(PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW)(DABELLA IS A CHEESY USED CAR SALESMAN SELLING A GEO METRO AND TELLING YOU IT’S A CORVETTE) This company is a total scam scaring you into products and services with Doom and Gloom that aren’t necessary at a VERY VERY STEEP HIKE. Starting off im a project manager with a bum shoulder for a power company. A roof is an investment and with any investment you need to do your research and do a “hot wash” of contractors, quality and materials. If the job was smaller id do it myself but I did extensive research on all the major products and add ons that could possibly be for my personal home. DaBella Exteriors was 1 of the 5 contracting firms I went through for quotes to get a good est of quotes so I could look over the itemized receipts and see what each would charge for things such as; Labor, Base materials, add on sect. When the rep showed up for Dabella he came nicely dressed and well prepared with his sales pitch. He started by crawling up on my roof and he used a satellite image of my home to calculate surface area and “squares” for my home. Then into the attic to check for leaks and writing notes for add-ons or “upsells”. After that he went straight into his 3 ring binder and started his sales pitch. I really tried to stay positive and see exactly what he had to say. Below is what my assessment is of Dabella Exteriors. I already knew the warranty and the products he was selling. Most of what he said about the products are true and some are very very wrong. This includes him telling me about the tiger paw underlayment is WATER PROOF and even showed me documentation but right on the GAF website you can see its NOT but is water resistant. Also synthetic underlayment is not necessary for architectural shingles but is under metal or natural materials. The benefits for synthetic under GAF shingles are just an upsell but do stay in their GAF system. Some of the other materials and upsells were also untrue. Dabella also would not give me an actual itemized quote but did have a few line items and discounts. The discounts are a $500 veteran discount, another if I put their sign in my yard and last is if I give them a positive review. Dabella uses biased reviews. If you want the true blue reviews from them you need to look at Yelp and not Angies list or the BBB (Better business bureau). They give 1200 to 1500 worth of rebates if you do a Pre and a Post construction review (Sounds like a good deal but read my next point). This gives them a very biased review. It forced consumers who are gouged by price hikes to scramble for any discount they can muster. If you do your research on them you can see reviews for shoddy craftsmanship, poor customer service and a laundry list of other poo marks. Dabella used a satellite imagery to map the surface area of my home. This is a great way to may flat surfaces but not roofs which have a pitch. I was told I had a 36 “square” roof. The other 5 contractors say between 32 to 34. Doesn’t seem like a huge deal but once you look at the fact DaBella is charging $700 per square! So keep in mind this is 1 of the 5 contractors I got quotes from. After telling each contractor I wanted a 50 year shingle, Mid-grade with alge resistance and a closed valley roof with a high grade felt underlayment. I got a range of 8k to 15k quotes from 2 of the highest reviewed large companies, 2 smaller but highly reviewed firms and then Dabella. Dabella quoted me $25k! that’s almost 3 times higher than the any other company. Also the other companies gave me a price breakdown (which Dabella doesn’t) telling you where the money is going (Materials, tear off/lay down Labor, upgraded materials and of course upsells). In conclusion if you do go with Dabella you will be plyed to leave a good review or they will charge you a $1500 if you actually leave an honest review. The materials they sell are good materials but the facts the sales reps will tell you are not honest. You will be charged twice as much as you should be charged with no better quality in workmanship. And finally if you do go with Dabella im selling a brand new Corvette with flame stickers that increase the horsepower and saves on gas!

Presentation today 10/19/16 by Travis and Justin. It was a fantastic presentation. They explained everything in detail. Explained about the great company they work for Dabella and its beginning. Decide to go go with them to do the roofing replacement.

We are reviewing our finances, now that we realize that the $6,000 we budgeted will not buy a quality roof replacement.

I didn't hire them regretfully: I could not get a loan ... but Justin Teacutter was so very helpful, , and professional.... If anyone asks me to recommend a Roofing company ....I would let them know about DaBella's....

Their crew was awesome. Showed as expected and banged it out in one day! Cleaned up around the outside very nicely. Few nails were left behind but that seems like the norm. The crew was professional and very courteous. Roof looks incredible and we are very satisfied.

It went well the guys were very informative we loved the color that matched our house as well as the quality, was surprized it wasnt the flimsy stuff we had viewed in the past It was definitely thicker and well insulated. Our house was built in the 40tys so we wern't sure whether it had asbestos so since we couldnt take siding off ourselves will have to wait till we can get a crew. But definitely will contact them in the future.

The appointment went well. We weren't expecting to do the project right away because we hadn't really been thinking about it until he knocked on our door...The products were pretty impressive and as much as I did love the products we just couldn't move forward without doing our due diligence. We will be collecting 3 more bids before we make our decision, and if Dabella is within reason of the other companies we will go with the quality that they have to offer.

Pretty good. Inspection went great. Just waiting to put roof on. Excited.

Our roofing project is set to start in a few short weeks and we can't be more excited to have DaBella handling this project.

Our salesman was very nice and trustworthy. He was also very knowledgeable about the product s and helped us get the appropriate roof for the best price. The company was also very efficient and was able to start construction on a short time line.

I WILL NEVER HAVE THIS COMPANY DO ANY WORK ON MY HOME EVER! I decide how I will pay not them!

Financing was a little iffy...told us what percentages we were applying for, but came back a couple points higher. Some of the details were a little different once the windows were installed: we were told anything over a certain height had to have 2 latches, however ours all came with only 1. Even though they took measurements and preferences some of the details seemed to have not been understood by the contracted company. Once the job was complete we had received a phone call saying we owed them more money...obviously a mistake which was cleared up, but shouldn't have happened in the first place. Overall very friendly and professional and really fast at responding to any calls or questions we had. Unfortunate I wont rate them higher because of the company they used. All things settled...the windows are doing their job, any payment discrepancies were dealt with and they were sure to call and check in with us on multiple occasions.

My mom said & believes that God sent the sales gentleman & the company, and the representative Scott. Cause we definately needed a new face to our house, starting with the roof. Two days to put the roof on. Congenial and happy crew. They replaced rotting material and it looks so much better. I truely believe that it will last much longer than the 50yr/lifetime warrenty.

Wow we did not know about the other leaks he show us from his camera. There were more issues than I knew about. Scott explained that our bath fan tubes had broken and were just lying on the insulation. After we understood that we have been blowing our bath moisture into the attic, we know we needed to get these connected again. DaBella Exteriors must really train their reps what to look for, Scott was aware of the problems and the solutions to keep our home protected. Nancy and I are old 93 and 92. Yet we want to leave our home in good repair when our time comes and we or our children sell our home. Scott took the time to share with us the whole process of replacing a roof the right way. I have seen many in our neighborhood doing their roofs. Even though our roof is original from 1991 we have had our share of problems over the past few years. If I were back in my 60's I would do it my self. Yet Nancy would rather I did not. We are waiting for the crews to come out and do the roof. I know the price was more than I thought before DaBella came out. Yet the last time I did a roof was a long time ago. Maybe like 1970's or 60's. I knew will we be satisfied as long as they follow the GAF system Scott showed us. First off they will never compromise their work by doing a second layer of roof. Scott took pictures of the rotting wood and leaks from the attic. He said he will always look there so he knows what's going on and how much wood sheeting needs to be replaced. Next the leak barrier and underpayment that will help the wood breath so it does not rot and mold. I want to do it right that is why I was willing to pay a little more for my roof than my neighbors had said they had paid. The warranty will transfer full value and keep my house value higher. That will be good for my kids , when they sell our house. We will share more as the work gets finished. Darrell

The initial salesperson spent several hours with us explaining the benefits of Preservation high performance siding. He walked around our home and showed us problem areas (dry rot and suspected dry rot). He measured everything, counted doors, windows, electrical and water outlets, etc., and noted areas that might be challenging. He listened to me as I pointed out my concerns and addressed them all. There was some pressure with the sales pitch (like all sales pitches) so I focused more on the value and benefits and less on the push to sign up right now. We were concerned with the cost. We are self-employed and have a small business. Banks and other financial institutions tend to treat the small self-employed business owners like they are deadbeat criminals with the plague. Fortunately DaBella was able to secure financing for us which made this home improvement possible. The contractor came by a week or so later. Everything was measured and checked again. He made sketches, took pictures, and went over our choice of siding and trim. I had many questions (how can this be handled, what about this, what about that, etc) He explained how each of my concerns would be handled. I said that I did not want to start the job until at least mid-April (this was about March 1). That was the only time I saw the contractor. I received several calls after that wanting to know if the job could be started now. After the 3rd attempt I again emphasized that mid-April was as soon as they could start. The job started around April 17th and was finished on April 30th. The workers (sub-contractors) who actually did the work were the ones who had to deal with the "challenges". They informed me of the "oddities" and presented me with workable options and solutions. The previous owner of our house (1969 to 2003) had added additions and expanded the house and from what I can tell, had a poor understanding of tape measures, squares, and quality workmanship. The sub contractors did a good job of overcoming these issues, and this took some extra effort and time. They worked hard and were respectful of our yard and flowerbeds. Overall we are very pleased with the results. Our home has never looked better. I am looking forward to see if there will be any savings in our energy bills. My only complaint is minor, and it involves the final cleanup. The "sawdust" (vinyldust?), needed to be vacuumed up rather than swept up. The vinyl dust sticks to the siding (static?), and to sidewalks, deck, and driveways. From there it is tracked inside and sticks to the pets fur, which falls off once they come inside. Now it will come down to me cleaning the dust off the siding, decks, etc. The original sales person came by about a week after the job was complete. We did a walk around evaluation and I expressed to him the less than OK final cleanup. He agreed with me, and said he would take my feedback to his superiors so they could work on making sure this was not an issue in the future. If you are considering vinyl siding, here are somethings I would recommend before the job begins: Have everything that is not going to be covered with vinyl painted FIRST. I should have done that over the summer, and then have the siding put on afterwards. (Time constraints made that not work for us) That would have saved me a lot of labor with masking...a lot of time! and labor. If you have a deck, walkway, etc. that needs or will need replacing soon, do it first. The siding projects out about 1.75" from the original house siding, and now the first row of screws are covered by the siding . This is going to make removing the deck much harder when the time comes for replacement.. In general, do as much planning ahead as possible and be prepared for the unexpected. Don't be afraid to ask questions and make sure your concerns are met before you move forward.

Ron looked our home over and done some measurements ,then we talked about all our options and he was real comfortable talking to , and totally answered all the questions we had. We love the product and I'm so excited to get my new siding . We had many colors to choose from as well !

It was very good. I am very satisfied. They did an excellent job on the roof and on the cleanup. The crews were very polite. I would do it all again the same way but I don't think I'll ever need a new roof. The inspector, Scott, did a very good inspection with lots of pictures from the top and from my attic. He showed my all the water leaks that were coming in that I didn't know I had. When he did his presentation with GAF it all made sense. DaBella does it with great quality and do it the right way the first time.

they were the fastest crew I ever saw. Those men were spectacular. they cleaned up their mess they were always so pleasant. They never messed around for a minute. They did not smoke or waste any time. I could not believe how fast they were. I would recommend them to anyone. If I ever have to have another roof put on I will go right back to dabella. Luckily this roof is guaranteed for 50 years so I don't think I will ever have to have another one.

We were contacted by a representative who came to our home and asked if we were interested in getting an estimate on a new roof. We agreed, Two representatives came to our home at the scheduled time and did a roof inspection, took some pictures and then met with us with their findings. They explained their product and the background of their company. The company uses the GAF roofing system and are certified by the company for their installation. While the cost of the roof was a lot of money we felt going with a top of the line product was the right choice for us. They guarantee their workmanship for 25 years and the product is guaranteed for 50 years. The job itself did take a couple days longer than expected but they were shorthanded due to illness. The workers did not bother us and cleaned up their work area prior to leaving each day, Everyone in the company was extremely professional and we love our new roof!!

I am a single woman on a fixed income. Matt Wright came down and showed me problems from the previous roofing install, pictures of mold in my attic. He laid out all of the options that DaBella offered. Kyle helped me with the financing and adjusted the payment to fit my budget. I look forward to the install, thank you so much. CM

The salesperson was very knowledgeable about the products. The contractors arrived at the appointed time and worked efficiently to complete the work during the allotted time period - even throughout a downpour of rain. The roof is a unique and efficient design, besides being very handsome. I think I have the best-looking roof in the neighborhood. Everyone in this company was always courteous and provided great customer service. They completed the job in a timely manner.
