It went fine.

I had a great deal of difficulty tracking where the leak came from and it had already started to do damage to the wall. Finally, I was able to narrow it down to the toilet. The origin of the leak wasn't obvious. With a good deal of trepidation I called for a plumber because I was stumped. Greg from Austin 1-Stop Plumbing arrived and set right to work. He had to remove the toilet, clear a clog, fix the leak at the drain and break into the tiled wall to fix the leak in the water intake pipe. I had three problems! It was quite an operation, for which he called his wife in to help with the tile replacement. I was impressed with how quickly he worked. He had to make a lot of repairs and was able to fix the multiple issues, plus install a new toilet in the kid's bathroom in 3 hours. He was very friendly and informative throughout the process. I would definitely call him again.

The same person has come out to do the work every time I have used this company. He was at my house for about an hour for this trip. In the past, they also installed 3 new faucet heads for my outside water faucet and they also did a good job on that too.

When I called them, we did not discuss how much it would be so when the guy showed up, he told me that they were going to charge me an extra 50 dollars for a mileage fee. I didn't understand so I was pretty unhappy with that part of it. Otherwise, the plumber did a good job and fixed my toilet fast.

The plumber was courteous & appeared knowledgeable. Since, I had to go as he was finishing the connections, he left the bill with my wife. There were several oddities. 1st, labor: 3 hrs @ $99.50/hr=308.50! 2nd, He charged for 2 pieces of copper flex pipe (24" @ $19.95 & 18" @ $16.95), earthquake strap @$22 ($12 elsewhere), and a "shark bite" @ $12. This was a replacement for an existing unit, so all the piping was there (and I provided another 18" piece just in case). He either used my piping (& the spare) & charged me for it, or replaced perfectly good piping & took mine. I called & they refunded the labor error, but said my pipes were either rusty (copper!) or had holes (not). I asked for a refund or return on the piping, but they only said they'd give me some other used pipe & that he had undercharged for the heater. This was a straightforward job, and shouldn't have taken 3 hrs, either. Lots of time in the truck :-(

We needed a few minor repairs done quickly because we were selling the house. Austin was the plumbing company with the shortest time frame. They came out within the promised time window, and the office called in advance to let me know they were on their way. The guys worked quickly and efficiently and did the repairs in just under one hour, a perfect fit with the one-hour minimum charge.

The work went very well. Leak stopped and preventative maintenance for future leaks completed in short time. Total time on job was 2.5 hours and material costs were only $57. He tested everything, even fixed low pressure on my sink faucet. I'd call them again if I need a pro. They know old houses and do quick work for a price that was lower than I expected to pay.

I called the number in the paper and scheduled a date four days in the future. We were pleased that we were able to schedule an early evening time to accommodate our schedules. The contractor contacted me before coming over; he came in, assessed the situations, worked through them all and did an excellent job. He explained everything as he went and the cost was very reasonable.
