From the design process to the installation, everything was professionally done. Brandon (designer) listened carefully to us and was able to make adjustments pretty seamlessly. Nathan (project manager) communicated well and was involved daily. The crew, Foreman Leo and Rafa worked hard and shared their knowledge and ideas freely. It was clear that the culture of the organization was one of mutual respect.

I had a contract with this company to get my irrigation system going last spring. The person they sent ended up coming four times and messed it up every time. It took months to get my correct sprinkler heads. Customer service was rude and ineffective.

We LOVE our new patio, retaining wall, and walkway. They are beautiful, solid, and so meticulously constructed! We couldn’t be more pleased with our designer, site supervisor, and the whole crew. They were so professional, courteous, and competent. They listened to our wishes, incorporated our ideas and preferences, and weren’t satisfied until every detail was perfectly executed. They showed up on time, worked hard, and took the time to answer questions and tweak the plan to accommodate the roots of a blueberry bush. Major thanks to Matt, Bryan, Sacramento, and the entire crew!! It was expensive but worth the money.

Frequent no shows. Insistence upon payment for services not rendered. Failure to listen re desired succession of blooms/colors in front bed. Long delays after contracted services. Raised bed filled with soil so hot (new compost) it was literally burning. When I mentioned this I was told I was "mistsken". Had to dig it out and replace it with aged soil to be able to plant in bed. Bed wood cracked and splintery. Workers themselves were very nice. I got the sense that they were over-extended. I highly suggest seeki g out a?more honorable and reliable company.

Excellent workers. All work was done quickly and area cleaned at the end of each day. Major redo of my front yard was just as I wanted it to look. Neighbors were impressed with the end results and were interested in consulting with the company about their yards.

Brandon did an excellent job of listening to what we were looking for. He came up with a design plan and estimate that met our goals. Rick and crew were very conscientious and thorough. They started on time and stayed on schedule throughout the job. The neighbors complemented how nice the crew was and the overall result. I was hesitant to pay a retainer up front but in the end it worked out very well. We also had them add on items that weren’t in our initial design. They have a good change order system. Overall we were very pleased with the job.

We emailed this company using their contact form, and then followed up with a call to make sure the maintenance sales manager got the request for a bid for landscape maintenance. The receptionist assured us that he did. However, he never called back. Based on the other reviews, this seems to be par for the course.

Best move we have ever made. We hold multiple events year around. Rave reviews from all of our friends.

Work was performed efficiently and professionally. The crew were always well informed by the project manager. We were always informed of scheduling or needed modifications. Options were discussed with education about performance differences (esp electrical). Materials used were of good quality and there were options for change orders without extra charge (as it should be).

We contacted Landscape East & West this summer when we discovered that we had persistent leaks from our yard into our basement. Bryan Backman came out and helped us figure out creative ways to redirect water away from the house, add an irrigation system, lay down new sod and change out some of the plantings in our front and backyard. Bryan was super hands on throughout the process and worked well to come up with solutions with our concrete guy and our contractor. His attention to detail and desire to help us make our home waterproof and our yard beautiful went above and beyond! I also highly recommend the project manager, Kirk, the foreman, Jose and his coworker, Isidro. Jose and Isidro were highly conscientious and committed to the job. Despite multiple days of deluge like rain, they were out there working away and getting the project done not just on time, but early, in fact. They also made a point of cleaning the yard and keeping the walkway open and usable at the end of each day. Having the whole team work on my yard was a real pleasure. They did a beautiful job and were very pleasant to my family and neighbors. I highly recommend Landscape East & West and look forward to seeing all the beautiful work as it blooms this spring and summer!

We use them on a yearly basis to turn on and off our sprinkler system.

The initial bid looked great, but the design was not properly vetted. When the project manager arrived on the first day, we were told that they could not do the work as planned. We had the option of keeping the budget the same but vastly changing the design (we were uncomfortable with the choices offered at the initial budget level), or paying an additional $1,000 to $3,000 to keep closer to the original design based on modified plans and materials. We opted for the more expensive redesign. The work schedule (Tuesday through Friday only) was not communicated to us, and we were not informed of changes to that schedule where the crew was being redirected to complete other projects due to the weather. Poor planning and communication continued throughout the project, and six days after completion, we still have a port-a-potty in front of our house despite multiple requests to the designer and PM to have it removed. The finished project looks good, but I would not use this company again due to the lack of professional communication and planning that I would expect for over $20,000.00.

Mark was prompt, professional and friendly. Took extra time to walk me through programming my sprinkler.

David B. worked hard and diligently to put in the pressure regulator. He was friendly, efficient and extremely professional.

Good for the most part, but follow up is needed

We're in start with them, we have a contract with Landscape East & West. They have completed the work so far.

I shouldn't need to contact a contractor multiple times to remind them I want to give them my business.

It went very well, very knowledgeable and did a good job, replaced all my plants where I wanted them. Installed large paver patio and sitting wall.

Well. The work done is high quality. Some of the sod has struggled but overall it looks good.

They fixed my fountain, correcting a poor installation of a repaired portion of the piping. They adjusted several sprinklers and added dippers to an irrigation system. later in the season they replaced the actual pump for the fountain. I now have a water maintenance contract with them to provide service twice yearly.

Fabulous experience! We can't say enough great things about working with Lee Glasscock and the entire team at Landscape East & West (Kirk, Miles, Herberth, Ricardo & Antionio). They designed our new patio / outdoor living area, completed the project (a look of perfection) and prepped our front yard for phase two (2) of the project (new landscape design). We are also working with them to have a new fence installed too. They have always been responsive to our calls and have definitely performed above our expectations. If your looking to work with a landscaper that takes pride in their work and creates a thing of beauty, Landscape East & West should be your choice.

They are fine. There’s nothing wrong with them but they want a contract for a year to do the back flow testing and start up your sprinkling system and we’re not using them because of that. They are really busy so you have to book way ahead of time and the other thing was, we did have problems with our sprinkler system being setup by them where it didn’t work quite right and it was really our fault because we called them once and told them about it and we never insisted that they’ll come out and fix it so it wasn’t really their fault but it wasn’t setup right, our sprinkler system. It wasn’t like they were unresponsive, it’s like we didn’t pursue it. I think their price was getting high.

No one every contacted me. They must not want new customers.
