Description of Work: Replaced couch and loveseat seat and back cushions. |This was the second time we have used this shop and everything went very well a it did the first time. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Description of Work: They reupholstered two cushions for an older chair. they also re-inforced bands that the lower cushion sits on. I thought they were pricey, but the work is excellent.

Description of Work: Generally, I am happy with the outcome of the reupholstering done on two pieces of furniture. I had a chaise altered in style and recovered and am very happy with the job. The only issue I had was the time quoted for completion. It took nearly twice as long as estimated and necessitated in my calling several times to check on the progress. The second piece was done in the amount of time estimated and I am quite happy with the results. The man I dealt with was Pedro and he was helpful in selecting the fabrics. He was always polite and professional and quite apologetic about the delay I experienced. He is what will bring me back to Kim's with further business.

Description of Work: The service we required was re-stuffing my husband's large leather chair and also 3 leather cushions on our couches. Pedro was on time exactly when he said he would be for the estimate. He completed the estimate in a few minutes and took away the furniture that day! We were on vacation so there was no hurry for the pieces to be done right away. I was amazed on how well they did the chair as it was broken down on the arms and flat. What we got back was excellent! It looked new again and at such a great price! We would recommend Pedro and Kim's to anyone! Thanks Pedro!!!!

Description of Work: On our black leather sectional sofa, they 1) replaced foam in the seats, 2) replaced back foams and added lombard support and 3) raised it by replacing very short legs with 4'' black leather-looking ball-shaped legs. This saved us several thousand dollars by doing this, rather than buying a whole new sectional. After the work was completed, our sectional looks new anyway! By putting the new foam and lombard system in, it stretched the leather a bit which decreased some of the creases that had formed as it does in all leather.

Description of Work: Restyled and reupholstered three altar rail kneelers for All Saints Episcopal Church. Changed the shape from knife-edge to box cushion in order to preserve the hand-done needlepoint tops.

Description of Work: Upholstery of a custom headboard for a round bed. Headboard is semi-circular with over 80 tufted buttons, and about 35'' high overall, with wavy decorative top piece.
