The crew showed up to work as soon as the weather cleared sufficiently, on time, and worked hard for two days. Everything was professionally done and the cleanup was thorough. I can sight no negatives for this job. Heath and his crew were first rate, and the price was "right".

Heath was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about roofing. I was also impressed with his knowledge of eco options - he was the most knowledgeable and motivated of anyone I talked with to explain the environmental impacts of each roofing choice. We chose not to go with Stalcup's bid because it was about $2000 more than another bid we received for identical service. Based on Angie's List reviews I trusted the other company to do a good job, so I went with the lower bid.

They were quick to respond to me and I really appreciated that they sent the invoice and informational paperwork through email. Scheduling was easy and MJ was always on time, knowledgable, friendly and readily answered my questions. After the first time out the roof was still leaking (although not as bad) and MJ returned to do more sealing without extra cost. I would definitly recommend Stalcup.

Heath Stalcup and crew showed up at 8 am sharp. Even with a lunch break, the roof and clean up was completed by 1:30 pm. They did a very careful clean up after the project. The crew chief checked with us before leaving to see if we had any questions or problems, Very professional start to finish. Price was with AngiesList Coupon. We would definitely use Stalcup again for any roofing needs we have.

It went well. They also came back within the two-year warranty period and fixed the roof again at no charge.

I am extremely happy with the job and my choice of Heath's company. First, he obtained some overstock commercial grade membrane material at no extra cost to me. It was thicker than what was first ordered and came with a longer manufacturer warranty. His foreman, Jason, was very professional and exacting in his work. It took a little longer to install than they expected but they communicated with me throughout. There was a small follow-up issue with one of the vent pipes through the roof that required a plumber to come out and correct - this after I had already paid Stalcup Roofing. Heath was very easy to deal with and he promptly reimbursed me for this added expense, no questions asked. I am extremely happy with my new roof and my dealings with Heath Stalcup. I have already referred him to my neighbors and would encourage anyone considering a new roof to contact him. You won't be sorry. He sets the standard for customer service, in my opinion.

called got the best bid,had 5 bids. stalcup roofing was the lowest price with like material. lower by thousands of dollars. the lowest, stalcup roofing does the work themselves. no sub contractors. this company specializes in metal roofs, and they do excellent work. no worries, excellent warranty. grat clean-up. roof completed in 2 days. stalcup is an excellent company.

Stalcup Roofing has replaced my own roof and I have referred real estate clients to them for 20+ years. They are prompt, reasonably priced, professional and provide an exceptional warranty. They do not try to make a job bigger than it is and have offered less expensive options, or referred my clients back to the original roofer for warranty work. They were one of the only companies I could find that were willing to work on a cabin in zigzag and a flat roof.

They replaced the sub-roofing as well. They were reasonably priced. They did a good job, but whoever they sub-contract to haul away didn't take the residual remaining material away. I had to call them a couple of times and then they finally took it. That wasn't their fault but the sub that they deal with. I would recommend them. It took them a week to complete the job down to the studs. Before they all tied it in, they thought it was all tied in but it was not quite finished as they had sheets and stuff, there was a major storm and it leaked that night. Not all the shingles are up yet. They don't give a weather guarantee, unlike some other people. The price was okay. I can't really grade the quality because I don't go up there and look at it. They were quite responsive. They called right back. They were here when they said they would be. When they cleaned up, they didn't clean up well. There were pieces of plastic from the shingle wrappings in the trees. It took a few days for the wind to blow them off and for the husband to yank them down. By the time the guys showed up, the pieces in the trees were gone so we asked them to come back and haul away more pieces. Initially they started dumping in the neighbors' area and I asked them to put sheets down there because I didn't want the neighbors to suffer for our work. They did not cover the fancy fence that I have. It is a powder coated steel fence and if that gets scratched, it's very expensive to replace. They didn't cover it initially, not to the degree I wanted them to. I called the company and they contacted the foreman on the site right away and they covered it up. They were quite responsive, but they should have thought of it themselves without me having to tell them. I would hire them again, but I would have to be more careful about watching them.

Heath and his crew came out shortly after I called them. They were quick to do the job and definately had experience with metal roofs as they knew they did not have to tear back all the roofing to get to the panels that had holes in them. They even created a little water diversion for an area of the roof that was creating a water hazard for the siding as the roof jetted out a bit. There was a misunderstanding regarding the over-all job but Heath came back out and made the repairs as I understood them given the quote and my discussion with Stalcup.

Stalcup Roofing was terrific to work with. Our contact was NJ. He was extremely patient with all my questions and answered them to my satisfaction. The problem we had was due to an addition that was added to the house prior to our purchase. This addition has a flat roof that has leaked ever since we bought the house in 1994. After many attempts to bandaid the problem, we finally fixed it correctly. NJ came to do the estimate and walked me through everything they would need to do to fix the problem. He was thorough and got back to me within a week with the estimate, and work was started and completed within a week of setting the date. The workers were great. They got in and did the work and clean-up faster than I thought it could be done. We also had to have some gutters replaced and Stalcup called their gutter man who was able to get that part done within one day. Since the roof was replaced, we have had to call once to have a piece of flashing resealed around out woodstove pipe. NJ came out the same day I called and fixed it at that time. We have had some pretty major rain storms since the roof was done in October of 2008, and we have had no problems with leaking or anything else. Great company to work with.

They were excellent. They cleaned up well with a magic nail cleaner. It was a great tool and it was a magnet so it cleaned up well.

On Monday I signed the estimate to get work started, on Wednesday they started working, and it was all done by Friday! I never imagined it would be done so quickly and easily.

Company worked within our budget. Good communication from start to finish. Workers worked consistent in FREEZING cold weather. Company has backed their workmanship immediately when we found a small leak. I would highly recommend this company for roofing work. I have already passed the name and phone number on to others. My neighbors had come down while the work was being done on our home and saw their workmanship so had Stalcup do some of their roofing, too.

This was a pretty small job so it was fill in work for them, which was no problem for me. On Friday afternoon several guys showed up and installed all the drip edge on the house. They left the bath exhaust vent for me to inspect - I was particular about what they installed. I didn't like the vent, so they ordered the one I wanted and installed without any problems on a second trip. I did note a few places where drip edge was missing, which was also fixed on that second trip. Everything looks good.

I called Stalcup roofing to get prices for metal roof and comp roof. I also received estimates from 2 other roofing companies. Heath Stalcup was very professional and I received an estimate with in a few days. They also provided me with a list of some of their customers' homes to look at. We decided on a metal roof. Stalcup was not the least expensive but they had the best lead time, they came well recommended and I liked using a local Estacada company. The crew showed up when they said they would and finished in less than a week. There were a couple of minor fixes to do after the job, which they took care of very quickly. For reference, our roof is Hunter green standing seam style metal roof. The roof looks very good.

They have done great work for my father's commercial building and our former house. They totally ruined the plants around the house, damage the porch steps and nails are poking through the eves & rusting. My biggest concern is the use of too long nails, that stick through the overhanging eves of our tall Portland four square house. It looks horrible. Then they came & cut off about 1/3rd of the nails, but now they are rusting & bleeding onto the paint. It looks bad. I look out my windows & see nails. A constant reminder of this nightmare. I want the stairs fixed and nails pulled and replaced.

Great. The existing roof was 17 years old, it was a 3 tab roof that was developing erosion holes. I had 4 estimates, from $4200.00 to $9,000.00. The higher end estimates wanted to remove the existing shingles. After alot of research, I learned that for most homes with a single layer of asphalt shingles, a re-roof is a very good option. After accepting Stalcup's bid, they began work within a week. A single fellow performed the work over 3 1/2 days. Looking at the roof you wouldn't be able to tell it was laid over existing shingles. The installer left a bracket of some sort on the roof, after calling the owner Heath, he had someone on the roof removing what turned up being a caulking gun and pulled some debris out of the gutters. I would highly recommend, Stalcup roofing.

They were prompt and worked quickly. I was somewhat disappointed at the mediocre clean-up, but they sent the workers out within 24 hours of our phone call to clean up what was missed. Excellent customer service. However, they are here and it is dark, so how well they do it remains to be seen. We are happy with the prompt and apologetic attention though. Also, we'll need to live with the roof for awhile to be certain of its quality. As far as having it for 2 days, it looks great!

I was extremely satisfied with my overall experience with all employees of Stalcup Roofing: Heath Stalcup (the estimator), Robin (office coordinator), the three roofers, and the person who came afterwards to pick up unused material. We had to postpone the tear-off 2 or 3 times because of rain and I had some concern about this process. Heath and Robin were extremely responsive to my phone calls and concerns, and at all times I had the impression that they cared about taking care of my needs. I was also pleased that they gave me a 5% Senior discount (included in the price listed above). I highly recommend this company.
