Description of Work: We made contact with this company to discuss regular annual maintenance service as well as recommendations for updating our current system with new equipment given that our system is over 20 years old. Folks were both friendly and informative. We are very supportive of local businesses given that we live in a small town and feel the need to support our local businesses/neighbors. We will be using this company when we move forward with the replacement of our heating/cooling unit.

Description of Work: On a Saturday I found myself with a gas furnace that was no longer working. I called various places in my area and learned that most places don't operate on Saturday. Then I called Western Heating and Cooling and talked to Darcy. She told me that they had three people in the field that day but their schedules were pretty full. She recommended another company that was closer to my location but said to call back if I didn't have any luck. After striking out I called back and Darcy asked me to describe the problem I was having and she quickly figured out that it was simply a matter of replacing the batteries in my thermostat. I didn't even know there were batteries in my thermostat. Feeling a little bit foolish was a small price to pay compared to what I would have to shell out for a service call. Darcy, you are my hero.

+ -1 moreMy phone call was answered promptly by a very pleasant lady who scheduled an appointment for a technician to do regular PM on my heating system. The tech arrived a few minutes early, explained to me what he was going to do and showed me how to do my own maintenance on the four filters. He did his best to improve access to the filters due to an original tight installation of the housing. He kept a clean work site and finished promptly.

Description of Work: Doug and Judd removed existing duct work and reinstalled it to accommodate a new staircase. They assisted the homeowner in selecting a heat pump system for a newly constructed art studio.
