Description of Work: Second time we have worked with Patterson. Biggest problem was finding them in the directory (under M for Mike Patterson) :). Our provider was punctual, efficient, explained things to us in advance and then made it all work. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: Replaced entire 46 yr old galvanized water pipes with PEX. Stub outs from walls with copper, new supply valves, and new GE GeoSpring hybrid heat pump water heater.

Description of Work: They replaced our water pressure tank. The price was within the range they gave us in the estimate. Had we known it would take so long to drain the old tank and we were billed by the hour, we would have done that ourselves and saved some money.

Description of Work: Called to check out a "musty" odor in our garage area. Thought it might be the result of a some leaky plumbing, etc. They responded very quickly and their representative "Nick" did a thorough examination of our crawl space and other areas of potential concern which might have led to the odor. Nothing in the way of a plumbing problem was found and I later discovered we had left a large bag of garden debris undetected in our garage for several weeks and some of the vegetable matter was rotting and creating the "odor". Embarrassing! While looking for possible problems, I mentioned to Nick that the hot water pump on our hot water heater,(which provides nearly instant hot water to all our taps), was out, and a previous plumbing company we used (not through Angies List, and which will go unnamed) had determined it needed replacing. They said they would order the part and let me know when it was in and how much it would cost. They estimated it would cost around $ 500.00, plus installation. However, after 2 weeks, and 3 phone calls from me, they failed to respond and, as of this writing, still haven't. Nick identified the required pump immediately and told me they could order it, and install it within a day or two. I told him to proceed and the pump was ordered, installed and working within a few days! Nick was an absolute pleasure to work with and we couldn't be happier with Mike Patterson Plumbing. We will definitely use them again when a need arises and we highly recommend them to anyone else!

Description of Work: Nick performed the services professionally and timely. He even called when he was on his way over to give me a "heads up," even though he showed up when he was scheduled.

Description of Work: I had them replace a shower stall. The old shower was leaking, and was very old, so they suggested replacing it. I am happy with the work they did.

Description of Work: Replaced a freeze proof outdoor faucet that I had tried to do and messed up. The man who came out was prompt and had the new faucet installed in less than an hour including the repair to the inside wall. Outstanding job.

Description of Work: Came to give me a quote, spent a lot of time asking good questions. But never provided the quote. I told I need it by the next morning. Waited two days. Hired someone else. They lost about $6k in business.

Description of Work: They totally rebuilt two toilets (intake valves,steel reinforced hoses from supply to toilet,downspout, flapper, etc.). One of the toilets had broken down that morning and water was continuously running into it and would not shut off be itself. They were able to come out that morning and do both toilets. I had had them come over to replace a water heater, fix the toilets, change out some bad and poorly placed valves, and install steel reinforced washing machine hoses in 2002. I asked about having the water heater replaced again and they suggested waiting on that job. I am having them back for some additional upgrades once all the parts arrive.

Description of Work: Terry was very professional and a genuinely nice man. He arrived on time, went straight to work, found the problem, showed it to us and promptly fixed it. I would definitely recommend his company to anyone.

Description of Work: Don't work with this company!! They fixed a bathroom sink trap for me in the past and were much too expensive. I invited them for a second problem in the same faucet out of shear laziness. The appointment was scheduled for 10-12. Whne I did not hear from the plumber at 11 I was told to rudley to wait since my time was not done yet. At 11:50 the response was "I can get you in touch with YOUR plumber" . No sesne of responsibility or concern for customer service. When I expressed surprise atthe lack of concern since this was THEIR plumber - they hung the phone on me. Shameless company!!

Description of Work: They hooked up our washer and dryer. They also fixed a leak.

Description of Work: The serviceman, Nick, was very professional and knowledgable. Instead of cutting through our downstair's ceiling to track down a leak (this was the strategy recommended by another plumber), he tracked down the leak to a toilet and fixed that. Great job!!

Description of Work: capped a few water lines no longer needed, installed fitting for external hot water. nick is great. I have already scheduled my next appointment with them.

Description of Work: Our mid-century house has mid-century plumbing! These guys did a great job fixing the leaks and rebuilding the "vintage" plumbing.
