CHEETAH PEST CONTROL

Well, after over a year of these monthly spraying, we got carpenter ants. The owner had been very nice on our initial contact, and though we weren't sure we needed monthly spraying year-round, they convinced us that that's what we needed. I never felt confident about how quickly and erratically the guy would wave his spray wand around when he came every month, but I assumed it was doing the job. When I started seeing carpenter ants on the porch this summer, I called them, and they were more lackadaisical than I was comfortable with. They sent someone out to do an extra spraying. I still saw ants, including one in the house. I called them and they said, "It's probably just a random scout ant -- you're probably fine." They made me wait two weeks for another visit from a technician. Meanwhile, ants started appearing in the house regularly. I fired Cheetah and am now having to spend $300 with another company to get rid of the carpenter ants Cheetah was supposed to prevent, and I am being told by the new company that (as I suspected) monthly spraying was more than I needed.
