Joe called me at the set time and after getting online together, he was able to tune up our computer. He set up a better brouser and solved the problems we were having with getting on some sites. He even added some software for us to use in the future to keep our computer running well. We are very pleased with the service and would highly recommend Tekology Inc to others.

Overall it went well. The only part that cocerns me now is that Teknogy sold me a monthly service to provide security for my computer. That sevice is $19/mo. I brought in a Norton Security program that I had purchased from Fryes Electronics in Wilsonvile Oregon. The technician did not want to install the Norton system. I think that part of the low price for the computer tune up is to get more monthly paying customers into their own security service. Although that service appears to be working, I am not sure that I really need it or that the Norton program that I purchased would not also do the job without an additional monthly bill.

Well, but didn't sound real professional. What can you expect from a geek squad though.

I liked the quick response on the Big Deal, and was able to schedule the visit quickly, which was important to me. I had the option of an online tune-up or taking it in. I chose to take it to them, and was seen quickly. Tim advised me it would be about an hour-and-a-half, and pointed me in the direction of the closest Starbucks. I returned a little early, and only had to wait a few minutes till it was done. He took the time to explain to me what he had done, and, at my request, advised me on the points of getting a different hard drive.

They were great and very helpful. I thought they would be able to come out to the house with the big deal, but that was much more. I was quite pleased.

Nate and Time were great. Our TV and surround sound had not been working correctly for months. We were back to using 4 different remotes despite a very good universal remote system that was not working correctly. We also needed to have our home wireless network tweaked as there were many dead spots in the house. We couldn't be happier. They spend 3-4 hours here assessing our systems, trading out broken and jerry-rigged wires and cables. They even changed out the terminal boxes for our internet to make them neater and ensure long term connectivity. By the time they were finished the systems worked better than they ever have. They sat with us to ensure the system sound and picture for all settings (TV, Blu-Ray, music) worked for us and we knew with one click of the button how to make each work. Nate also took a few minutes to look at my MAC computer which had inadvertently gotten filled up with duplicate pictures thanks to a users error with streaming. He was able to clean it up enough in 10 minutes to down load a cleaner that really helped fins duplicates and clean up the hard drive. This part...a bonus! We will definitely have them back out to work on our home computing network.

Recently moved into a new home and getting adequate wifi coverage has been challenging. Nate made some suggestions on newer wifi access points, placed them in optimal locations and validated good coverage and performance around our property. Additionally, I needed to have some phone wiring between structures on the property toned out and verified to be in working order. Nate took care of that issue as well. Found him to be professional, responsive, and easy to work with.

After a misdiagnosis by Best Buy's Geek Squad (they said it was my mother board that had died), Nate and Tim at Tekology had took a look at my computer. An hour after I had dropped it off, my machine was repaired and ready for me to pick-up. It's nice when you find a service provider that is not only knowledgeable, but will not try to squeeze every penny out of you. When I have any computer issues (or when I need my home sound system rewired or a new computer built) I will come to these guys!

I recently engaged Tekology's services to resolve some speed/service issues with my computer and email service. Nate and his team were upfront about the cost and time and did an excellent job providing a comprehensive tune up to my computer. Since having gotten the computer back, the speed/performance is distinctly noticeable. Nate has since been very responsive to some additional issues I've been experiencing with outgoing email functionality for my small business. As a small business owner, I would highly recommend Nate's team as your IT Partner for your small business.

Nate did an excellent job with our home computer, wifi system.

The service was provided at the Tekology Inc office. The price of service included purchase of the back-up device. There were no surprises in cost or time, as both were addressed by phone before day of service. The team was very professional, polite and patient in helping me to undertstand what needed to be done to download data, and proceed with a tune-up to the laptop computer. The tune-up included setting up a system so that in case of future laptop difficulties, Tekology wiould be able to remotely access my laptop, saving time and money. Being technologically challenged there was much to be explained. The initial phone call inquiry and subsequent calls were either picked up immediately or returned very promptly. They were always polite and enthusiastic. I am sure I will be requesting their assistance again.

These guys really love their work and it shows. They were professional in arranging for appointments and bids, and efficient in their installation. They were generous and enthusiastic in sharing information. They solved 2 main issues for us: assembled an upgraded home theater AND made the sound 200% better than it had been. I hadn't been able to stand listening to them since we had had another company install them in that room, and assumed that the problem lay with speaker degradation and/or terrible room accoustics. Wrong on both counts. Nate and Tim brought the zings, rumbles and ambient sound by appropriate placement of rear speakers and installation of good speaker wire. The television can be positioned at at almost a 90 degree angle if desired; pulled out for a more immediate theater experience, and then tucked back onto the wall where it sits relatively inconspicuously.

He is amazing. He is absolutely phenomenal. He is sweet, responsive and very smart.
