-worker and checking three other references -- two general contractors and another homeowner -- all of whom spoke glowingly of Marco and his painting work. (He's licensed and bonded.) We started late in the painting season, and Marco showed up promptly to give us a bid and started work the next week. He's very personable and enjoyed chatting with us when we came home in the evenings, and checked in regularly to make sure he was doing everything according to our wishes. He worked Saturdays and sometimes even Sunday to get the job done before it got too cold and rainy. Where Marco shined was his commitment to scrape and caulk every last itty-bitty hole in our siding to prep for painting. We told him to be thorough, even if it cost more, and boy he was thorough. He prepped for the better part of two weeks and used literally more than 120 tubes of caulk -- and our house needed it! He also replaced two boards. Safe to say he did not skimp on the prep. And the painting work was excellent. In the end he asked for a very reasonable $500 extra to cover his additional prep costs. Marco is a genuinely customer-oriented guy. He showed patience when we dawdled a bit on paint colors and then went on vacation; we messed up his schedule a bit, but he was unperturbed by it, telling us sincerely that all that mattered was our satisfaction. I felt very comfortable with Marco painting my house. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone.
