Landscape East & West

They arrived right on time, consulted with me about which trees we wanted pruned, and whether or not we had a preference on how much, and how, a tree might be shaped. Then they went to work. After about 5 hours we had many trees looking like they'd had some professional TLC. All debris had been removed. We have used Landscape East & West for landscaping services before and would definitely recommend them.

Starting with Alex, the team was superb. We worked together to develop the plan and pick the plant material. I liked that amount of involvement in the project. Once the project started, they were timely every day they worked. If for some reason they needed to alter their schedule, they always discussed it with me ahead of time. I was most impressed with how they left the site at the end of the day or over the weekend. Everything was clean and neat. You would never know, except for the sign in the front of the house, that there was major work going on in the backyard. The plant material delivered was of the best quality from trees to ground cover. It exceeded my expectations. When two bushes were damaged during the mulch process, they came out quickly with replacements. During the course of build out, there were a few areas that I wanted altered and they were very willing to please me. They had good suggestions for problem areas due the sloping backyard. The patio and walkway pavers are of irregular design and difficult to lay out correctly, especially on the narrow walkway. The end result is just lovely. The workmanship on each step of the process was excellent. All the employees were courteous and eager to make sure I had all my questions answered as they worked. I now have a yard full of very contented birds and a beautiful young landscape to look out on. I can't wait to see it grow. It was expensive, but I got a very good end result with quality work and materials.

The design was professionally done and took into consideration the variable slope, shade and our concerns for a low maintenance landscape. Cindy checked the plant layout once the plants were laid our before planting. The planting was done over two days and planting crew were plants were installed in accordance with the design and the crew were careful on the steep slope. They cleaned up when done. The back yard looks great. I would recommend Landscapes East and West for design and planting.

The process was straightforward and simple. The designer came up with a good design based on our small budget. We were clear that we wanted to use native plants that did not require year-round irrigation. He listened to us and came up with a plan that reflected our desires. The work itself went well and the two crewmen were very professional. The final results are beautiful. We are very impressed.

We are very happy with the work performed. We had a 30 foot tree between our house and our neighbor's house that had grown much too big for the space it was in. They did an excellent job of removing the tree, being careful of both houses. A new flagstone path was added on one side of the house. An aggregate path and pad were added on the other side. We now have excellent access between the front and back yards. They listened to what we wanted and added plantings that met our needs. The work was completed on time and very professionally. Our front yard has gone from one of the worst in the neighborhood to best.

Beautiful work done to a professionally high standard at all stages of the project. Bjorn from the start was very informative and offered great design ideas and options for the arbor. Listened to our requirements and carefully took our home style into consideration and came back with an arbor design that both complements and enhances our backyard and house. Very accurate with start and completion dates for the project, keeping us informed throughout. Met with Bjorn and the craftsmen at the start of the project ensuring everyone was on the same page. Jonathan and Eugene were very polite and considerate keeping us informed and asking our opinion of any adjustments they thought were necessary to fit the arbor to the edge of the home. They cleaned up at the end of each work day letting us know when they would finish and when they would be back. The completed project is stunning, they are both true craftsmen. On the final day met with everyone again so they could ensure we were happy with the results. We are more than happy, delighted! Landscape East & West have been a pleasure to work with from beginning to end.

We moved in in May and finally got around to having the irrigation system checked out. Our neighbor recommended this company. The technician moved at least 2 sprinkler heads, replaced several of others and made sure they were all watering what they were supposed to be watering. It was done very quickly and efficiently. I don't think our system had any maintenance for years, some of the heads were completely buried, other were behind shrubbery.. Our grass is already happier with the even distribution of water. We also signed up for the spring and fall maintenance.

From start to finish, the whole East & West team was great to work with. Cindy arrived for our initial appointment and walked the property with us, helped us with ideas on what could be done within our budget, talked about a plan for doing our project in phases to accommodate our immediate needs and our future desires for the entire space. She then worked on the design based on our discussion and came back to go over all of the plans and made adjustments as needed. Cindy helped us with all of the necessary paperwork needed to be done to get approval for city/county requirements. Within the first week, she came back by with samples of all of the materials to be used in the project to allow us to pick out what we wanted and was very knowledgeable and helpful giving us her suggestions and advice whenever we asked. She went out of her way to send us ideas for plants for the future phase and for plants we plan to plant ourselves even though it was not part of the current phase of the project. The crew arrived on time every day of the project and worked very hard having to manually carry very heavy (over 100 lb each) cement block for the retaining wall down a very sleep slope to the back yard. They were very diligent in getting it done and finished earlier than expected. Each day, they cleaned up the area and left the front area free of debris and neat in appearance. Luis and his crew were friendly and answered any questions we had during the work phase of the project. Jamie, the project manager, came by each week to make sure all was going well and gave me a run down of what was expected to be completed that week and kept me updated if there were any changes in schedule or if any changes had to be made to the original specs. During the final week of the project, both Cindy and Jamie came to do a walk thru of the last part of the project and noted any issues at that time. They were very approachable when any issues arose and addressed everything immediately to make sure that we were happy with our final results. We will definitely use Landscape East & West again for the future phases of our project.

We started with a 900 square foot wooden deck built about 12 years ago. Once the deck was removed we discovered the person who built it (previous owners) did not use the proper wood so there was quite a bit of rot we were unaware of. Cindy and the crew were very accommodating and moved our date for the installation to give us time to get the rot repaired (which included replacing the floor of a sunroom off of the deck, all of the doors and siding). On the new date the crew showed up and went straight to work. Every day when I came home I was impressed with the amount of work that got done. It was bonus that every day we came home and everything was cleaned up, straightened and secured (including the piece of the fence that had to be removed) before they left. After a week our pavers were in place and looks amazing! I wish I could post pictures so you could see the before and after - we will be spending a lot more time in the back yard now!!

Marcello came at the appointed time and worked quickly and efficiently. He was polite and professional, and the bill was less than expected. I have been using Landscape East and West for over 8 years and I have always received quality service. They are always on time, reliable and rectify whatever issue is at hand. I have been very pleased with their service.

Alex was the landscape designer and did a fantastic job coaching me on my decisions. He was very informative and VERY patient working through the process which I appreciated very much. Luis and Jose did a beautiful job planting the trees and shrubs and installing the drip system. I am SO happy with the end result! I highly recommend Landscape East and West! They are awesome!

It went very smoothly. Our water was only shut off for an hour the entire time the irrigation system was being put in. Not bad for 5 days of work.

From the first phone call Landscape East & West made every effort to communicate clearly and were prompt for all meetings. They were happy to meet with the landscaped designer and help problem solve as a group. Once work began the total project took only two weeks to complete with the crew on time and with great attitudes. It was so pleasant to have workers who were proud of their accomplishments. The site was always left clean. They continue to check back and confirm our satisfaction and that the irrigation and other details are working properly. They made this project a joy. This is a very dependable and hard working team.

FIRST OF ALL I HAVE TO SAY THAT THESE ARE THE NICEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH! Christen Bryk came out to give me ideas and worked on the design. She is so fantastic! Easy to talk to and not at all pushy. She knows her plants so well and I am thrilled with the ones she suggested! Granted this was done in the winter, so I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised in the summer when everything blooms. She assisted in finding just the perfect fountain, and drove me to all the stone places to look at them. I can't say enough wonderful things about her skilled professionalism, and kindness. My backyard is narrow and smallish. It has cement patios on part of it. A new arbor and gate was built and installed on the right side entrance to the back. A beautiful rock fountain was installed and works like a charm. Three trellis's were built to support vines that will help make the yard a bit more private. Some tall Taxus were put between the trellis's, and look fabulous. The soil was ammended with good planting soil, around 100 plants were installed, and mulch laid down. A stone walkway leading from the new arbor was put in, and lighting was installed as well. I added a wood screen built to hide my A/C, and it was handled with ease. Jamie Swygard the Project Manager was there a few times to oversee the work being done. He was easy to talk to and very helpful. The subs hired to do the lighting were very skilled, efficient and timely. And all finished in 2 weeks time! Overall this was a pleasant experience all around. So much so that I am now thinking of having a design drawn up for the front yard!

Everyone we dealt with at Landscape East and West was fantastic. Russ was easy to work with and did a great job of understanding our needs/wants for our backyard. We were vey happy with the landscape design he developed. The project manager, Jamie, kept us informed of important milestones throughout the project. Everyone was professional and courteous. We are extremely happy with the final results and quite enjoy our new backyard retreat.

Cody designed the front bed to coordinate with 2 smaller beds flanking the front path. The result was amazing. The front landscape has more interest and depth. The other plants that he chose were beautiful; each different in size, shape, and color. They fit perfectly in their spaces, and added to the locations where they were planted.

Design and installation surpassed our expectations for schedule, cost, and quality. Seasonal service is excellent and upgrade suggestions have been practical.

Overall an excellent experience. Everything was on-time. They worked well with our designer and communicated well and regularly with us. The workers were very polite and helpful. We ran into a few unexpected things regarding some drainage work we had done by another contractor. The Landscape East & West team did a great job coming up with a creative solution. They have been responsive to fixing and adjusting things after the job was complete.

Communication was excellent. The crew showed up when expected and worked quickly and effieciently. A huge bank of old shrubs and plants needed to be removed. They took everything out efficiently and hauled all the debris away. The crew was very knowledgeable and did a terrific job of pruning and 'saving' the salvagable plants / trees, while planting & spacing new items perfectly to balance the yard & align with the lines of my home. They installed a watering system with appropriate infrastructure for additional landscaping that I will phase in over time. There was no drama - this was the easiest project I've ever done!

They have workers with a strong work ethic and craftsmanship. We were really impressed with the staff who built the wall, as well as the carpenter who built the pergola, fence, and installed the gate. He even sanded the posts of the pergola when we asked about whether or not we should sand it before staining the wood. They were all top-notch workers that delivered an excellent product. We will hire them again when we are ready to work on the next phase of our backyard project.

David always calls me ahead of time, arrives when he says he will, and does a great job. I will continue to use Landscape E & W's service for the foreseeable future.

.My experience was a very positive one. My consultant was very personable, highly professional, creative, and responsive. Phone calls were returned promptly and appointment times were always honored. My consultant had a thorough knowledge of plants, and his design plan was wonderful. The installation was very well done, and they cleaned up thoroughly. The crew was very polite and efficient. I truly appreciated the follow up and the concern that my expectations were met. I would definitely use Landscape East and West's services again and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a very positive experience with high quality results.

I received an estimate from Lee to take some out of control weed and overgrowth problems and eventually contracted with them to perform the work. A team of two men came out and spent a full day working. At the end of the day the amount the accomplished was amazing. All over the overgrowth and unwanted plants were gone, everything was trimmed well back, and we are prepared to replant now. It would have taken me weeks to get to that point. I will most likely be using them for replanting services and to redo a gravel walkway that needs to be dug out and redone.

Landscape East and West always calls to schedule their visit, and they are always prompt. I have asked David Been to let me know before he comes, as I may have special requests. David also did a great job when we sprang a leak that needed to be repaired.

Very professional from start gave alot of great ideas for future.
