Excellent on all accounts

This company seemed to be very knowledgeable & presented many options. I chose to go with a lower bidder.

The estimator came out right away when I called. He said their minimum charge was $200, and it would cover the work. He said they were working 4 weeks out, but would call me if they could come out any sooner. They would be doing the actual work from my neighbor's yard (easier access). I requested at least a two day heads up. After two weeks, they called on a Thursday and said they would be up on Monday. They arrived on Monday about 9AM, and were done before 10:30. They did a good job of trimming and cleaning up after themselves. Took all trimmings away. When they left, I was going to pay them but General Tree sends a bill, which arrived two days later. I guess if you couldn't be there to supervise the work, it wouldn't be a big deal as they do a good job and you can pay through the mail.

Called during normal business hours, got their voice mail, and left a long detailed voice mail explaining what was needed, where I was located, and my phone number. It's been over a week and no one has bothered to call me back.

I asked to be contacted via email in late June. Tim Williams called me to set up an appointment. He arrived on time and was very nice. He listened to what I wanted to have done and came up with a solution. The workers called to tell me the date they would come by to perform the work. I wasn't home that day and when I came home the area they cleared away looked wonderful! It's adjacent to my neighbors driveway and my neighbor stopped me one day to say thank you for cleaning off their driveway... it hadn't been that clean in a long time. General Tree had cleaned it. All in all I am very happy and wouldn't hesitate to call General Tree Service again for yard work.

The company was very prompt with their estimate. They told me up front how backed up they were. They then found a free afternoon right away and everything was done in about a week.

Everytime I look up into our very large walnut tree, I am so glad that it was pruned so carefully & thoroughly! It is the BEST that it has ever been done! I love it, the way the light comes thru, but it gives us enough shade at the same time! Although the crew forgot to pick up a pile of brush & we had to call them back, it apparently was a communication error. I would definitely have them again. They were also very careful around the multiple other plants I have under the tree! They also had to prune around an electric wire, so although the work is expensive, it is definitely worth getting a company like this to do the work!

Arborists arrived on time, completed work and cleaned up thoroughly.

This was the second time I have hired them to prune my orchard. They have consistently done a good job and are very efficient. They tend to be speedy, but I feel worth it for the job that needs to be done. All individuals involved have always been very professional.

Kevin Murphy was my representative and was very informative and helpful. I had wanted to top my tree to get it under control, but he convinced me that the tree would be damaged by that. The crew came out and instead thinned it and removed dead branches. It looks great now, and I'm glad I had them do the work. Two other companies I contacted were going to top the tree for me. I'm thankful that I talked to Kevin before I made my decision.

The crew arrived on time and was very professional and courteous. The person in charge checked in with me before they started any work and again when they were finished to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction. This very large tree was in a tiny area between my fence and house. They were amazing! They were so careful where they brought the limbs down and also very careful when they dragged the wood out. The clean up was fantastic! I know some people just don't seem to get along, so I was not concerned too much after reading those bad comments from one other customer. My friend had highly recommended them and so I gave them a try. I'm so glad I did, and I will call them for any other landscape work I have done! The price was a little higher then some of the other bids I got, but I really think it was worth it! Like they always say, you get what you pay for, and if you want to be completely satisfied, it's worth a little extra money!

Very displeased. Contact always involved several rounds of phone tag. Making a commitment in writing, waiting a long time for service, under staffing the job (the bid was for 4 but 2 showed up), failing to provide the service and then asking for additional $$$ for the service would lead me to pause before recommending this organization.

Staff was professional and the work done was excellent. The consultant who visited to discuss the job was very knowledgeable. Company compromised communication a bit in order to fit the job in to a busy schedule. They in fact managed to move the completion of our job up by a month. Their speedy scheduling did make it impossible to arrange to be present when the work was completed. A pile of debris was left at completion of the work. After a call to report this, they quickly came out to remove it at no additional charge.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD. I USED TO USE OTHER SERVICES AND SWITCHED TO THEM ABOUT FOUR YEARS AGO. I'VE BEEN TOTALLY SATISFIED SINCE. THEY DO AN EXCELLENT JOB.

IT HAS BEEN FINE. THEY ARE A GREAT COMPANY. THEY RETURN PHONE CALLS RIGHT AWAY, AND THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE AND ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY HAVE GOOD FOLLOW THROUGH. THEY ARE JUST A LITTLE HIGH WITH THE PRICE.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE FAIRLY OVERPRICED, FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK THEY DID. THEY BASICALLY DID THE BARE MINIMUM OF WHAT WAS NECESSARY. I FELT THE PEOPLE WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE. I JUST FELT THAT WHAT THEY DID WASN'T ENOUGH FOR WHAT IT COST.

THEY ARE VERY GOOD. I HAVE HAD OTHER COMPANIES, AND I SWITCHED ABOUT FOUR OR FIVE YEARS AGO. I'VE BEEN VERY SATISFIED SINCE THEN. THEIR QUALITY DESERVES MANY COMPLIMENTS.

OVERALL, WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY COME AND DO THE WORK THAT IS ASKED OF THEM AND WE HAVEN'T REALLY EVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH OUR LAWN.

THEY ARE A GREAT COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. THEY HAVE BEEN DOING WORK FOR US SINCE SEPTEMBER OF 2003. I ENJOY THE FACT THAT I DON'T HAVE TO CALL AND SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THEM, THEY AUTOMATICALLY COME OUT EACH SPRING AND FALL TO DO THE WORK. IT'S ONE LESS THING THAT I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT.
