We always hire a landscaping company in late fall every year to do yard cleanup for the winter. Landscape Services Company came up on my Big Deal notifications, and we decided to go with them because the five-manhour package offered was just about the amount of time it takes to deal with our small urban yard. They did a great job- probably the best of any of the landscapers we've hired in the past. Not only did they do good work, but they offered to come back if we found anything they'd missed. (They told us that they tell that to every customer, and in at least one case the person simply wrote them a negative review on Angie's List instead of asking them to come deal with what they missed. Not sure why someone would do that.) When we hire landscapers, we always try to save a little bit by asking them to just bag everything so that we can dispose of it ourselves through normal curbside means. Unfortunately, I'd forgotten to have lawn & leaf bags on hand for them to use- but LSC very graciously made a special trip to get some. This was above and beyond, and the next time we hire LSC I will make sure to have the appropriate bags available.

I moved into a new house over summer and was able to get the sprinkler system running for summer watering. However, I never found any of the valve boxes and controls to drain it for the winter. TJ returned my call promptly and came out the same day to do the winterization. He helped locate the backflow valve, figure out what controls needed to be set, and used compressed air to blow all the water out of the system. Took advantage of his $64 winterization coupon from Angies List. Really appreciated the promptness, excellent communication, and professionalism. Would hire him again without a second thought.

I requested a phone call so I could ask some questions before the service was conducted. The first contact I had was by email that asked for my address so someone could come by and look at the property. Then another email saying what day they were coming. I never got my phone call but when the owner TJ came to do the pre-inspection my husband did a walk around with him, unfortunately on crutches with a fractured ankle, which is why I asked for the phone call so he could stay in bed. The ad stated 5 hours of work which really meant 3 guys for 1 hr and 45 mins. They said it would be enough time to do what I asked. They arrived before I left for work which I appreciated as I wanted to be sure and walk around with the crew to explain my requests. The crew leader was polite and said they could do it all. When I came home at noon, the yard looked great when I drove up. My only disappointment was that upon closer inspection of the flower bed, they did not "weed" them in the true sense of the word, they rake them and scrape off the weeds at the surface level. This means when spring comes, they will all sprout right back up where they were. I have hired other crews to do yard work before and sadly, this seems to be the industry standard. No one gets down and actually pulls weeds by hand so that they get the roots. I suppose for the price, I should have not expected work that thorough and overall I am happy with how the place looks. They even cleared the filter on one of our downspouts at my husband's request for no extra charge.

Discussed my needs for a combo sprinkler and drip system. Job was completed in 1/2 day. Everything works as planned.

I wish I could give them a higher grade than an A. They were exactly on time and very professional. They even took the time to explain how the whole system works. I will definitely be using them in the future.

The owner responds immediately to any phone calls and emails. The work quality is great and my yard has never looked better. Highly recommend.

It went great! TJ contacted me right away and said he would get back to me the next day with the time and date. Which he did. He said the crew would be at my place at 8:00 am on October 23rd and they were right on time. They did the job and also blew off the sidewalks. Great customer service and great job.

This provider was excellent in every way. He answered my initial call promptly and came by to give me an estimate just as promptly. All of the work was done as promised and the two men working here were polite, helpful, and pleasant. When I needed some help with the system because I had forgotten something I was told, the owner came over within a very short period of time to give me an explanation and test the system. I would highly recommend this company.

First, TJ was willing to provide an estimate for me, something not all service providers will do, by coming to my home and investigating the problem. I explained my goals for the repair of my drip system. He and I agreed to the work to be completed and the cost per hour for two workers. The work was completed efficiently, with the workers, including the owner, arriving on time. A couple of weeks later, I decided to change the length of time for watering. In doing that, I inadvertently changed something that caused the water to stop flowing. When I called JT back to ask about what may have happened, he agreed to come out and take a look. He came out the day I talked to me, fixed the problem, and then called me to explain what he had done. He did not charge me for this second service, even though the fault was mine. TJ's communication with me and his ability to diagnosis and fix the problem was outstanding. I appreciate his service very much and recommend him highly.

I could hear the slight sound of a water leak near the sprinkler valve. It is not easy to reach as it is underground and you have to reach through a tube to get to it. TJ showed up as scheduled, assessed the situation and quickly identified the issue. He said he would have his " guy in the van" who had the right tools to dig down to it come out next day and repair it. Next day guy in the van showed up right on time, fixed the problem and I am a happy camper who no longer has a water leak and it cost me less then I was afraid it might. :)

Since this company has not shown any degree of professionalism, courtesy, or dependability, we have moved on and found another contractor who seems pleased to have our job.

They were fine. They were very prompt and did a good job. It was a fair price. My husband dealt with them for most parts and he was happy is all I know.

We were out of town and TJ's crew did a great job. It looks absolutely great.

The arrived on time and left the yard looking great.

They brought forth ideas to enhance our plans. Did what they said when they said. We will have them nack in the spring to finish the back yard and possibly do some work on the front.

He returned on January 20th with two other employees. They worked on and off throughout the morning because one of the pipes leaked and had to be replaced. They left to get parts and returned and finished the job. First of all, TJ is a man of integrity. He treated this job with the same importance as his construction projects. And not only was he on site with his employees, but he worked right along side them. This explains, why every reviewer gave him an A. He treated me with respect, answered all my questions and just was a great professional. It is rare to find people like this and I am so glad I called him.

Everything went great. All repairs done as stated for the price I was quoted. Even took some extra time to show me how to program and work the controller.

Everything went well. The gentleman was highly responsive and professional during our interactions. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use his services due to unforseen financial issues.

It went very well. It was pretty easy, I don't remember a lot about it, but I know it was a good thing. He was easy and did pretty well. They were good with the work, price, they were on time and on schedule.

Purchased 2 Big deals for Landscape Services Company for my daughters. We had them go to both daughters home in Portland. They showed up on time and did the work very nicely. My first daughter and her husband was thrilled with the work completed. At one home they Pruned the shrubs, treated yard, edged. They cleaned up the front yard on my other daughters home and it looks great. We are very happy with Landscape Services Company for the work they done.

He gave us the lowest bid for the job and so we are going to have him do the work for us. The work should be finished some time in June.
