Fred and his crew were nothing less than completely professional and highly skilled. I asked Fred to do two shower upgrades to my 1966 home, one was a tub to a shower buildout and the other was a plastic insert to a nice tile and rock shower. There was pretty bad rot damage in the plastic insert shower but Fred and his crew took care of the situation with no issues. Ultimately the wife and I changed our minds on a few things and asked Fred and his crew to do more then was originally asked for, they rolled with the added work and completed the work efficiently and to an extremely high level. I could go on and on but I think the proof is in the pudding as I am asking Frederick James Construction to rebuild my deck, along with a few other projects. Frederick James Construction the Best is the Business as far as I am concerned!

It went very smoothly. Fred was in contact, and he explained everything that needed to be done very clearly. And when there was anything more that needed to be done than what was on the estimate, he explained it to me before he did it. He was very professional. They knew what they were doing. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs to rehab their old house. The prices were very reasonable for the work that they did.

Fred and his crew are exceptional. Excellent, detailed remodel on our bathroom with experience, dedication and expertise. Several issues were found when Fred opened the wall. The previous owner had run wiring and plumbing in a manner not complying with current standards. Also had to cut concrete floor to put in drain. Fred did an excellent job of overcoming these issues and getting my shower installed and also completed a closet for me.

It went very well overall with the typical issues that come up during a remodel. The important thing is they always did the right thing when a problem came up.

Fred and his crew were fantastic. I would recommend them and I have! Are they perfect? No...but who is? Even if they goofed, they went above and beyond to make it right. The result speaks for itself. I am very happy with my new bathroom!

Fred and his team did a wonderful job. The workmanship is top notch. Our bathrooms are beautiful in addition to the other work they performed. We kept adding projects to the original list and they did their best to accomplish these projects in a timely manner. Have more remodel projects on the "to do" list and will be using them again. We feel we made an excellent choice selecting them!

We have a long standing relationship with Fredrick James Construction. We have worked with this company for over 10 years. They have replaced flooring for us and have done numerous home improvement projects. Our most recent project was the re-siding of our home. We had Fredrick James Construction remove our old vinyl siding, and re-side our home with Hardy Plank. We also had them replace 10 dated vinyl windows and replace them with 10 new, vinyl windows. The house looks amazing. Everyone on the crew is polite and very skilled. As with all remodel projects, some unexpected 'surprises' arose, but as usual, Fred and his crew knew exactly how to address the problem and everything turned out wonderfully. What I appreciate about Fredrick James Construction is that each of the workers are respectful, skilled and work hard to finish the project in a timely manner. Fred and crew built me a top quality fence, on estimate and exactly to my specifications. This was my first time using Frederick James Construction, and I am quite pleased with the quality of materials and construction. He takes pride in his work and it's the best fence I've ever had. Fred was able to save the day! The flooring was only 5 years old and had been installed incorrectly over a damp area where a dishwasher had previously leaked. The floor was delaminating causing bubbles and ridges in the area by the sink but the surface of the vinyl was still basically new and good everywhere else in the kitchen. Very frustrating. I needed a cost effective solution for my rental a.s.a.p. for my new tenant. Fred was able to repair the area that was causing the problems without having to totally clad the entire floor with new plywood as Home Depot was recommending (at three times the cost of new vinyl) and would necessitate buying all new vinyl. Fred matched the pattern with my saved excess vinyl exactly so that the difference in the replaced vs original vinyl was basically imperceptible. He worked tirelessly to get it right and get it done fast. That's why I always go back to him to fix what needs fixing and do what needs doing right! Thank you Fred!

We knew that getting our kitchen redone would be a process that would include people in and out of our house, Fred James Construction and crew are considerable, communicative, efficient, and their work is impeccable. Crews arrived around 9 am as promised. All needed equipment (table saw, spray painter, ladders, painting prep supplies, and tools) were brought to the job at onset. Job ran over two days, and they cleaned up at the end of each day, removing trash and neatly storing some tools overnight after getting permission to use my garage. They were considerate of my home, and did a thoughtful and careful job. These guys demonstrated skill and integrity. My change orders in addition to the estimate given were fairly priced. A small mess was fixed. All Good.

This was a small job, 2 + hrs., but Fred worked it into his schedule and the job was well done. Now the deck"s water runoff is no longer a problem. I will call Fred again for any more work needed. The price was competitive and completed in a quality manner.

Fred came in and was able to help me identify what all needed to be done and provide a detailed, fairly priced bid for the work. Fred and his team did high quality work with little supervision and went above and beyond to coordinate with roofers, electricians, etc to keep things running smoothly.
