Description of Work: Moir installed a bay window in our bedroom. They did a great job at a reasonable price. This is the 4th time they have done work for us. They do excellent work in a timely fashion. No complaints, highly recommend.

Description of Work: Moir did a bathroom remodel and tiled the floor in the laundry room. The process went very well. They showed up on time daily, kept the work areas very clean and kept me informed on the progress. The bathroom turned out great - excellent tile work and overall workmanship.

Description of Work: Moir Const. came in 2nd on our bid list, and not by much.My wife felt more comfortable with the other contractor but their estimates were about the same. I would use Moir for any future projects.

Description of Work: Moir Construction did a remodel of our master bathroom and bedroom 1/12-3/12 and a remodel of a stairwell and upstairs hallway, 6/12. We had 3 estimates and we chose Moir because of price, prior personal experience, and favorable comments from friends. Gare was the primary person working on our house. He was always on time, if he was going to be delayed he would give us a call. He always cleaned up at the end of the day. I described how I wanted the built-ins in our master closet. Gare made drawings and wrote descriptions on a piece of paper, and took some measurements. What he built in our closet was even better than what I had imagined. The bathroom was completely gutted, a leak from outside the house was found and repaired. Extensive tile work was done on the floor and the shower stall was tiled from floor to ceiling. We had a clear glass panel and door installed in the shower stall. The only problem we had was with the glass company, not Moir Construction. It took 3-4 weeks for them to order and install the glass. After 2 months the glass door began to sag. My wife called David Moir and he sent Gare out to our house and met with a person from the glass company to ensure the door was rehung properly. And it was. David was always available, via phone, text, or e-mail and never failed to return our calls. At the end of both projects David would make sure we were satisfied with the work that was done before sending us the final bill. Gare even threw the tennis ball for our Golden retriever. The best recommendation I can give is that we will be using Moir Construction for future projects.

Description of Work: Moir Construction did a total makeover of both my bathrooms. It is all tiled and walk-in glass shower.

Description of Work: Bathroom remodel involving removing and replacing tub and shower, flooring, and bathroom vanity, building and installing new cabinets, and painting walls and trim. Some plumbing and electrical work.

Description of Work: Moir Construction gave me a bid for a kitchen remodel.

Description of Work: Moir has done two jobs for me after doing some remodeling for previous owner 1. Rebuilt outdoor stairs to deck...did a good job, I felt he was reasonably priced. 2. Remodeled a second bath for me, after doing the Master Bath for previous owner. I was very satisfied and will call them again for residential remodeling work. They do some of their own work and sub some specialty work out.

Description of Work: Removal of existing lavatory vanity cabinetry top and save for re-installation. Removal of the existing tub and surrounding down to the studs. Installation of blocking in walls to accept grab bars across the back wall and down the adjacent wall at the entry. Provided a plumbing sub and materials, install a Moen Posi-Temp shower valve with chrome trim, a Lasco, white 60" 3-piece knock down shower stall, and a hand-held adjustable rod mounted shower head of owner's choice. Sheet rock around the new shower unit and texture to match the existing. Prime where needed and paint entire bathroom in owner's choice of one (1) color using Benjamin Moore latex primer and paint or their equivalent. Clean up and dispose of all debris created by construction.

Description of Work: This review covers two separate jobs Moir did for us. In 2003, Moir Construction installed a bay window in our kitchen. The work entailed; remove existing three section window in kitchen and replace with bay window, modify upper header to accept blinds. This work was done by a carpenter named "Gare." We were so impressed with the quality of his work, his professionalism and problem solving ability that when we had further work to be done, we again hired Moir as long as Gare did the work. Cost-$4103 including all materials and work. The second job Moir did for us was to purchase and install 700 square feet of WilsonArt "Pecan Oak" laminate flooring and reinstall base. This included WilsonArt "Quiet Walk" cushion pad and replacement of all base that owner has repainted. Cost - $7918.

Description of Work: I had a kitchen window removed. The serviceman replaced it with a 3 panel pop out window with the 2 panels on each side angling at 30 degrees. With the type of window, there was minimal roofing which needed to be done directly above the window.
