DaBella - Eugene

Chris from Eugene was great. He answered all my questions and took the time to get to know my needs and wants. I would recommend talking with him if you need a walk in shower.

Badly. To start: on their website, DaBella stated that a salesman would visit, review the site, talk with us and give an estimate, about a 60 - 90 minute presentation. Our salesman took about 3-1/2 hours. I was impressed with his detailed description of the roofing process and the U.S.-made GAF products that would be used. He, and all the DaBella literature, sated that GAF “Factory Trained Installers” would be employed for the job - all of them. He did not explain that DaBella is not a roofing installation contractor - they subcontract out the actual physical work. The homeowner does not know who will be hired for this work, thus can not review their qualifications. When the first roofing crew showed up I asked if they were all GAF certified. The foreman said yes, they were. Soon thereafter, I overheard one crew member correcting another and queried the foreman. He admitted that this was only the 2nd day for one of the crew and that not all of them were GAF certified. Initially the foreman stated that they would complete the entire project that same day. They worked about 5 hours then left, complaining that they were given insufficient supplies. Four days later they claimed to be done. We inspected the roof. Old, rusted flashing around our skylights and chimney had not been replaced as promised by the DaBella salesman. A skylight had a new crack in it. The roofing foreman did not inform us of this. The DaBella representative did not inform us of this either, though he did say that the roofing foreman did inform him. We asked when he was told but he would not tell us. A few days after our complaint DaBella did arrange for a different roofer to replace the flashing around the skylights but not around the chimney. He was not GAF certified. We told DaBella that we would not pay the balance of the contracted charge until the job was completed as promised (literature from DaBella recommended this). We have waited over a week without a reply from DaBella. We have sent many emails with photos to DaBella over the extended course of this project. Their communication with us has been virtually nonexistent. This project has been very stressful to us. Great roofing products and warranty are useless with poor installation. DaBella is a LOUSY CONTRACTOR.

Had DaBella come give me an estimate and a free quote. The two gentlemen they sent out were named Marcus and Tim. Both of them were very respectful, thorough, and on time. DaBella is in good hands with these two.

Michael Jennings showed up exactly on time for our appointment. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He worked very hard to stay within the scope of what we needed and I will be very anxiously waiting for the install of my new shower!

Chris helped us get the project all set up. He answered all of our questions and handled everything professionally. Travis and Victor came to do the install and drove through freezing rain and snow to get to our project on time. They were incredibly efficient, did high quality work, checked in with us to confirm choices we had made about the install, AND they cleaned up after themselves. AMAZING all around!

Bishop and Caleb were very nice and very easy to understand. They did a full inspection on our roof and our attic. They were able to give us a great quote. We would definitely do business with them again. I highly recommend them.

Jared and Levi were great, informative, and professional. Taking the time to go over everything with us they surveyed, and with what work should be done. We made a down payment for work to be done and will leave another review on the work done when it's finished. Extremely happy with the quality of people this company has employed so far. 25% down payment was paid and rest do at finish.
