Our technician who was sent to your home is our JP plumber who has been in the business for over 25 years. He is skilled to be able to take care of both drains and plumbing all within the same service call. Noting your invoice from the service, he was able to quickly and effectively accomplish the following: remove and install 2 new pop up assemblies, clear two traps on sinks, clear additional sink drain line, removed a test piece that was previously left on the garden tub and cabled out the drain line for better flow. Multiple discounts were given for the many lines worked on in addition to a senior discount. The total amount due was $531.75. Regarding the leak issue: We warranty our work with parts we provide. Therefore we were able to return to correct the failed item at no charge. Again, thank you for your input. Each customer is valuable to us here at Drain away Rooter. Our bathroom sink had been draining slow for a couple of months but when our house guest stopped it up and it wouldn't drain I knew we were in it. I tried all the remedies but to no avail. It was after 5 on a Thursday and I knew I'd be in emergency territory but since it's our only bathroom and I am hosting a guest I had little choice. I called drain away up, Shannon was a doll and very sweet. Explained the times available and the cost (very reasonable as this was the 3rd place i'd called). Jake came out within the time frame given and couldn't have been sweeter or more helpful! Not only did he fix the problem at hand BUT he explained it too me in laymen's terms and with great care. He also explained some of the overarching issues that caused the problem due to the previous owners cutting corners on repairs etc. and what it might take to fix those at a later date if we wished. There was not pressure to spend or guilt just real explanation and helpfulness. We chatted nicely throughout his work, which is great since it's always awkward to sit around silently in these situations. My husband is on his first deployment and we talked about that and he reminded me of their Military discount. I always forget to ask about that it got me 10% off my services. He was quick, neat, professional and beyond helpful. He ever played tug of war with my dog while I signed the paperwork. I'll be recommending and using Drain Away again. I've heard horror story upon horror story about emergency plumbers and the negativity and coercion that happens in these stressful situations and this was exactly the opposite. A great company with great staff!

Jake shows up on time and cleared our drain out in no time. He explained what was going on, what he was doing to fix things, and made some recommendations for fixing the problem at the source so it wouldn't happen again. Sink drains fine now. A very smooth experience.

I called & was frantic because if the leak wasn't fixed I'd either be without water all weekend or wasting a lot of water if I left it on at the outside curb. The Drain Away receptionist was very helpful & said someone would be out between 4 & 6pm. At 2pm she called back & said the plumber was on his way. Ken Stikgebouer arrived & quickly assessed the situation. He gave me a quote ( which was more than half less than the 1st company I called) which I agreed to and went to work. He made the repairs in record time and I was thrilled because the actual cost was even less than his quote of $350!. I will recommend Drain Away & Ken to anyone who needs plumbing services. They are simply the best!

With our new home we inherited an injector pump complete with shoestrings around the fan, which as it turns out is a recipe for disaster. We noticed a major problem on Saturday called the kind folks at Drain Away and they were here within a few hours. The news that we needed a new pump was not excellent, but the professional education on our system and ways to prevent such trouble in the future, was a silver lining.
Ken, passionate and professional plumber and all around nice guy, explained things completely so that we had a full grasp of our system and even offered expert advice on a few other plumbing questions we had (i.e. weatherization) while he visited. This guy knows his stuff, is willing to take the time to educate, and wins Drain Away major customer service stars.
The impact to our routine was minimized and we felt like our situation was a top priority from our first call (comforting when concerning access to water in your home!). The call intaker/dispatcher knew all the right questions to get us service as quickly as we suspected we needed it and was excellent in communicating when to expect a visit.
We'll certainly be calling the pros at Drain Away in a year for a pump check-up and know that we can count on them if anything else comes-up before then.

I contacted Drain Away Rooter Friday afternoon to request urgent services to unclog my kitchen sink. The dispatcher was very friendly and professional, and was able to schedule me for Saturday evening at 7pm. She called back at 4pm to inform me that the technician would be able to get there before 5pm, thus saving me the extra fee for service after 6pm. Jake arrived on time, was very personable and professional, cleared the drain promptly, gave me the Angies List discount, and provided me valuable information about how to diagnose problems with and maintain my feeble elderly plumbing system. My basement drain kept backing up. The technician came out, right on time, cleared the drains, and actually was very informative about the what he was doing as he did it. Almost a year later now and no backups.

The technician arrived on the early end of the time window we were given and after a call from the office letting us know he was on the way. He looked over the situation, got the snake and cleared 10 feet of drain. When he ran the water it still backed up. He pushed the snake about a foot farther and the drain cleared. He was gone in 20 min. Great work!

It was a wonderful experience. They were great. They had everything cleaned up every evening because it took a couple days to do. They were very neat. When we stopped by to talk to them, the person in charge came up and explained what they were doing. They explained what they were going to do, the follow through. They were just very professional. Their price was good. They were higher than anybody else we had but we thought they were really worth it. They came on the day they said. We didn't live on this property but they were there when we went by.

We noticed water all over the floor in our laundry room Friday morning. The water was not going down the drain and it was everywhere. We thought it was the hot water heater that was leaking. We contacted them and they came out same day. They were prompt, cheerful & courteous. Very helpful in explaining everything to my husband and was very kind to my children who are very curious. He was sucessful in clearing the drain. We also chose to have a video camera down in the drain pipe to make sure that the pipe was totally clear and found how our pipes run underground. The cost was a little bit more than we expected but totally within budget. We did actually add on the video camera which was extra. We would contact them again in the future if we have another drain problem.

Drain Away was quickly available for an estimate on sewer inspection for my new home. They ended up having to come back out (no fault of theirs) since my clean outs were hidden. When they did, they pulled a toilet and scoped the sewer line. At first they weren't certain they could do the full line, but innovated using a clean out and got the work done. Excellent responsiveness from their staff, as well, even at early and late hours. Also made scope video available online. Would use again, for sure.

The job turned out to be harder than they expected due to prior owners improperly installing the wrong drain components, but he stayed and got the job done. He didn't charge anything extra in spite of it taking much longer to clear the problem from the drain than it should have. We very much appreciate the exceptional service - even after hours! Our basement is dry thanks to your help, thus avoiding potential costly damage to the home. Thank you! We will add you to the list of best plumbers/rooters to call should we ever need future service!
