Not well. As a comfort club member we pay one year ahead for maintenance visits for furnace and AC. A service rep, not the one we requested, completed AC service in early summer. Each year the come in the Fall to service the furnace. A low level clerk, on the day of scheduled fall furnace, called and cancelled service, stating in the summer the AC tech. turned on the furnace and it was fine. So, as a comfort club member you pay ahead for service you never receive. In prior years they serviced the furnace and replaced the filter every Fall.

We pay them about $16 a month all year long. They are A grade.

I was very impressed by their desire to get it right. They had installed the a/c unit but for some reason it wasn't working and it was 5:00 p.m. on a Friday. They guys went back into the attic and figured out that Jacobs Heating/AC had screwed up the wiring when they had installed our furnace 6 months earlier. The guys fixed the wiring and everything worked.

My experience with A Temps was great. I initially contacted them online and they responded the next day. John came out and showed me the different options as well as pros and cons. I wasn't interested in air conditioning but he showed me how I could add a vent in the basement that would bring up the cool air should it get too warm on the main floor. I chose a furnace and set up the installation based on my work schedule. They (Rafael and Sergio) arrived as planned and went to work. Turns out they had to change the original plans for venting and had to spend a good amount of time running new pvc piping for air intake/exhaust. Despite having to work in a small space the job they did was very professional looking. They also had to add additional piping to separate the gas lines for the stove and furnace so each had it's own shutoff. The whole process took them nearly 12 hours, I don't even think they stopped for lunch. When they were done they tested the unit and made sure I knew how to use the thermostat. I am grateful they took the extra time to finish the project as I had to work the following day. The furnace works great, all the additional work they did (piping, patching of old access) looks very professional. they were respectful of my house and answered all my questions. I'm quite happy with this company.

They come out once a year to service our heating and A/c. They call us and remind us when it is time to service. We will use them again.

We were not real pleased with the results. We have used them for years. We have been in this house for 12 years and we have always used them. We needed a new furnace. The salesman came out and sold us on a top-of-the-line furnace because it had a fan that went on by increment. They delivered it and found it was too big to fit into the space. So, we had to go with some brand that we never heard of. It is basically what we had. We had to replace the one we had because it had problems, but the furnace in the house is in a closet in the hall. They had to take the drawer off to take the old furnace out and put the new one in which was fine. I had no problem, but when they put the drawer back on, they got it on wrong and I could hardly open it. I am still having problems getting it opened. There were some things like that we were not satisfied with. That was the only problem we have had with them though and of course it would be with a new furnace. The other thing about the furnace that the salesman convinced us to go with is that it had a top-filter where the filter has to be replaced only once-a-year rather than every three months and the furnace we got has the same filter system that we had which is a hassle. I have no idea what the price is because the furnace we ended up with cost less than the one that they originally quoted us because it was top-of-the-line, but I guess their price is as good as anyone. It is two months old and we have not had any problems with it. I guess it works as well as anything. They came when they said they were coming. The guy that worked to install the furnace was very good. I do not know if I would use them again. I have some reservations after our experience with the new furnace. For now, I would use them again only because we have a warranty on the thing and I pretty much have to use them for the warranty work.

It couldn't have gone better. Rick brought "the beast" and diligently cleaned each vent. He was very nice and we felt like we had a friend in our home.my sinuses cleared up by the next day.

we have used their services before at our old address and were impressed with their knowledge,professionalism and courtesy.so when we moved to our new home we found that the furnace and air conditioner were on their last leg. so we called atemp and they came out quickly and took care of everything.they had to improvise some of the piping because of new codes(home is 24 years old)and did so in an even better way than the old way it was.thanks guys!

Great experience all around. Office staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and efficient. Service techs are really knowledgeable and are happy to answer questions during service. I ended up enrolling in their Comfort Club after getting the details from the service tech on my first visit. There was no pressure at all to join, but it's a great deal if you get annual inspections and tuneups done on your HVAC. For the same cost as annual inspections you get: * Priority scheduling within 24 hours if you have a problem that needs service. * Annual safety and efficiency inspection on your heating and cooling. * Discounted pricing on any service you might end up needing, from minor services to complete new systems. * $50 credit toward the purchase of new equipment on the anniversary of your membership. (You can accumulate credit year after year, and apply up to $250 for a single piece of equipment, or $500 toward a new system.) I get a call in the spring to schedule A/C inspection and maintenance and a call in the fall to schedule furnace inspection and maintenance. One less thing to remember and it works great.

the salesman was excellent in explaining what we needed to be satisfied w/ our purchase. We had been low balled by other sales people saying we could get away w/ just a heat pump & cooling system w/out up grade of furnace. Even tho A-Temps quote was twice what the others had quoted we decided it would be worth the expense. their team came the next day & quickly & professionally installed the unit, they were done in less than 8 hrs. I can say that we are very pleased w/ the unit, it has kept us very comfortable. That one hot day we had recently, I kicked the thermostat down to 72 & the house was cooled in a matter of minutes.

-Service/Responsiveness/Professionalism are great and recommended. Happy about that. -Price of replacement part is about 4X greater than average price. Not happy about that.

There was no problems.

The service turned out great. They did a good job. My furnace and air conditioner was working great after they got done. The pricing was great. I have one issue with them. There was something else they did for me. For the air conditioning unit, they said that they could do that without me having to be there because the unit it outside. When I wasn’t here, they decided not to do it. It's because I guess there was a difference of communication. They had to come back out a second time to finish that one. There was that miscommunication.

They were great and it was very easy. They seem to do a good service.

Scheduling was a nightmare from the start. They left messages without referencing the property, so I had no idea what they were calling about. Once scheduled, a number of weeks out, they failed to show up after confirming that appointment time. They just told me that other appointments had run longer, and it was too late for them to send their tech out to try to make the appointment. This was after a number of calls I had made for status updates. As I had to take the day off of work in order to be here for their service call, it was an incredible waste of my time to wait for the tech all day, then having them not show. One would think that they would put a priority on rescheduling the appointment after the snafu. Nope. Had to wait a number of weeks for them to find an opening that would work. On the second try, they left a message the day before confirming the WRONG appointment time. When calling back we were able to resolve the mistake. When the tech arrived, he was polite and courteous, but he did not bring the replacement thermostat as agreed to, which was half of the reason for the appointment. So that work was not even done. Also, the information he passed on about replacement thermostats contradicted all of the major manufacturers information. Either ALLof the manufacturers are wrong, or the tech's info wasn't exactly accurate. Now I'm left with having to do work myself that the company was supposed to do and neglected to do. Finally, I received an emailed receipt that said that I agreed verbally that all of the work was completed to my satisfaction. I was never presented with an option of signing the work order, or agreeing that everything was taken care of. I find the ethics of the company taking it upon themselves to fill in my approval without my consent to be disturbing.

My call was for a yearly tune-up on a Carrier Infinity gas furnace unit, installed in 2008. The first technician replaced the air filtration screen and showed me how to do it and how often, then opened up the main compartment to find that the seal of the inducer had failed and leaked water constantly-- rusting the gas ignition box and body of the furnace! He explained probable causes for the failure and advised to call the installer to inquire about parts warranties (no luck, the model was a year out of warranty). I paid for the inducer to be replaced but received a callback from the technician the next business day: The inducer motor was a top-of-the-line model, and the cost for replacing all the damaged parts now exceeded half the value of the furnace. I opted to have a senior technician come out to advise about possibly replacing the furnace unit, and he was a real gem! He explained how to perform home-repair on the inducer to stop the leaking (a short-term fix), how to safely remove the inducer assemblage, and what tools and materials to use. Will certainly consult with A-TEMP when the furnace inevitably fails.
