Great, he checked everything out and explained the entire process. Having prior knowledge of my air/heating I decided to have them do my yearly maintenance to keep my new unit running efficiant.

I contacted this excuse for a company because they showed up as one of the dealers on the york website. I clearly explained I had a problem with my mini-split air handler and needed to have it replaced. They said they will have one of their advisors come out to take a look. So we scheduled an appointment. They night before the appointment, they called to confirm. However, on the morning of the appointment, they called me 30 minutes before they were supposed to come and told me they don't do mini-splits. Are you kidding me? Wasted mine and my tenants time. What a joke!

Overall, it was a good, quick service.

They're very good, no problem, I haven't got any problems from providers either from Angie's List or neighbors. They were here when they said they would be.

Justin didn't arrive as late as most other repairmen do, he was like half an hour off late, but he came across as very condescending to me. He looked down on me for choosing dual purpose smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors and insisted on using the outlet he brought for the dryer, when I had already bought one at Lowe's. He also tried to place the smoke detectors in unreasonably high areas and I had to put my foot down there. He did do the work well and did place the smoke detectors where I wanted in the end (Except the bedroom, which he insisted on placing it a higher point depsite me asking for a lower point), but his services were too expensive for what they were and his attitude was a huge problem for me quite frankly.

Job was done correctly by the tech.s, but after taking my credit card info, their supervisor later billed me over $400.00 just to install a fan I had purchased. Their rates are very questionable, and as it turns out, extremely high. There stated estimates are not trustworthy and we’re changed after the job was completed. If you hire them you very likely will get shafted. Do not use this company.

I bought a deal here on Angie's List after a very clear and detailed email communication with A-Temp's support team where I provided my furnace brand and model number in order to ensure that we would be able to use the filter included in the deal. I also included all information regarding the Angie's List deal in order to provide proof of payment, set up an appointment and everything seemed fine. The service technician showed up in time and did the service on the furnace as expected. But then the trouble started... Apparently, our furnace didn't qualify for the included filters, despite the fact that we had checked in advance, and we were charged an additional $44 for a filter. There was also no records of our Angie's List deal in his information. This led to repeated phone and email communications with Angie's List support and accounting, and at the end of the day not worth the deal.

Arrived early, got to work immediately and did the job efficiently and well.He did a thorough , one hour job of making and documenting all the required tests. He replaced the filter for me and reported that he found nothing that needed correction. What more could you ask?? Excellent!

Great job installing our new furnace. Accommodated our special requests. Beautiful work on new vent stack. Very courteous and professional. Best of all, they discovered and repaired extensive water damage to the plenum underneath the furnace/AC caused by the faulty work of a previous contractor without charging us more than the contracted price for the installation. We will definitely use this contractor for any future heating and cooling needs.

Overall, fine, though because of scheduling issues the installation of our new furnace did not happen till the following week (meaning we went through several days in Dec. without heat).

A-temp receptionist/scheduler was very friendly and got us scheduled quickly. The technician was punctual, efficient, and polite. Price for services was very fair.

J.R. was wonderful and helpful. Very happy with the service. Signed up for their Comfort Club regular maintenance program. Am having my ducts cleaned tomorrow.

The experience was actually quite pleasant. The tech was prompt, knowledgeable and very thorough. He spent almost 2 hours checking and cleaning, and was very open and gracious about my numerous questions. He suggested reasonable improvements to my system (e.g. a more efficient filter) yet never pursued any avenue that even touched on unreasonable, and never applied any pressure tactics. It was apparent his sole goal was to educate me and make a few suggestions, nothing more. His time and expertise were greatly appreciated, especially for the quite reasonable cost. The only downside (and a testament to their popularity) is that the first appointment I could get was 6 weeks out from when I called. Well worth the wait...

We use them pretty much primarily for everything.Predictable pricing and really great. I like their timeliness, communication and their pricing.

There was no charge since I bought it from them. The price was reasonable. They were friendly at telling me the details of how the system worked.

They did not do the duct cleaning that I wanted them to do but I think there was an extra charge for that.

But A Temp did not charge for the multiple times they came back. Then went above and beyond in negotiating with the manufacturer to completely replace the unit with the latest model. The installed the new unit and charged only what was originally quoted for the labor repair and offered a new parts and labor warranty (which I gladly took).

We have been customers for eight years. Service has declined over the last three years. Office staff fail to schedule service per their records, then miscommicate with techs and customers. Each atemp interaction is fraught with problems. Technicians do a good job. It is very difficult to work with this company. Owner and his daughter are non responsive.

The repair guy was great and he did good work this rating has nothing to do with him. It was the company's office staff that was challenging to deal with. Despite buying a voucher for their services on Angie's list and giving a print out of the voucher to the technician (as I was told on the phone & by the tech to do) I kept getting hounded by a woman from the company telling me that I hadn't paid for the services. She informed me that Angie's List doesn't pay them and I needed to provide a credit card number on the phone (despite telling her that I already been charged on my card for that amount). She kept insisting and left several messages. This was contrary to everything I read on the voucher and had been told. A day or two later I was called by someone else in the office trying to solicit more business and I told this woman about the situation and that "arguing with someone over an incorrect bill" doesn't make me want to do business with a company. She didn't see a balance on my account and had no idea why the other woman was calling me. I assume everything is fixed and ok but I really don't know. However, I continue to get persistent calls to join their maintenance club. No, thank you. I would rather go with a company that has an office staff that knows what they are doing and doesn't hound people the way they do.
