Description of Work: I needed to rekey my locks and also key into the back of a one-way deadbolt that didn't have a keyhole on the other side. Instead of selling me a new lock, the locksmith created a handmade custom fitting for the old lock. It was not only much cheaper than a new lock, it also preserved the vintage look and feel of the house. A+ service, would definitely use again.

Description of Work: I bought an Angie's list deal for $60 that I thought would cover the minimal work I needed done to make my front door deadbolt to stop sticking. But it didn't cover labor which seems like the whole point. I paid $70 for a new screen door latch which I was fine with but paying an extra $40 for labor on top of the $60 seemed a little silly since Chris just enlarged the latch holes and didn't really do any locksmithing. He was an extremely nice, helpful and professional person however and my complaint is not with him, more with the vagueness of the Angie's List "deal."

Description of Work: I discovered that the key to my house, which I had had someone leave underneath something on my deck, was not there at 4:30pm. I called A AAAwesome Locksmiths and was told exactly how much it would cost. He arrived within 45 minutes, and changed out 3 locks for me.

He called promptly, showed up exactly on time and did everything he could to ease my worries. When he arrived he had a good sense of humor (which helped calm me down) and was fast, efficient and professional. He was recommended to me and I in turn will recommend him to my friends.
Description of Work: Chris Cook came to unlock a house in which the keys were left inside. The doors & locks were older and he found a door that he unlocked with no damage or even a sign that we had unlocked it without a key. It didn't take long and the work was very good.
