Excellent service!!!

Ten days after I purchased the new refrigerator, I saw an ad for the same appliance at a cheaper price from another appliance store in Portland. I called and asked Hamilton's if they had any price guarantee. They did and they cheerfully refunded the price difference when I brought the ad in to them. Excellent service and a store that treats their customers well. I will definitely shop there again for my appliances.

They sold us a refrigerator that would work for our kitchen after having problems with a different service provider. They sold us the initial refrigerator, we had problems, and then they also sold us a newer replacement refrigerator that is performing beautifully. They went above and beyond what they needed to do.

When my old refrigerator was failing and needed replacement I went to Hamilton's to see if they had the exact one my Web search indicated was the correct one. They did not actually have it in stock, but they printed a copy of the manufacturer's specs to make sure it would fit in the space available while offering maximum capacity and features. They stayed right with me on the transaction, answering all of my questions honestly and giving full explanations of every feature. And they did it with good humor. I have been to appliance dealers who just want to cram something into your kitchen and get you out of there. At Hamilton's they took their time and let me have some quiet space to look at the specs, the price, and financing options. So I ordered it and it arrived from the factory on time. When they called to schedule delivery they said the person who was licensed to hook up the icemaker water supply would meet them at my house so we could do everything at once.

When they delivered the stove, they dropped a 1/8th inch pc of fiberboard to protect there floor. However, they dropped it within 2 feet of the old drop in stove. Therefore, the new stove had to be moved in order to remove the old stove. The installation was contracted out to Danned. When they came to install the new one, it had to be moved. When it was moved, the floor was scratched severely. Hamiltons claimed no responsibility even though they dropped the new one too close to the old one. Consequently, the installer (recommended by Hamiltons) agreed to pay 1/3 the cost to replace the floor. Hamiltons denied any responsibility.

They are an outstanding company who cares about servicing the customer's needs. Their sales people were very helpful in explaining options and their repairman was on time and very knowledgeable. Their appliances are competitively priced but it's their focus on service that caught my attention and will keep me coming back.

On time. Quick install. No problems. When the dishwasher needs to be replaced, this is where I'm going.

THE REPAIR MAN CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND FIXED PART OF THE PROBLEM, BUT STILL WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THE WAY IT WORKED AND ORDERED A NEW RACK. WORKS GREAT NOW.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE AT HAMILTONS. THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY HELPFUL GIVING ME HIS INSIGHT INTO WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I WAS NOT RUSHED AND WAS GIVEN MANY OPTIONS.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD TO WORK WITH... THEY DELIVERED THE WASHER and DRYER DURING A SMALL WINDOW THEY HAD GIVEN. THEY CARRIED THE SET ALL THE WAY UP OUR STAIRS AND HOOKED THE APPLIANCES UP TO MAKE SURE THEY BOTH WORKED CORRECTLY. THEN A YEAR LATER WHEN WE HAD A LITTLE ISSUE... THEY GAVE US A LIST OF CLOSE COMPANIES TO CONTACT TO HELP US OUT.
