Description of Work: Annual checkup. They performed the usual checks and resettings as needed, and pointed out possible problem areas. | We have used this company for ten years and have been very satisfied. They are due to return next week for this years maintenance.

Description of Work: Our 23 year old gas furnace finally gave out. A-Temp came out and did a full home assessment and made recommendations for replacement. Since our air conditioning unit was the same age and most likely ready to go out as well we decided to replace both at the same time. Everyone involved from the initial service call through to final installation was great. Not the most inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Really appreciated the fact everyone on the install team is an A-Temp employee (not subcontractors). Not exactly what anyone wants to spend a big chunk of change on, especially right before Christmas, but glad we went with A-Temp.

Description of Work: They installed a new air conditioner. They also put our new furnace in. |They also come out and inspect both of them 2 or three times a year. We like this company and they do a A plus job for us.

Description of Work: Just annual maintenance and check up. Last year there were a couple of small items to repair. This year none. |I have well founded trust in A-Temp and their employees. Over the years (close to 10) They have always been honest and fair.

Description of Work: THE HEATING REPAIR INDUSTRY SHOULD BE RIDING THIS CO OUT OF BUSINESS, FIRST ALL CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE AWARE THEY ALL CARRY WHAT THEY REFER TO AS RESCUE MOTORS IN THEIR TRUCK. THEY ARE UNIVERSAL AND WILL FIT ALMOST ALL FURNACES. IF YOU LOOK THEM UP YOU WILL BE SHOCKED AT WHAT THEY REALLY COST 59.00 IS WHAT I FOUND. AND SOME ARE REBUILT. THEY CHARGE 400 TO 600 TO INSTALL IN AN HOUR. THIS TECK CHARGE A 100.OO TO CLEAN THE FAN. FIRST IT WAS 250 BUT END OF THE DAY HE HAD NOTHING ELSE TO DO SO IT CAME DOWN TO 100 HA HA HA IT IS REALLY INTERESTING TO FIND YOU CAN NEGOTIATE THE PRICE. | |I COMPLAINED TO THE OWNER AND I FELT HE HAD A LITTLE 3X5 CARD WITH A PAT ANSWER. IT WAS WORD FOR WORD FROM ONE OF THE RESPONSES HE HAD WRITTEN FROM ANOTHER CLIENT ON ANGIE'S LIST | |THE BOTTOM LINE CHECK OUT INFO AS USUAL BEFORE LETTING THESE PEOPLE DO YOUR WORK THERE ARE SO MANY RIP OFF ARTISTS IN THIS WORLD, I HATE TO SEE ALL THESE PEOPLE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. Description of Work: Replaced my furnace and cleaned ducks it went smooth. I have no complaints except the cost is on the high side.

Description of Work: Our propane-gas furnace wouldn't start. The A-Temp representative, Clay, did a thorough diagnosis of our system and made repairs needed. He also advised us about ways to reduce our energy use. Clay was excellent in all ways.

Description of Work: Joel evaluated our heating system and advised us about reducing costs of propane fuel. He gets a definite "A" for his service. As a teacher he was great. He patiently answered all our questions, explained different options, told us about federal and state rebates and incentives, and in the end helped us make the best choice of a new system. We'll save $2800/year and pay off the system in about 5 years, after which we will pocket huge savings. We've used A-Temp before and have always found them to be a superior contractor.

Description of Work: I have used them for several years. Their service has improved the last year. Approximately two-three years ago, one serviceman did not recommend I purchase two filters up front, for the year, although the filters were to be changed twice a year. I did not remember to purchase a filter mid year, and practically wrecked my $8000 furnace. |They gave me a free service contract for a year, and lowered the price on my $800.00 expense bill. Some service providers were more informative than others, like telling me that I should vacuum out internal furnace areas when I change the filters twice a year |Now, they send out reminder notices, that they didn't do that year. But, I may have to take responsibility for not calling for an appointment, even though there was no reminder. I have a reminder for this year.
