Don did an amazing job for us on our kitchen remodel. We particularly appreciated his attention to detail and clearly telling us in advance what we could expect at each stage of the process. We are ecstatic with the finished project. We would recommend him to anyone. We are so happy with his work that we intend to have him do our bathroom remodel in the coming year.

We had two bathrooms that needed redo to bring them from the 70's. We wanted new tile and a pocket door installed in one bathroom so the space would be better utilized. The new shower in the master bath is amazing. The tile work is perfect and is exactly how we envisioned it. With the tile, new shower door, new lighting, new vanity and the pocket door, the bathroom has been reborn and modernized. In the other bathroom a new tub, new tile and the new fixtures completely changed the bathroom. The attention to detail and the care involved in the work was outstanding. We could not be happier in how these spaces were done.

Don is a skilled professional who pays great attention to detail and does quality work. We are very happy with the work that he did and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

Don completed a tub and window replacement and arranged with Lane Marble for shower walls. We intend to have him back in spring for other window replacement work as we were very pleased with his ability to explain options and then do quality work.

He was amazing. He is experienced and skilled. Detail oriented. Great at communicating any changes in plan before final decisions are made. Also great at solving unexpected problems. We are very happy with our kitchen! Highly recommended!

AAA Quality Construction has done a variety of projects for me over the last 10 years: bathroom remodels, repairs, and most recently, a kitchen remodel. Don is knowledgeable in all aspects of home improvement: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, tile. He is conscientious, detail-oriented, and has consistently done quality work.

Don, the owner of AAA Quality Construction, did all the work; there was no crew of questionable abilities to worry about. He was highly skilled and payed close attention to details. Basically, he was a perfectionist and took great pride in his work. He provided good, creative input to solving our remodeling issues, but his ideas were always balanced with practicality and cost in mind. Don was also accommodating about changes that came up throughout the remodel. Just to provide one example of Don's abilities, there are a few areas in our house in which the location of multiple doors and walls create a complicated geometry from a trim standpoint. The old doors and sanitary trim resulted in an unattractive mashup of cheap trim and paint strips. These particular locations had the potential to be unsightly even after the remodel. Don was able to frame the new doors and rework the configuration of the new wood trim to create clean, visually appealing space in these areas and throughout the house. The result of all of his remodeling work is a beautiful house that we thoroughly enjoy.

Everything went just fine. It was a difficult piece of vinyl to replace because it was not a simple square but many jigs and jogs and he did a very nice job. It looks just great. He was very easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and detail oriented.

Don is extremely detail oriented, and did an amazing job executing my vision. It took a bit longer than expected, but issues did arise once the remodel began. I would definitely hire him again!

Services performed by our AAA Quality Construction carpenter, Don, were EXCELLENT! The quality of the work is outstanding and we are very happy with our kitchen. We understand Don will soon manage AAA Quality Construction and we expect the company will reflect his professionalism, skillfulness, strong communication and follow-through. Given this, we would enthusiastically endorse AAA Quality Construction in the future. Unfortunately, we cannot report as positively on our experience with the contracting services & some of our ratings dropped accordingly. Items discussed and we understood were included in the original bid later changed and were charged out separately. No itemized invoices made addressing discrepancies difficult.. Summary: costs were high, communication was low.

They did a great job keeping everything clean. They finished within the estimated time and estimated total price. It looks beautiful and we are very pleased with the work that was done.

The work was interrupted by a monumental ice storm that damaged our kids' home and forced them to move in with us for a week. Jim was understanding about delaying the work and re-scheduled it promptly when we were back to normal. They arrived on time each day and were very cooperative with the inevitable changes and additions we requested during the job. They also took pains to clean up each day and were very thoughtful about keeping electrical/plumbing interruptions to a minumum. They also had some helpful suggestions for us, like a ceiling mounted, quiet combo light/exhaust fan in the bath, instead of a noisey, wall-mounted design. We were able to maintain contact through e-mail and phone, and this is very important when you are working with a contractor.

Well, took much longer but turned out great, we expanded scope during work

We have had an excellent experience with them. The responsiveness wasn't always as quick as I would have liked. The owner was very helpful in explaining what would be good to do, giving us ideas and suggestions and then making it happen.

Excellent, uses no subcontractors so no endless parade of strangers in your house as with other contractors. Receptive to changes as we went, friendly, professional, Jim and Don can literally do anything.

Don worked over 12 straight hours and did a fabulous job. When he was done with his work he cleaned the area so well that it looked even better than when he had arrived. The total work cost me $1,450. The other plumbers were going to charge me at least $350 more. I was very, very impressed with Jim and Don. I will definitely recommend them to others and will hire them in the future!

Excellent contractor to work with. The results are top notch, the cost was more than fair, Jim always showed up when he indicated he would, couldn't be happier!

Horrible, did not even do prep work like sanding!

They did a great job and we are very satisfied with the quality of their work. They had very helpful suggestions about different possibilities. They were punctual and cleaned up the work site at the end of work each day. They were accessible and responsive. This is the second time we have used the company. We are happy to recommend them.

First let me say Jim and his team (2 other guys) were fantastic. We replaced some cabinets, refinished some and made a number of new ones all with new doors and hardware. Installed the most beautiful granite countertop and backsplash you have ever seen, installed a new special downdraft stove, dishwasher, sink, ton of electrical and instant hot water dispenser under sink. Cabinets were all custom made (not home depot type) these are all 100% solid oak to match the balance of my 1976 northwest home. Installed built in microwave and designed two special 48" tall vertical slideouts next to microwave for spices and oil. Fantastic. Without changing a wall, the kitchen now feels twice as big with twice the counter space. Every person who has seen it since has said that was the best money I have ever spent and I have to agree. I have more projects to complete and Jim will be the first and only person I call.

We did most of the preliminary demolition of our master bath. We solicited 3 proposals from contractors to complete the remodel. We selected AAA Quality Construction based both on price and upon post-proposal interviews with the contractors. Our contractor, Jim Trauernicht, worked with us to fill in the details of our design concept. The job consisted of: 1. Replace all plumbing and electrical fixtures. 2. Replace a 'drop' ceiling with a new sheetrock ceiling with new can lights. 3. New site-built tile shower. 4. New tile floor 5. New custom cabinets. 6. Remove heavily textured plaster wall finish and refinish with orange peel textured walls to match the rest of the house. 7. Install new grab bars and towel hangers. 8. Repair all walls and ceilings and paint entire room. We protected the furniture in the master bedroom and turned it over to Jim as a staging and storage area. He protected the floors with plastic runners and tarps. Jim and his subs kept the work area clean at the end of each day. We had a silestone counter top and shower seat installed (by others) after Jim had finished his work. After the counter top was installed, Jim came back in to touch up the minor scratches caused by the installation of the heavy and close-fitting counter top. He also installed the last of our towel hooks. This was our fourth major bath remodel (in two houses) and It was by far the best. Jim was a pleasure to work with. When we get ready for our kitchen remodel, AAA Quality Construction will be the first contractor we call.

The work was very good quality. I would give him an "A." The price was high, but he was able to help me last minute.

. Mr. Trauerrnicht (contractor) showed up promptly at agreed upon time. His sub-contractors proved extremely efficient and competent. arriving when they said they would. The whole process, including removing, painting, and replacing doors and drawers took about six working days. To say that we were pleased is an understatement. We are delighted. We have worked with various other contractors, but AAA Quality is the best. Highly recommended.
