Mark was really good. We needed a total re-pipe of a house we were selling per buyers request. He did the job as requested promptly and went the extra mile per request of the buyers agent. His work passed inspection first time around. He als did some kitchen sink repairs. If he was going to be delayed he always called to let me know. Since the house was vacant and we had to meet him there that was extremely helpful and thoughtful. He would call when delayed even by 15 minutes!!! Who does that anymore. Other bids I received were more money and/or unresponsive with written bids. We will always use Mark and recommend him for any job. He is just a really nice guy to work with.

Our 1973 split level house had low water pressure/volume, and based on discussions with the home inspector he said the main water line would likely need to be replaced. Later conversations with our neighbors confirmed that almost all of them had done this within the last 5-10 years, and seen great improvement. We had 4 guys come in to bid; a couple came out, did a cursory review of our set up and left very low estimates via voice mail that left out a couple of things we had asked for. The other two, which included MD Plumbing, were very professional and thorough. They asked lots of good questions and brought up ideas that we had not thought to consider. They really helped walk us through the process. Mark even sent over the Directional Drilling guy to check out our place - he lived close by and it was a little over 100 feet from the Water meter to our garage where we wanted the new water line and shut off valve to be installed. That's longer than the average job, I think. Both plumbers worked with us on the bids since my husband was willing to do some of the excavation work (uncovering the utility lines, etc.) But when I received those last two bids, MD Plumbing was significantly lower and that made the choice much easier. We had Mark at MD Plumbing replace the old 3/4" galvanized water line with a 1-1/2" pex line to accomodate the new sprinkler system. He said we could have used 1-1/4" but my husband insisted on the larger gauge pipe :-) Mark also by-passed the old water shut-off that was originally installed in the garage floor and installed a nice new above ground shut off valve. And he installed a new hot water heater, since ours was 15 years old and also full of rust. So far so good! No leaks. We got a big improvement in water pressure and water volume to the house...no more scalding if someone flushes the toilet when someone else is in the shower. We have not hooked up the automatic sprinkler system yet (hopefully this summer) so will come back and add to the review if needed. We will definitely invite MD Plumbing back to bid when we are ready to upgrade the plumbing in the rest of the house!

I called MD Plumbing and said that I would like to have someone come out and put in brand new toilet tank kits in two of my toilets. I provided the brand and model of the toilet, etc. They determined the best kit to install. We set a date to have the work done. The man showed up on time with the two toilet tank kits and new valves. The work was completed in a timely manner and the work was excellent.

Mark was friendly and professional answering all my questions. the inspector did have to come out twice due to a faulty leak checker but all was completed in 2 days. 2 months afterward i did see rust covering the exterior connections. Mark responded quickly and painted them. I've had no problems since.

Having used Mark before, we knew his prices were reasonable, so we didn't request a quote. We scheduled a time and he showed up promptly. When Mark tried to shut off the water to the house, he discovered that the main water valve didn't turn off completely. We could only get the water to turn off part way and had a constant trickle. So Mark replaced the main water turn off valve also. He was there for most of the day and completed all work to our complete satisfaction. When he presented our bill, I was surprised to find how reasonable it was. I had expected him to charge more. We will use Mark for all our plumbing needs. He is absolutely awesome!!

Mark was very nice, knowledgeable, and did a great job. He was friendly and personal and easy to work with. Always on time and went the extra mile for us.

Mark replaced both of my toilets, and I am very grateful that he was the plumber I called. He was helpful in deciding what we really needed in style and features. When one of the toilets had a manufacturer's defect, he was quick about getting it replaced and back in good working order. I will definitely call him again.

Called Mark, the owner, and he agreed to perform the repair work I needed and was able to complete the job to my total satisfaction within a few days of my first contact with him. It was a pleasure to have such prompt and efficient service and I have already called him a second time for a new problem which he took care of the same day I called.

I called Mark after finding MD Plumbing on Angie's List. He was awesome. He communicated with me about what he was doing - and showed me the parts that had the issue. Basically, he cleaned up the issues created by someone else - and what a price deal - quality at a great price! I will definitely use him again when I need a plumber.

This job sounds straight-forward, but I hadn't even been able to pinpoint the problem on my own. Mark found what was wrong immediately and fixed it quickly. Along the way he gave me a lot of useful information about the current state of the plumbing in my house, as well as tips about small jobs I could (potentially) handle myself. Mike was pleasant and friendly, and his fees were much more reasonable -- for better results -- than those of the plumber I had for my previous incident.

When our old garbage disposal began to leak and spewed water all over under our sink, we needed a plumber to come out to replace the disposal as soon as possible.. It was after hours, so when I called, I got an answering machine. I left a detailed message of what we needed, and Mark called promptly at 8:00 the next morning. He was able to fit us in that afternoon after finishing his other jobs. He kept us informed several times during the day about his schedule and when we could expect him. It has been our experience to not find this kind of reliability in many tradespeople. This also showed respect for us and for our time. Mark was able to provide us with a great disposal for the same cost as our local home improvement store. So that saved us a trip to purchase the disposal. Mark gave us several options for selecting the disposal, and advised us on what he thought was the best for us, which was not the most expensive option. I really appreciate that kind of fairness and professionalism. His labor cost was very reasonable and was for only 1 hour. Mark and his helper were very thorough and professional. Our home was built in the 60's with galvanized pipes, and we're sure Mark will be back to help us with future plumbing issues.

Other than the fact that Mark and Duane appear to have too much work to do and we had some scheduling issues that were not serious - the overall experience was great. Mark kand Duane are professional, courteous and thorough.

Mark is always very personable and considerate. I have enjoyed working with him in the past and will call on him for all of our plumbing issues. It is nice to have someone you can trust.

Mark has a lot of experience in his field of work. He is very professional, very friendly, has a great personality, and easy to work with. He even took the time to teach me some things I can do on my own. Very well done. Good Job!

We have had Mark to our house many times over the last year. Our home has original plumbing from the 60s and as such we seem to be on a roll for issues. He has fixed sinks, showers, toliets, washing machine water pipes, installed faucets and evaluated our entire piping system. Mark has always fit us in and came out with a solution for the issue at hand as well as no pressure recommendations for longer term solutions as well. We can't speak highly enough of Mark. He is responsive, honest and clearly experienced. You won't go wrong with Mark!

Our toilet kept running and running. We called Mark with M D Plumbing. He was referred to us from a friend. He said we didn't need to replace everything, only some parts. Great work at a very fair price. It was a pleasure to work with him. We will call him again if we have any plumbing problems.

Came out on Sunday morning to do the work. The day before, the owner of the company had explained a possible fix for our problem which he encouraged me to try. I was unable to do this and he came out to complete the work and fix other problems. Throughout the process, an attempt was made to educate me on how to fix these problems in the future. The experience was very positive and we will call again when we need a plumber.

It doesn't get any better than this. Mark arrived within one hour after I called. He replaced the the old valve and part of the pipe and was finshed about an hour after he arrived. His charges were very reasonable. I have used other plumbers over the years but M D plumbing will be my first choice from now on. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

The job took longer than I expected but only because parts had to be special ordered. However, Mark made sure to let me know that I had not been forgotten. MD Plumbing were very professional and courteous and I was pleased with their work. Since we have an old house, I know we are looking at having to replace the pipes in the future. I would not hesitate to call them again.

The drain stopped working on Sunday night, before Memorial Day. Needless to say, we were desperate to have our sink working again! Upon referral from a friend, I called Mark on his cell phone and was able to schedule his visit for just 3 hours later. He disconnected the pipes below and successfully cleared the drain, then completely filled the sinks with water and drained them to insure that both sinks were indeed working correctly before leaving. He was very personable and professional. I will definitely use MD Plumbing again!
