Description of Work: Service provider responded the following day and an electrician arrived quickly. He rewired my garage and brought it up to code. This was a two car garage with both a freezer and small frig. There had been extension cords from all outlets. The garage is a lot neater and far safer than previously.

Description of Work: Not impressed with Angie's list. Please remove me. The first person I called never called back. And Doug Palmer showed up as if he had no idea what was expected of him. He didn't listen to my instructions and he installed the wrong dimmer switch for my chandelier.

Description of Work: Our downstairs bathroom exhaust fan stopped working. I called Palmer Electric and they scheduled a visit to look at it for Friday at 0830h. No one showed up by 0930h so I gave them a call. The lady in charge of scheduling seemed confused about the appointment (the only reason I gave them a B for punctuality) but was quick to reschedule Dan, the technician who finally came, for 1000h the same day. Dan quickly identified the problem as a faulty switch. He went out to purchase one and returned to install it. The color match on the timing switch plate was off (tan instead of white), but he said he would return on Monday with a matching one, which he did. All in all a very satisfactory conclusion.

Description of Work: They repaired wiring to a light fixture, replaced a switch/outlet unit, and replaced a faulty motion sensor lighting system unit. The technician was very friendly and informative and the repairs were done quickly and "alls good" now. I have used these guys several times and I couldn't be more pleased with them.

Description of Work: I had all my facility outside lamps out, and could not safely keep them off a few days. Made several calls in the area, no one could make in any earlier than 4 days away. Doug Palmer Electric found they had someone in the area, and they were here in less than an hour. Was not a big problem, but they got my lights up and working.
