A great experience. In particular, I was impressed with the professionalism and project management expertise of the Landscape East and West crew. EVERYTHING happened EXACTLY as committed and expected. Bjorn did a great job of understanding our ideas and translating them into a well-integrated reality that really adds to the curb appeal of our 1920's Colonial home. The worksmanship was exceptional and we are delighted with the end result.

Every step of the project went fine. The work was done efficiently and well. Bjorn provided me with all specs and drawings that I requested. The patio is one of my favorite places.

A representative from the company came out to my home and met with me. We discussed my ideas and thoughts for the project. They were able to offer some suggestions as well. I mentioned that I had received several estimates from other companies. When I decided to go with them for the work they were able to send out another representative relatively quickly to get all of the paperwork in order and get the work scheduled.

WOW, what a great experience! Our backyard went from dirt pit to a "Home and Garden" cover in just over a week. From start to finish this company showed ingenuity, integrity and efficiency. We first met with Bjorn to develop a design. We were wanting something simple but unique and he delivered. We loved his design and scheduled the job for one month out (soonest they could fit us in...their popular). Up front Bjorn let us know of potential over runs on cost (we had old pipes and there was a chance they might have to be replaced) but the pipe to the house was fine and we were right on budget. As they were starting work, Bjorn realized he had underestimated the size of our yard but he did not raise the cost of the job because of this mistake... Now that is integrity! When work started Jesus and Juan, and Jaime, the main workers, were amazingly efficient, very polite and did a fantastic job. We were so pleased with the way our patio turned out, and it was an unusual shape and a fairly new material, therefore a bit of a challenge. Bjorn was very patient with us in explaining the irrigation control box when it was all installed. Then later when we noticed the cover of the control box was sticky and hard to open he immediatly had it changed out to get us a more user friendly cover, even though we were willing to live with the sticky one. Service is definitely number one with this company. We would highly recommend them for any landscaping job you might have. Give them a call!I

They were responsive, knowledgeable, and did a very good job.

It was a pretty big job and the irrigation system hadn t been used in 15 years. They came out and found all the pipes and replaced the ones that were corroded. The time taken and cost was less than I expected. They cleaned up after they finished. They person from they company made sure I was satisfied and knew how to operate the system and asked me to call if I had any problem.

We decided not to go with them right at the last minute because we are going to move at the beginning of the year. This company got back to us right away. They were prompt, thorough and easy to work with. Multiple people came out to help us and they had great ideas. The only reason we didn't go with them is because we decided not to do the work. Otherwise, we would have went with them. Their quote was very good, too.

Their jobs are always done on time and according to the estimates they give. They are very reliable. The men who work for them are very nice, courteous, and respectful.

I think that they were efficient in their work and very fast. They had reasonable prices and they fixed the problem so they did a good job on the work.

It took nearly two full days of work by one person. Both he and the estimator who had visited earlier to assess the situation were very knowledgeable and agreeable to work with. Everything was done to my specifications and both men were helpful in suggesting alternatives when I needed advice. They were very thorough in assessing the needs of updating a system that had been in use for several years and needed repositioning to accommodate the growth and positions of the plants in my gardens over those years.

He did a good job. He was very nice. He was pleasant to have working in my yard. I would say that his price was competitive. He did the job that he said he was going to do.

We suddenly had a lot of water bubbling up in our yard, so we called East West and made an appointment to have them come out. Two employees arrived and assessed the situation and started digging test holes to find where it was coming from. This was not easy because it is under a bunch of old Rhododendrons, but they finally located the problem area and dug down to find a broken fitting at the valve. They dug out around this and repaired the pipe fitting and filled it in, and checked it out. We were appreciative of their timeliness and professionalism.

They sent two employees out within a couple of days of our call. The arrived on time and worked very hard for about 3 hours. They were professional and very informative. We did not request an estimate as we did not know what the problem was.

I initially saw them at home and garden show and looked them up on Angie's List. My experience with them has been great so far. Based on my experience so far I would recommend them. The technicians suggestions were excellent.

I think they are great, responsive, and on time. They have won several awards in the Portland area. I believe I am going to use them to landscape our new house. They may be a little bit high in price, but they are worth it. They will do everything for you from trees to ponds. You do get what you pay for.

Frustrating when calls are not returned.

This company was wonderful to deal with. They were on time and completed the work in the time they'd estimated, as well as accomplishing "extras" which were not a part of the original contract at no additional cost. In addition to updating heads on the front lawn and adding a sprinkler head in the center of the yard, they were able to dig up some existing pipe and reroute it to another zone, so I could have drip systems in areas we have changed over to vegetable gardens. They had to work not knowing the layout of our system (we're new owners) and were able to figure out where pipes were laid with minimal digging. Where they did need to dig, they did so carefully and cleaned up wonderfully. Where the lawn was disturbed, it was barely visible. The representative we worked with, Kirk, was a pleasure and we were impressed in how he found less expensive alternatives to solve our lawn watering challenges. He was good with communication and was right on the money when describing what work they'd need to do and the time & dollars it would take. They brought two guys to do the actual work, instead of one which meant the work was done in one day instead of the expected two days. Wonderful company to work with!

I had used this company previously to landscape and install a water feature in the backyard. They did a beautiful job, were prompt and courteous, did all of the work on time and came back several times to be certain we were happy. I wanted the front yard done, a much larger project, but it completely transformed the front of the house.

I found it to be expensive but once they paired it down it was done very well. The guy I spoke with was extremely thorough.

The first time Dave came to the house, he replaced all the old 1970's valves with updated equipment. The second time he rerouted some sprinkler patterns in the front yard for more efficient watering, and then the third time I had him replace the sprinkler heads in the front yard to more efficient and applicable ones and install some new locations on the side of the house. The new system better serves the mature landscaping and is more water conservative. Next spring I am having the company do extensive re-landscaping in the back yard and redo the sprinkler system also. We have a half acre of land and the back yard is the bigger part of that. Dave was always punctual and friendly. He had great ideas and worked quickly and effectively. I would definitely recommend this company.

The technician was late. When I called the office I was told that he was on his way and stuck in construction traffic. When he arrived he said he had been misinformed about the job sequence. He did the work efficiently. He offered an alternative type of sprinkler head; when I asked what the advantages were he said it would operate smoothly instead of with the tk-tk-tk of a regular head. I declined. He made the good suggestion to elevate the head, but when it was all done he said it would vibrate a lot and that he would look in his truck for something to stabilize it. Then he said the other type of head would have prevented the vibration and suggested I stabilize it with rebar and a hose clamp. He left me with work to do, and now I have a fairly unsightly installation. I wish he had told me all the implications before he did the job.

David Ferron was great to work with. He listened to my wants and concerns, showed concern for my budget, and followed up on items that needed adjustment later. It was their busy season, so the work took a comparably long time to complete, but as I was not in a particular hurry, this was not an issue. I was always kept in the loop as to how long things would take, my calls were returned within 24 hours, so I never felt like I was left hanging. When items came up that would add to the cost, I was notified in advance so we could decide together how to proceed and keep within budget.
