Service was off the chart. Got a clog then don't hesitate to call Drain Away. Jake and Shane where amazing and professional. I'LL say it again. Incredible customer service!

Matt was great in diagnosing the problem, including identifying a broken strap that was allowing the drain line to bow in the crawlspace. Ran the cable snake through the line, cleared the blockage and tested for leaks when done. Drain Away Rooter was able to schedule us for a next day appointment and they even wound up coming earlier than originally schedule. Nothing but a positive experience.

They arrived early, called first. Got the work done promptly and without any issues. Did try to upsell on additional services but what company doesn't do that these days. Simple No Thanks and that's that. Very friendly, and did a good job. Cleaned up after.

Great Service from beginning to ending. On a Saturday 1 pm, I had three sinks and a shower drain backing up when I run the disposal on kitchen sink. I called and immediately a person answered and schedule me for the next available time (between 6 and 8 pm) we exchanged information and she gave the service prices and explained that was and overtime price for that late hours services. Knowing that I had opportunity do decide if I want to wait and schedule for another day; but I decide that to pay the overtime price and have my house functioning ASAP. Troy arrived within the time window promised and accessed the problem right away. He got his equipment in and in less then a hour, all my drains were functioning well again. He answered all my questions and pointed out what I could do to minimize future clogs. After he connect the traps back to drain he tested to ensure that nothing was leaking and cleaned the areas where he worked. He was polite, knowledgeable, and professional. I am very please with the service, and in the event I have future drain issues I will definitely call hire them again.

We had a flooded basement. Many of our drains appeared to be clogged. The bathtub, washing machine and other appliances were leaking....Matt V. was very polite, understanding and professional. He was also friendly and easy to talk to. He wasted no time getting to work and was a great listener. He evaluated and understood our issue immediately and was very quick to suggest possible solutions. He carefully explained options to us and their individual likely success. He was quick, did not waste time, worked very, very hard, and checked frequently to see if we were happy with his progress and plan. He did everything right! This man was not only a very hard worker, but very confident, kind, smart and pleasant. The amount we were charged was very reasonable considering his knowledge and time spent...and he fixed our issue. The person was very honest that they old had someone available who could do drain unclogging and recommended another company that had availability to do both. I really appreciate the professionalism!

End to end, the process of making an appointment to getting the work complete was seamless. My kitchen drain backed up on a Thursday evening. I called Drain Away at 7:20 am the next day and they were available to have a tech out by Sat. morning which worked great for me because it meant I didn't have to take off work. On the day of service, the office called promptly at 8 am to let me know they had dispatched and would be there shortly. The work was completed in about an hour and a half which included not only the kitchen drain but also a utility sink drain I asked the tech to look at. Clean, friendly, efficient and best of all I didn't have to juggle work or pre-scheduled Sat. afternoon plans. Highly recommended.

Everyone I interacted with from this company was fantastic. Shane in the office was friendly and professional and got me scheduled for the next day. The drain pro was available earlier than expected so they called me to see if it was ok for him to come earlier than scheduled. That worked really well for our house so we said yes. Jake arrived on time, quickly drained the tub retrieving not one but two hair balls in different parts of the tub drain. He explained how we can avoid the issue in the future, was friendly and professional and got the job done fast. I'm hoping to never have this preventable issue again, but if I need a drain cleared I would definitely call these folks again.

Making the appointment was easy, the technician arrived promptly. He was able to complete his work in a readily expedient amount of time. His diagnosis work was great. He explained everything about what he saw and the reason we were likely experience the symptoms we were even though the drain lines were not clogged or leaking. He reviewed City records of the property and conveyed with his Boss and other experts as to the diagnosis. He did a very thorough job. We were very pleased.

I had a drain in the bottom of a koi pond that also serves as a drain for a down spout. It has been problematic for years, but I have always been able to clear it myself. This time it was beyond my ability. They had to come out twice but on the second visit they cleared the pipe. I think it was a very difficult job in light of the time it took, and the problem discovered. However, in the process of clearing the pipe they broke a PVC pipe exposing a faulty design which had obviously been worked on before in this 45 year old house. Rather than having them dig it out, I decided it would be a lot cheaper for me to do myself, which I did. The fix was not complicated so the only thing that took time was the digging which I delegated to my 17 year old son. Through the winter the drain has worked the best it has in the 12 years we've owned the home. The only reason I marked them down was despite the very high level of professionalism they displayed on the job, at the end I got the sense on the phone from the boss that he felt his man didn't charge enough. However, I felt the amount charged was appropiate. I could have misread him in our conversation, and I almost feel bad marking them down for this single contact. But having paid them $1,300, I was I was disappointed in his comments. I would definitely hire them again.

The vendor arrived on schedule, reviewed the situation, and went right to work, clearing both toilets in a short time. He then spent some time discussing ways that would help to avoid the situation again. He came to the job site with the needed tools and used them effectively to get the job done. My only concern is in the area of pricing. They do unit pricing so that the second unit cost almost as much as the first unit as apposed to an initial cost for the first hour's work. While that may be good for the vendor, and I do not quarrel with their pricing decisions, it is/was expensive for the customer. They did provide a senior discount, which helped. I should note two things. 1. Since one toilet was still functional we elected to schedule the work for the following Monday rather than make a weekend service visit. We looked to Angie's list to find a fairly local vendor. We called, left a message, and they got right back to us. And the vendor was very helpful in working out the scheduling details. We found that they know their plumbing and they provided very good service.

They spent an hour scoping and mapping the sewer under our basement floor. Fast, effective and no problem.

EXCELLENT! Once again Jake (and his assistant - I didn't get his name! But he should also be commended!) came and we used the commercial high pressure drain cleaner and determined that the spot I thought was an outlet was not. So he suggested we cut a small hole in the drain at about what we guess was the middle and start attempting to clear the drain. He was concerned that the water would fill the culvert formed by the hill and the footing in which the drain tube resided. So he used cell phones to communicate with the asisstant who turned on and off the compressed water out at the curb. This ended up being the perfect system - but in fact the clearing process was fast enough not to add so much water that the area would get flooded. Remember , the drain clearing system Drain Away Rooter uses is high pressure, but low volume - perfect for these areas. Within a very short time it was clear that the drain was starting to .. um.. drain! and he took the time to clear the drain hose in the opposite direction - away from the drain hoses' eventual direction - the sidewalk - and towards it's terminal point, at the far end of the crawl space up against a tall concrete foot. By going back and forth, to the terminal point and reversing direction down in the direction of the sidewalk drain, he completely cleared up all the accrued mud inside the drain in mere minutes. The drain was completely clear from start to finish. A GREAT amount of peace of mind as this area has collected water and seeped into my basement in years past. However, now this flooding can NOT occur and every micron of my entire drain system in the house and yard are absolutely positively clear. Solving what I thought was an insurmountable problem was NOT THAT BAD! It's important to note that Drain Away Rooter's "CAN DO" attitude and willingness to listen to the customer made the difference between success and failure. It ended up not being difficult nor very expensive. It WAS highly effective. Thanks guys! I'd recommend them to ANYONE! Don't use the other fools! Drain Away Rooter solved the problem and in a friendly manner.

Energetic plumber dove right in to the job, He was not quite high-pressure, but did push for OK to do two other drains that were a bit slow, to the tune of $80 each. We did OK his doing one of those, the other seems really OK to us. Both drains are running well now, and it appears that the one he re-plumbed will be easier for me or a professional to snake in the future. It was a rainy day, and he tracked quite a bit of dirt into our house and left the bathrooms a bit messy--but it wasn't hard for us to clean that up.

It went great. Our drain line is unclogged.

FANTASTIC! Jake was the service guy who did the work. He was great, took suggestions, worked with me on strategy, gave me good advice where needed and listened to what I suggested as well. We accomplished way more than I had even hoped for, which added tremendously to my peace of mind coming into the next rainy season. Well well worth the $$. I'd GLADLY hire him, and them, again. He certainly deserves a raise, no matter how much he might be making now! Bravo!

It went perfectly. I used him the next time it plugged out again. He cut out the thing, and did a great job on it. I have used him twice.

Okay, so the last place we would ever expect to be blown away by customer service is with a plumbing company! We are not talking mildly impressed. We are talking floored. I am the skeptic. I do not trust people easily. However, after this experience I can say that I implicitly trust each and every member of this company. Every single person I interacted with was polite, informative, patient and honest. They never rushed me on a decision and Shane spent literally hours on the phone explaining and re-explaining what needed to be done and why. Fortunately we listened to their advice. If we had tried to cut corners to save costs we would have run into the exact problem they were concerned about. And Shannin3 was such a delight I hugged her when the project was done! The work was done quickly, professionally and was amazingly cost effectively considering the scope of what had to be done! Each member of the team was obviously dedicated to doing the job right. It was evident they took a great deal of pride in their work! The entire team worked tirelessly and amazingly, my yard actually looked better when they were done! I wish I could come up with enough superlatives to express what a surprise and delight it was to find that a company like this still exists! USE THIS COMPANY!
