We recently had our house painted and are very happy with the results. Marco was easy to work with and very professional. He took his time to do the job correct with attention to detail. Once the job was completed, he left the workspace cleaner than it was before he started. Overall we are very happy with the painting and would highly reccomend Marco in the future to anyone looking for a well priced exterior painter.

Day 1: Marco and his team power washed the house and surrounding concrete including the driveway and walks. Day 1 and 2: Caulked around windows and nailed wood surfaces where the nails had raised through the years. He then caulked the house seams and primed where he had done repair work. Windows were covered and masked, all exterior faucets and ornamental fixtures were either removed or covered to prevent over spray. Day 3: Painting began with the exterior main color Day 4: Finished main exterior and began trim painting. Day 5: Because of inclement weather, the finishing touches were delayed until late in afternoon so that he could finish without a problem. At the end of each day, the team picked up and left no garbage or residual mess from taping, paper, or anything that would leave a bad look. He and his wife worked daily until late in the evening making use of valuable daylight hours and making sure the job was professional. Because we had Marco paint this house many years ago, he has maintained his desire to exceed expectations providing a professional and reasonably priced job. He uses the best paint available - for us it was Miller Evolution with a lifetime warranty. He keeps his client informed of delays or changes he feels would benefit the look and job. I will continue to utilize the services of Marco and am looking forward to having him provide me with an estimate of interior painting in the fall. I have recommended Moon Construction to others and those who used his services have voiced their pleasure with the job/s he has done for them as well.

Marco was incredibly helpful, professional and detail oriented. I needed help with a lot of touch up in preparation to sell my house. There was some confusion from previous contractors about the colors needed in different rooms. Marco was so helpful in being able to match the right colors. He squeezed me in to help me get ready for my open house. And he did a great quality job. Would definitely call him again for any painting needs.

Marco and his crew did a great job. They did more than the minimum called for in the contract, and did careful, high-quality work. They started by pressure-washing the house, taking care to work around trees and shrubs attached (espaliered) to the house. They then started scraping where paint was obviously damaged. As they worked, they found more and more areas where the paint was damaged. They scraped these areas as well. They ended up doing far more scraping than was called for in the contract. They feathered in the scraped areas as necessary before applying a high-quality oil-based primer by roller and brush. They sprayed the entire body of the south side of the house. They hand-painted all fascia and trim by roller and brush. They also discovered that the ceiling over the front deck was discolored and recommended painting that as well. They inluded that work even though it was not specified in the contract. The only charges above the contracted amount were for ceiling paint (which we bought) and a charge for an additional gallon of trim paint. They used high-end materials (as specified in their contract). Clean-up was careful and complete. We were very satisfied with their approach and quality of work.

We bought a house that was painted very dark, dramatic colors. We have lived here 3 years, and I needed to change the color in all rooms to something much lighter. The house is not large, but we have many 20 foot ceilings, so the wall area is much larger than the square footage of the house would imply. I called 4 service providers from Angie's list. 2 responded, stating they would not come this far out in the county (we live about 15 miles from the county line). One never returned my call. Mr. Miguel was the only provider who would give me an estimate. So then I also called 3 painters listed in my local yellow pages. Again, one stated he didn't cover this area, one never returned my call, and one came out and gave me an estimate. That estimate was $2500.00 more than Mr. Miguel's estimate. Both contractors gave us a list of paint providers and paints to choose from. But after seeing the line of Miller paints, we wanted a different (more expensive) kind than was on either list. I contacted Mr. Miguel and explained what we wanted, and within 24 hours he gave us a new estimate (still $2000 less than the competitor). So we decided to use Moon Construction for the project. Mr. Miguel worked with us on the start date - it was not easy to schedule due to our schedules, but he started on the first day we had available. The entire job was finished in 5 days (the computer's bid stated it would take 10-12 days to complete) and my house looks beautiful. He did everything I asked for and more. First, he primed the entire house, since I was going from very dark, semi-gloss painted walls to a very light, silk finish. Then he painted the edges of all my woodwork, because the last paint job was done by the homeowners and they had not taped off the woodwork so it was splotched with paint. Then he applied 2 coats of my chosen color and painted my baseboards. In the middle of the job, I realized I had not included painting a door that for some reason the past home owners had painted dark brown when all the rest of the woodwork was ivory. I asked him to please change the job to include this, and it was done. All of the work was completed in a very professional manner, and I am completely happy with the results. When the job was finished, they even vacuumed my house!

Outstanding! Marcos did an excellent job in all phases of the job. He is very conscientious, makes sure he asks questions, offered his own ideas when we were not sure. His work was top notch professional. He was very punctual, and never was wasting time. We could not be happier with the outcome. Marcos devoted so much time and effort to the very tedious prep work, and I feel did beyond what I would have expected for the caulking and spot priming. He removed all of the downspouts and placed them all back exactly how they had been installed. He painted a deck railing that I am sure took longer then was anticipated. Marcos had his wife and son assisting him at times. They were both very nice and just as professional. Every day they cleaned up the job site. I am so impressed with his attention to all of the details that go into a job like this. His estimate was very reasonable. It was much less than 2 of the other 3 bids we received. We are planning to use Moon construction again for some other jobs. Our neighbors were so impressed that they asked for his phone number for work they want done for their home.

Marco and his crew just completed an outstanding full exterior paint with 3 paint colors. Our home looks like new. The house was just recently purchased and required a very large amount(more than typical) of prep in terms of caulking and paint scraping. The complete house siding was worn with multiple nail gaps, the windows had caulk gaps and exposed metal flashing and the house had open seams where the rock face met the siding. Marco and his team patiently took time to caulk everything after it was washed, primed the exposed wood/metal areas prior to painting with adequate time to cure as needed in between applications. I was lucky we had a sunny dry spell in February as it took about 1wk to complete on our large 2 story home. The quality of Marcos work is the best I have had out of 3 previous paint jobs on my other homes from other reputable companies. I have had other firms which state they prime then paint but found out later that was not the case after a few years when the paint starts to flake again. With Marco I saw the primer go up and I can not say I have seen that before with other companies which were trying to finish things in a hurry to get on to the next job. An example how Marco is quality oriented is the fact he even repainted our numbers and a wood chair out front to match the house. My wife was very excited about the chair and even the neighbors were commenting on that. The estimate was very reasonable compared to other firms. Marco and his team are punctual, courteous and he keeps you informed on the timeline. Overall we are very happy with the job and can confidently recommend Marco/Moon for any paint work.

My experience with Moon Construction far exceeded my expectations. Marco's work was meticulous. I have high ceilings and chose several different paint colors. Marco painted all walls, doors and floor/door moldings. He did a wonderful job on the edges and ensured there was a clean line between the wall and the floor/door moldings. He also painted the interior of my closets which I love! Marco was responsive and prompt. He worked long hours to complete the painting job on time. My husband and I had been trying to paint our house ourselves, which was a lot more and a lot harder work than we had thought it would be. And I was having serious doubts about getting on the roof to tackle the dormers. We knew that our good-weather window was getting pretty tight and decided to try to find a painter to finish up. I called several painters that couldn't even come out to look at our house for a week or more, or who wouldn't finish up a partial house. But Marco stopped by the same day I called him and was able to schedule us in right away, before another job started, even though it meant that he had to work on Saturday to finish up. He and his family worked very hard for 2 and a half long days to finish everything up. They did very careful and thorough work and the price was excellent. They prepped well, and did a great job with the accent colors on the architectural details. The garage door, with a separate color on the individual door panels and the trim and the body, looks particularly fabulous. The house looks great and it's such a relief to have everything finished. I've worked with quite a few contractors over the last several years on the house, and this was the quickest, easiest process from start to finish so far. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Moon Construction to anyone.

They did a great job. very professional, showed up on time, cleaned up after finishing each day. It rained a lot the time they did the work, they called and followed up with us and had great communication. The price was very fair and overall everything was just great!

Moved into a new home and we wanted to get multiple rooms painted prior to our move while the house was empty. Marco and his team came in and did an excellent job repainting all the requested rooms with multiple colors. The great room and entry were very large high 2 story walls. The place looked completely new afterwards and we are very happy. I contacted Marco through a referral and was not disappointed. Due to our move I had a short window and he worked this out to meet our needs to complete this large job just as he stated. We are extremely happy with the service and quality and will be definitely contacting Moon construction for future work.

They did an excellent job, left things very clean, arrived when they said that they would be there and completed the job in the time estimated. They did everything except the power washing while I was away from home for a few days. I was Very Happy with their service. Marco painted my daughter's home a week or so prior to painting my home. My daughter and son-in-law were equally happy with the work Moon Construction, Inc. did at their home.

Moon Construction did an excellent job of painting our renovated basement, from baseboards to ceiling in all areas. We chose the colors from Sherwin and Williams and passed on our different color selections to Moon Construction and they took it from there. Marco the head painter was professional and had some good suggestions on how to make the make the paint job look better; e.g. using and quot;mudand quot; to smooth out some of the walls which had supporting posts showing through. They showed up on time and asked if they could work later than 5pm on some days, which we were happy to agree to. We were very happy with the quality of their work and would use them again in the future!

Marco did an amazing job. I got his name from a co-worker who raved about his work, and he wasn't exaggerating. Our home and garage had not been professionally painted in many years, and it showed. He spent a LOT of time on prep, including caulking every possible crack and seam and scraping every area that had any peeling. He also primed every area that was bare or needed a new color, including the gutters. The house now looks fabulous. All the trim is perfect. He even did the screen door and areas of the back of the garage that I couldn't even get to through the underbrush. Best of all, he protected all the plants and garden areas and was very thoughtful and respectful in his dealings. He also checked with us on every decision point to make sure everything was done the way we wanted, but he also wasn't shy about giving his professional advice on paint texture, where to use trim colors, etc. We were very glad we listened, because he was spot on about everything. And our neighbor, who is very particular, quickly signed Marco to do his house later this summer. Marco is a pro, and it was a pleasure to have him and his relatives working on our home. Let me also add that he finished exactly when he said he would, even though weather caused a delay. He worked overtime several days to complete the job, but never once cutting a corner on anything. Anyone is welcome to contact us about seeing his work first hand. I painted houses to earn money while in college, and know good work when I see it. And I sure did see it.

Marco (and his two charming teenage sons) painted my large, 100 year old house. I have lived in my house for 37 years and have used many painters over time. I was very impressed with the quality of the prep, and the respect they showed for my property. The work was done in March, and they worked hard when ever the weather allowed, sometimes into the night. When I discovered a small problem, Marco cheerfully came back and fixed it. I would definitely hire Moon Construction again.

This is the 2nd time I have used Marco. Nice gentleman, and good quality work but hard to pin down on exact work days, but I've come to believe that's part of "Contractors 101 School"

Another fantastic job by Marco and Moon Construction. I am a real estate broker and hired him to pressure wash my new listing in anticipation of going on the market this week. He got me on his schedule right away, and showed up as we had agreed. He really took the time to do the job right; years of grime and moss fell away and the place looks brand new. This was an especially tricky job because of the tile roof and the portion of the siding that is a more delicate synthetic stucco, and Marco did it perfectly with no damage and no peeling paint. I would recommend Marco and his crews to anyone.

Moon Construction were outstanding. Marco went above and beyond on prepping our old house and garage before painting. He was extremely reliable, professional, and friendly, and always did more than we asked for. The quality was fantastic, even on our old (1905) cedar-shingled house and garage. He and the crew finished within about a week. I'd recommend Moon Construction to anyone, anytime. Marco even cleaned our windows!

Marco and his crews are excellent; they do careful prep which is the most important part of a paint job, were working every minute they were on-site, were very polite and accommodating of our need to get in and out around ladders and trucks, and cleaned up the site well when done. They also made good on their year-long guarantee when the next summer some paint started bubbling. Fantastic, I can't say enough good things about them.
