AAA Quality Construction was great. Jim was able to come give us a quote the day we called. The bid that came back was very reasonable (and overall cost did not exceed the bid). Work was started (and finished) the next week. Work began promptly at 8:30 each morning and continued throughout the day. We were always informed of what was happening. Jim and his team went out of their way to make sure that everything was finished to our satisfaction. We will certainly call again if we need any other work done.

AAA Quality Construction is my right hand man. He is very good, very trustworthy and easy to talk to. I call him for most of my needs. He is very efficient and has come in under his quoted time frame a couple of times.

He is excellent. I would recommend him to a friend or family member. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Did tear out soffet lighting and a great job matching the drywall and textures. Installed a light and fan, heated floors, shower tower, bench seat, light in shower. Jim has a lot of experience and really good ideas.

Each day was dedicated to a specific stage of the process. They came at 8:30 am and left by 5 pm. Jim bought all the materials according to what we wanted and that was included in the price. The men were unfailingly courteous and showed us the process whenever we looked to see what was happening. I have had other work done on my house when I thought I was overcharged. Here both the tile laying and the electrical work seemed very reasonable. We will need a picture window in the living room replaced soon, and I will ask Jim to do that job. We are seniors and live in an older house, built in the 1950s. Jim suggested just a few updates that were needed, new valves in the faucets, which he included in the price. There were no surprises money wise and we had expected to pay extra in case of mold and dry rot, but Jim fixed those things and did not charge extra.

It went very well, it took longer to get started but that was probably unavoidable. A scratch on the new tub was repaired at once. Everyone was professional.

Work was scheduled and completed within the scheduled time. On time, under cost and well done.

Everything was done when I got back. It's really nice having enough cabinet space. My only slight complaint is that the painters were a little sloppy at times as I found a few splatters. I also had Jim put the cabinet doorknobs on and do a few other small tasks a couple months later. Good thing I didn't choose the handles earlier as I bought a new stove and got handles to coordinate everything. I'm glad I had Angie's List so I could leave the project in good hands while I was away.

Jim was great. He was very nice and the work turned out very well. The pricing was also reasonable. His price was below the other estimates I got.

They were the first ones to come. They came out quickly when I called them. They did not give me a formal written up estimate. They didn’t want to do quality work; they were very vague. The bid was low. Their punctuation and ability to come within hours was excellent. I would not use them in the future.

Jim was very easy to get along with, prompt and professional. He had good suggestions along the way. His work is perfect and the bath we did not like to use is now a room we are proud of and love every day. He is such a great contractor we are going to use him to do the kitchen asap.

I chose AAA Quality Construction because Jim Trauernicht was highly recommended to me by a trusted friend. I was not disappointed. He showed up every morning exactly when he said he would, wasted no time and finished the job on schedule and within budget. Not only did he do quality work but went beyond my expectations in a couple of categories. I expected that he would respectful of my home but in addition to maintaining a clean workspace, his assistant vacuumed my carpets at the end of each workday. Most remarkably, from 9:30 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon, while his crew was installing the skylight, this guy took me to every tile store in town trying to get me to make a decision on the style/color/type of tile I wanted. Just as I was on the verge of a meltdown, my sister called. As I was whining into my cellphone, Jimmy was on his knees on the floor of the tile store, patiently setting up vignettes of tile & trim for me to compare. Thanks to him, I have a beautiful bathroom. He demonstrated the patience of a saint that day. We can't say the same about me.

Very punctual with excellent communication. Work was of decent but not exceptional quality.

They did an outstanding job. I didn't have to clean up after them at all, they left everything perfectly clean.

I had no problems with them. They seemed pretty reliable. They weren't the cheapest, but they seemed to know what they were talking about.

We haven?t had them do the work yet and we haven?t yet decided if we are going to go with them. We are going to get more quotes from other companies too. I think that the price quoted was reasonable for the bathroom, but I am not sure about the kitchen. The contractor doesn?t do all the work himself, but he does outsource some of it. I didn?t think that the way he was going to do the bid for the cabinets was the fairest one in terms of pricing. If need be, then I would call them again.

Jim is fantastic! The best contractor we have ever had - he is very thorough and made sure to follow-up with any concerns. He is a perfectionist and does an excellent job of noticing the details. He replaced old traditional shower in master bath with walk-in shower (pan with tiled walls). Replaced old bathtub with new soak tub in main bath. New exhaust fans, tile floors, new vanities, cabinets, new toilets, installed pocket door for master bath and new door for main bathroom, painted, arranged for electrician to add circuit and new outlet. We used odd-shaped Mexican tile for the main bathroom - it was a challenge, but with Jim's skills, it turned out beautifully. Jim suggested features, such as shadow boxes in the shower and bath that we probably wouldn't have thought about - they are great. We are very happy with how both bathroom turned out.

Our experience with them was positive. They showed up when they said they would and did a good job. We are satisfied with their work.

He came right out for a free estimate, and gave us a price range due to the need to remove part of the wall to assess the total damage. He and a partner got right to work, cleaned up as they went and finished the job quickly. I felt like they were honest and kept the cost down as well as they could.

The end result was very good. We should have given more input on purchase of fixtures, but that was my fault. The job was done within the time frame. High quality workmanship.

I wanted a walk in closet and master bath. The house size and dimension did not allow for this. Jim was able to draw plans and work with the house structure. He opened the hall going into the living room and change an ugly brick fireplace to a beautiful marble front and added a custom oak mantle. He closed off the hallway going to the bathroom and bedroom and turned it into a master suite. He was there when he said he would be. He cleaned up nightly and kept the dust to very minimal. He tiled three walls in the bath, the floor in the bath, entry and down the hallway to the other two bedrooms and bath. Jim also has a good eye for color and coordinating to blend with the rest of the house. He installed new bathroom cabinets, tiled the counter tops and installed matching vessels. There are always tricks and problems with older homes but he found a fix and just did an outstanding job.

It was great! We got along well. He has a great sense of humor and communicated very well. The first day we went to the home improvement stores and bought the stuff, then he started tearing down the old bath and kitchen right away. He always kept a very clean job and worked into the evening on several occasions. I didn't move into the home until the work was completed. Sometimes when he would give me a choice, I would have to ask what the difference was, say in plaster finish. He would then explain and I could more easily choose. Just ask him. He has been doing this work for 40 years, knows all about the complexity of plumbing, electrical, heating, flooring, formica etc. and when you ask him something, he can delve into the area and almost instantly answer the possibilities. He is a perfectionist and when he is done with the job, everything falls together nicely. He considers steps way ahead of the work at hand and includes it all. I really enjoyed his easy manner and steady work ethic. Would have him back on the next project in a minute--unless he is booked up from this report!

Jim was very thorough and quick. We were planning on doing remaining work ourselves, and he gave us great advice, tips, and instructions on what to do. As we were remodeling our only bathroom, we were worried about how long the plumbing would be unusable, but Jim got all the major plumbing work done in about a day. He cleaned up and was very careful not to damage structures we would not be remodeling. He was also very reliable, and always called/showed up when he said he would.
