Description of Work: Flagg Tree Service was reasonably priced compared with other tree service companies. They gave a 10% discount for Angie's List. They told me what to expect when giving the estimate. They were punctual, efficient, and thorough. They cleaned up the sawdust & chips. Further, they hauled the old wood away at no extra cost, which another tree service would have charged. I highly recommend this company!

 + -1 moreIt went wonderful. Actually got a call back the same day which I called 6 companies and they were the only ones to call back the same day. Told me over the phone what the price would most likely be and he would come out and look at. Came out within 24 hours to my schedule. Very polite clean and professional. And still said that it would be $175.00 with clean up and answered all my questions on how to keep the tree in better health.
Description of Work: Had a big Cherry Tree in front of my house that needed intense pruning and we needed advice, know nothing about trees with clean up.

 + -1 moreI called to ask for a bid and that day received reasonable bid. His crew showed up early the next week. He did call to reschedule because of an emergency, but he showed up the next day. The work was completed and everything cleaned up as we requested.
Description of Work: Major trimming of a large elm. The tree was trimmed, the larger branches were cut into manageable lengths, and the smaller branches were chipped and left as we requested.

 + -1 moreTom was punctual when keeping in contact with us and setting a time for the falling of the tree. His bid was very reasonable in comparison to the other 3 bids we had. His workers were very professional and worked quickly. They really knew what they were doing. We and our neighbors are extremely happy with the work they did. The tree was kind of in an awkward place, but they did a great job. We would definitely call them again and would recommend them to everyone!
Description of Work: They cut down a huge maple tree between our driveway and the neighbors. They trimmed the tree and then cut the larger branches, taking it down in pieces. They shredded, on the spot, the small stuff and cut the larger pieces into small chunks. They cleaned everything up when completed. They did a great job!

Scheduled the work for 8:30 the next morning, and arrived on time with his crew. The tree was down and everything removed and area cleaned up within the hour. (The crew even put out garbage bin on the street for pick up since their trucks would have blocked the pick up.) Highly recommend this company.

 + -1 moreThey had fast, efficient service. Clean up was good also. Considering the close locale to the house and neighbors, they were swift and accurate with taking the limbs and trunk down.
Description of Work: I received his bid last summer. It was comparable to others I had received. We ended up postponing the project till Nov., but he still honored his original bid. We had a 30', 23 yr old redwood tree removed. The tree was located about 12' from our house and next to neighbor's fence. It seemed treacherous but apparently a common project for Flag. We also had a nearby apple tree pruned as well. Both trees were too close to the house and roof. His men took care of the job in about 1.5 hrs., cleaned up after themselves, and removed the wood. We especially appreciated his service because we thought many tree-service companies were busy this time of the rainy season, and he was willing to come out the week we called. We need some more trees pruned and will call upon Tom and Flag Tree Service this summer.

The main tree we were concerned about, healthwise, can be saved and there's some thinning to be done. We'll have Tom do the job when the timing is right. Tom quickly provided the information we needed to get on with our building process.
Description of Work: We purchased property in Dundee where we will build our custom home. It has several large trees, some of which were worrisome either because of location to the building site or health of the trees. We had Tom Flag come give us his opinion.

We agreed on a price and set up a time for the work to be performed. His crew showed up early and Tom was present also. I was impressed with the crew cutting the tree down. They were careful not to harm the house and property. They thoroughly cleaned up the property. I was pleased with their work.

 + -1 moreFlag Tree is wonderful! They are professional, know their craft, punctual, courteous, and great to work with. They cleaned up so well that you would never know they had been here, and believe me, there was quite a mess of debris. This is the fourth time we have used their services.
