Nick arrived on time, diagnosed the issue, told us how it could be fixed and performed the work in a timely manner. THe price was reasonable.

Scotty was very professional. He was careful of our home and performed tasks quickly and without mess. He provided good advice and suggestions for plumbing upkeep.

After using the shower in our upstairs bathroom, we noticed water dripping from a small hole in our dining room ceiling. I was sure this would end up being a huge project--hole in the ceiling, followed by an expensive plumbing fix, followed by expensive ceiling repair. We started calling all the top-rated plumbers on Angies List, and most couldn't get to us for a week or two. Mike Patterson Plumbing was the first company that could come the next day, so they got the job. We were given a two hour window, and the plumber ended up coming early (after a phone call to check with us first). He took a look, told us the problem was probably due to bad caulking, either in the shower drain, or around the shower pan. He recaulked everything (luckily I had scrubbed everything really well the day before, so everything was clean and dry). We had to let it dry for a week, and that solved the problem--no more leak. Such an easy fix compared to what I was expecting!

Mike Patterson Plumbing came through for me again. One of my outdoor faucets began leaking both outside and under the sheetrock in the garage when I turned on the water after our hard freeze in February. It didn't leak with the faucet turned off so I was able to let it go for a while. Nick arrived this morning, quickly assessed the problem, made a small, neat access to the piping and connection inside the wall, and replaced some of the copper piping along with the split "frost-free" faucet. It looked great when he finished and I now have a secure new faucet with a built-in backflow protective valve. I couldn't be more pleased.

We had sewer smell in the bathroom when the shower was used. We thought it was a plugged vent causing gasses to burp past the water trap. Scott didn't think that would be the cause, but could not tell where the smell was coming from because only my wife could smell it. Scott thought about it a while and said that it could be a bad toilet seal allowing gasses to come through when the hot shower water created steam pressure inside the pipes. Way to go Scott! I'm pretty handy but this one had me stumped.

He was very professional and super friendly and did a very good job. He replaced the copper pipe with this special plastic tubing, which is used in Europe to put in heated floors and installed a new shut off valve. Had a little hick up after he left, but he came back right away and fixed everything. We are very pleased with the completion of this job. Thank you for your excellent service. If we would ever need you again, we know who to call.

I can't say enough good things about this company. We got home from a trip to the coast and discovered we had no hot water. On the advice of the gas company we called another provider who came out and said we needed a new gas valve for the water heater. After a few calls he informed us the part was unavailable in Portland and would have to be shipped from Seattle and would be here the next day. We received a phone call that the part was not shipped and would not arrive until Monday. Consequently, we would have no hot water from Wednesday evening to Monday. My daughter contacted Mike Patterson who found the part in Portland and the water heater was repaired Friday evening. Excellent service. (This was warranty work so no dollar amount involved). In the future all my plumbing needs will go to this company,

I talked to several other plumbers (also from Angie's list) before finding this company, and their rates seem to be comparable. I chose Mike Patterson plumbing because of their good ratings on Angie's list, and they had appointment times available right away. Nick came out to fix our toilet. Arrived on time. Some bolts were stripped, so it took a little longer than it might have otherwise. He reinstalled the toilet with a new wax ring. It is no longer leaking. Nick was efficient and courteous. I would definitely use them again.

We've had excellent service from this company and I found them on Angie's List. It was a very good experience and the company had a class A rating in Angie's List. I thought the toilet installation price was very reasonable. We were very satisfied with the cost. In the past he also installed a new kitchen faucet and also did an excellent job. The quality was excellent; we have not had any problems with the toilet.

You don't? Well, you should try Mike Patterson Plumbing LLC. That was exactly my experience and I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to others for plumbing work. I called them to replace a dead sump pump (which Nick the plumber did with expert efficiency) and then I pointed out that the second sump pump didn't shut off on it's own and he pointed out that it didn't have a check valve. The toilet had to be reset. It was done efficiently and well. He was polite and gave me good advice. It was a satisfactory experience.

It was an awesome experience! His service charge was very reasonable. That is all I remember. The guy who came out was very polite. Everything stand out. They did a phenomenal job. They were polite and young. They reminded me of one of my own kids. I was very impressed with the service. I would use him again and I would recommend him. I would not use anybody else or any other company.

Everything went as planned. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. This was an emergency repair as water was leaking into the basement. There's really nothing more to say. They did a great job!

Nick called to let me know that he would be here in half an hour. He arrived as said and got to work immediately. The work was done cleanly, professionally and much quicker than I expected it to be. It was a pleasure to deal with him, he was friendly, curtious and knew what he was doing. This is the second time I called Mike Patterson and I will definitely call upon them again if I need repairs in the future. The work cost three times more than the quote. Work was done well it was just a surprise when we had to pay. One of the new valves had an issue a few weeks later and they came right back out to repair it under warrantee. They were very professional.

Had two jobs for them to do. Nick was the plumber who came out. Called about 10 min beforehand to let me know he was coming. Described my issues and he asked me if I wanted him to try to fix the valve, or install a new one. I asked his recommendation and he said that either would work. What he recommended doing is to fix the shower first and if there was time left (there is a 1 hour minimum) he'd decide how to handle the valve. He ended up finishing the shower quickly so installed a new valve. It took just a bit over an hour, but he charged for just the hour. He was very professional, and wore booties to protect my carpet which I appreciated.

He was probably here 10 minutes yet charged $95 + a $25 truck fee. In my opinion very expensive to install a small $9 hose from a valve to a toilet.

Nick was very considerate of floors and other items in the house. He was thorough and complete.

Rob came into my mothers home and was wonderful, he told me that his company could not do all the work the bathroom needed and emailed me a few names of people that could do the work, I was very impressed and will call again when I need plumbers.

Nick arrived on time. He went right to work. I showed him where he could most easily access the pipes. He took 4 hours to do the job. He offered to do a full clean-up but gave me the choice if I wanted to finish what he hadn't cleaned up. I cleaned up to save some on the costs, since I had the day off. The drain flows super fast. No more back ups!
