DRAIN AWAY ROOTER

Description of Work: Andrew opened a very clogged drain in our bathroom sink. He called to let us know that a traffic problem would delay his arrival. Once Andrew got here it went really well. He helped me understand what was happening. (Much different than what I had imagined) And he got the problem fixed very quickly. He explained things as the job progressed. And advised me on what parts I needed to complete the job. (Our old P-trap needed replacing, a job that I wanted to do myself and that I completed that evening.) And unlike other plumbers they were upfront about their costs. It was a very positive experience to say the least! And the drain? Running better than it has in years! Thank you Drain Away & Andrew.

Description of Work: Unplugged my kitchen drain and cleaned up the mess.

Description of Work: Garbage started to back up in the kitchen sink, bathtub, washer. Ewww. They came out the same day and cleared all the pipes and clogs and suggested that I not use the disposal as much as I had been. No problems since. Very professional and explained everything to me.

Description of Work: Pretty straight forward process. Clogged bathtub so checked Angie's for for a good rating and close proximity. Found "Drain Away Rooter" and was told they could have someone out the same day a few hours later. Got a call within the two hour window they gave me and was told by Jake that he would be there in about 20 minutes. He showed up on time. Made quick work of it with a simple had crank snake sent down about three times. (I tried to do this myself but the snake I had had a small wire coil on the end and would not fit through the opening. Jake's snake did not and his fit right in. Pays to have the right tools.) Anyway, Jake was very personable, answered all my questions and got things flowing again (big hair ball, if you were wondering). I would call Drain Away Rooter again.

Description of Work: I had a toilet that was clogged for over a week. I finally decided to call a plumber and called Black Cat Plumbing. I had never used them before but they had a good rating on Angie's List. They told me they didn't handle this type of plumbing problem and referred me to Drain Away Rooter. I called Drain Away and made an appointment for the same day between 3 and 5 pm. What I didn't know was that Drain Away works 24/7. At 5 pm their plumber still hadn't arrived so I called and was told that he was still working on a previous job that had taken longer than expected but that he would definitely be there that evening, no matter how late it might be. I was grateful as I assumed that they would tell me I would have to be rescheduled to the next day. Jake showed up around 6:15 or so and had a huge auger-type tool that cleared the drain in just a few minutes. He explained to me how plumbing works in a toilet and how toilet paper can clog it up to the point that I couldn't plung it away. He also answered a few other questions I had about plumbing issues. He was very helpful and I was overjoyed that my daily "plunging exercises" were over. I marked the price a B rating because $90 is their flat rate for this type of plumbing problem and it only took Jake less than 5 minutes to clear the clog. That being said, after a week of plunging I was happy to pay the $90. I highly recommend Drain Away.

Description of Work: It was over Memorial Day weekend and the toilet, tub and kitcen sink were backing up. Travis showed up right on time and began to assess the situation. He cleared all the drains, however, there was still a concern the septic tank was not working correctly. He also suggested a new toilet as our 1957 model was not in the best working order. To save us money he provided instutions on installation a toile and a recommendation on the brand which had the least amount of repairs. This is the second time I used Drain Away Rooter and I will use their services again.
