Description of Work: Rebuilt large deck and replaced steps. After 1 year, we had to go back and provide additional support. Deck flooring was popping up and under deck supports were loose and additional rot was found. The steps were not constructed correctly and cement/rocks were not tamped properly. Not have standing water after a rain and mildew. Hate to write bad reviews but I can't ignore this quality of work.

Description of Work: These guys were great. They responded to our initial communication promptly, came by promptly thereafter to evaluate the situation, and a couple days later we received the written information about costs, etc. The initial start date was about 6 weeks, but they found a way to squeeze us in earlier, which really helped. The work they performed was great, and they even went beyond the call of duty (i.e., in repairing a fence, they replaced other weakened parts of the fence without any additional charge). I definitely will be contacting them again for future work on our house, and consider them the "go to" handymen.

Description of Work: They replaced boards and some unstable parts of my deck, replaced some rotted wood in the bench and strengthened it, and then painted the whole thing.

Description of Work: Hope to use this company in the future. Another bid was accepted by my advisors ONLY because there is a difficult neighbor to deal with and they felt a large company would be best for this particular job. Everything with the bid and conversations involved were outstanding. I will send a thank you letter and ask them to consider working for me at another time.

Description of Work: Did various jobs for me, like new door in family room, built a ramp for me in garage, hung a privacy screen outside on fence, installed new outside security light, put in new toilet and floor in bathroom and had to put in a new floor where old toilet set and put in new pipes, did an excellent job. These, fellows are very easy to have around and enjoyed them very much! Ken and Fred were so Friendly and we enjoyed a cup of coffee together, Wish, I could afford to have them more often. I will have them back when needed, as I accumulate jobs that need to be done!

Description of Work: Painted a fireplace wall, planted a small tree, hung outside lights, hung outside shade, It went very well, they were polite and very helpful and knowledgeable about the required tasks.

Description of Work: Ken and Fred remodeled a bathroom. They put in a garden window and tiled the shower areas.

Description of Work: Repair deck and repaint. Fix stairs and paint. Looks like new now.

Description of Work: My deck support posts were rotting. They did a great job fixing (replacing) the damage. They were very responsive to my concerns and budget. They are excellent communicators and kept me appraised and involved in all decisions.They also replaced some steps, separate from the deck, that were rotting. They came up with alternatives that were less expensive with an even a longer life span.They were so easy to work with. I will use them again-and again!!

Description of Work: Replaced, painted fascia boards on our 2 story home.

Description of Work: Budget Builders resurfaced our existing deck, and poured new more solid footings for it. They reinforced the beams that hold the deck up with cross bracing, and replaced the railing. The staff was prompt and cheerful. The finished product looks wonderful. The owner was great to work with: very professional, provided a detailed quote, double checked on details to make sure we had them right before we began. They were right on budget, and even finished early. My only minor complaint was that the workers were loud, beyond the expected construction noise. But they were only there for 2 days ans otherwise we are 100% pleased with the work.
