While they were here, they also did a check of my water-heater and found that one of the settings was higher than the other -- they promptly took care of all problems in a very short amount of time. They did a great job at a great price. I definitely got my money's worth. Their name and number is absolutely going on my "to call list."

Nice people. However, the price seemed steep to replace a faucet and the pipes below.

Five year old gas hot water heater kept shutting off. Rheem Mfg. said parts were unavailable. Plumber even called Rheem to discuss issue Peterson responded the same day I called and had the new water heater installed in a couple of days. Appreciated the quick response and guidance/recommendations. They even coordinated electrical work to accommodate new heater.

It went wonderfully! They arrived exactly when they said they would, were professional, polite, and friendly. I will definitely be using their services again. I recommend Mary and Alex, they were awesome!

The whole town / region had a terrible freeze. Petersen's came and quickly resolved the broken pipe. . . though I was on a waiting list, Mrs. Petersen was very kind and kept communicating with me. I will definitely call them for my plumbing needs.

They were very quick and in my opinion the invoice they sent me was more than fair...... Super Happy.... and would use them again no doubt!!!

Mare-the-Plumber is the best! Basement floor drain backed up during September storms. Washer was then also backing up. First visit, snaked and then sent camera but could not find the problem. Offered some options but decided to do least invasive for starters and see if it continued or was solved. Then called again when raw sewage started backing up. Prompt response. Did power cleaning of entire drain to city connection. Has not been a problem since. Mare is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and great in creative in problem solving. Just wish she did more than plumbing... I'd love to have her for all repairs.

First occasion: Cleaned the waste pipes. Second occasion: unplugged toilet.

We live in Seattle and have gone through 3 house remodels so we work with plumbers a lot. I can say without hesitation Petersen Plumbing was the best plumbing company that we have ever worked with. We completed a "long distance" remodel which required 4 long weekends to complete. Twice, Peterson was able to get us immediate weekend help to fix last minute problems that arose on a Saturday and a Sunday. The men were punctual and clean and efficient. Most of all they were the most pleasant group of guys I have worked with. We installed a cast iron Kohler tub weighing north of 300 lbs. The Petersen crew helped me to get it upstairs in positioned correctly without any wall or floor damage. (technically not their job to help me get the tub upstairs and in place) There was a pipe that required moving and the lead man had the drywall opened up and fixed the pipe and reinstalled with the drywall in about 10 minutes. He even hid the drywall entry within a cabinet recess even thought it made his work a bit tougher. When we sold our condo following the remodel, the inspection report stated "the tub was installed incorrectly". The owner came out that same day and checked ALL the work done by their folks and it was perfect. The owner personally checked all the new connections himself. It turned out the inspection report had a typo and should have read, "the tub and sinks were installed "CORRECTLY" with working overflow drains in contrast to the prior report that the old tub overflow was NOT working correctly. If I could give these guys and A+++ I would.

I had a clogged drain but it turned out to be more than that and was more than I was expecting but with a older house and slab foundation it happens

Very Disappointed: During the recent winter storm many plumbers were busy. We already had an existing appointment scheduled for Friday 12/06/2013 from 12-2 pm. The storm hit the area the same day our appointment was scheduled. The job was to install two toilets in separate bathrooms (we provided) and repair a bathroom drain. No one ever called us for anything. We were unsure if the appointment would still be held & no one called us on 12/06/13 so we called the office instead at 2:00 pm. The receptionist was frantic & VERY overwhelmed and inexperienced. We understand this was an adverse situation, however would have been more professional to receive a phone call to let us know the status. ~Rescheduled appointment for Monday 12/09/2013 from 12-2. No one showed up, no one called. ~We phoned the office. Same receptionist, same disorganized and overwhelmed. She explained there was a stack of 300 tickets on her desk and she would put ours at the top of the stack. ~Rescheduled appointment for Tuesday12/10/2013 from 12-2. No one showed up, and no one called. ~For the third time, we phoned (note: not once did the business ever phone us). Same receptionist, same story of the 300 tickets stacked on her desk. She apologized and thanked me for my patience. ~Rescheduled appointment for Wednesday 12/11/2013 from 12-2. I asked if this was for real this time, she said yes. I said I would be home by 12:30 pm, would that be ok. She said yes. I was home by 12:30 pm however, once again no one called or showed up. To this day, no one has ever called us. I will never call Peterson plumbing again. Update: We understand during the recent storms, many plumbers were VERY busy handling emergency situations and customers without water. We understand the conditions plumbers are asked to work, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate. Our primary concern was there was not better communication letting us know the service would not be performed as expected and/or when to expect service. We finally did get our work completed on 12/17/2013. Marybeth and Alex were very friendly, professional and prompt and we had a great time visiting with them both. The office staff were very understanding of our situation and helpful. I would recommend Peterson Plumbing and will call them again.

I wanted to update the powder room with a new pedestal sink only to find out that the plumbing/water lines would have to be moved over so the pedestal would line up correctly with the plumbing coming out of the wall. Petersen Plumbing was great about working around my schedule. They are professional and very good at what they do. I have had no problems at all with the work they performed.

Excellent response time. I called around 11 am and they said they could have someone here between 12-2 same day. Dustin arrived just before 1 pm. He inspected leak and deduced it was the p-trap that was leaking. I had him go ahead and replace the disposal because I've had problems with it in the past and it's over 20 years old. He replaced disposal and trap in a little over an hour. I had to pay a mileage fee because I live out in the boonies, which is normal for all contractors who come out here. In town this would probably have been around $220. Dustin was great; very professional, knew what he was doing and left everything clean and ready to go. I will definitely use them again for any plumbing needs and have already sent them a referral.

Petersen was the 3rd of 3 quotes we received and the one we decided to go with, largely on the basis of experience working in high grade yards (which ours is). The initial job was estimated to be 2 days, but they came early, worked diligently, finished late on the 1st day. From my initial inquiry and call, which had an on-site visit that same day, to the ease of scheduling the work, reconfirming it, and then following up after it was all done, everything was seamless. I appreciated greatly that the initial consultation had a frank conversation about what could go wrong once the line was dug up, and in fact we discovered some of those conditions. (We actually discovered why we were having issues with our exterior gutter drain lines as well when the dirt was dug, and that was a surprise, but not one I would have imagined we could have discussed early.) Bottom line was work was done impeccably, the back was regarded and restored, and the bill was just as imagined -- save those gutters!

The serviceman ordered and brought out a new toilet (ours was old fashioned and a kid dropped something and broke the back . asked for a water efficient model. He brought one that is indeed that. It is an Australian model that has buttons on the top rather than a handle to flush. I like it fairly well. Looking back I wish I had asked more questions about the model. It is large for the space and saving water means not always flushing all contents away at times. Overall, the service was excellent ... Just should have taken more time to learn about the products.

We were very pleased with the work the first time around and called again when the kitchen faucet proved to be too extensive and awkward to install ourselves.

I called and within an hour someone was on the way. My husband was out of town but Dustin was willing to chat with him on the phone to discuss the problem. He didn't want to dig without having someone come out and find the leak and mark electrical and cable wires in the area. After some discussion we decided that he would attempt to dig a little bit in the area and see if he could find the leak, After some digging and pumping of water out of the hole, he found a broken regulator valve, fixed it and was gone less than 2 hours after arriving at my door! Great service and great price!

We have used them several times and they are excellent. They technicians they send are really good. They are not the cheapest in town but they are definitely the best.

Plumber came out the same day, diagnosed the problem, provided an immediate fix, wrote down details in the event that further service on the unit might be required.

Everything went as planned, there were no problems. My friend said the price was fair.

They did a good job. They also checked under the kitchen sink, and gave me some advice, and didn’t pressure me.

We attempted to fix an outdoor faucet. In the process of trying to remove the old faucet, It broke off at the threading inside the other pipe. The piping beyond it was really old but the plumber came on a Saturday within hours of my call. She had all the right tools and knew what she was doing. She stuck that tool in their, gave it a twist and it came right out. She had it done in less than 5 minutes and then offered to add an extension so that we didn't have to bend down every time we wanted to use it. We had planned on doing this ourselves but if we screwed it up again, that would have been an extra visit charge, so I accepted her kind offer. I appreciate her honesty and willingness to offer me extra service during a single visit charge. I will definitely call Peterson Plumbing again in the future.

We noticed the water temperature in our home fluctuating wildly from day to day. Then one day, we had no hot water. We called Peterson plumbing to lok at the water heater. Turns out the thermostat had gone bad. The service person was very good about explaining exactly what had happened. He took the time to show me how to remedy the problem myself should it ever happen again, pointing out precautions and standard procedures related to replacing and operating a thermostat. Service was prompt. He showed up the day I called. The new thermostat was replaced within 30 minutes and we were up and running.
