I moved into a new home and called first thing in the morning after the move. They sent someone right out. He was very friendly and professional and got the job done quickly. He even noticed one of the doors was a bit off in closing and was going to fix it by adjusting the lock but on further review he noticed one of the bolts in the hinge wasn't fully in which was causing it to not be properly aligned and corrected it at no charge. I plan on using this company again in the near future for other needs.

Phillip came out at the alloted timeframe and got right to work. He drilled the front door for a new deadbolt, changed the keys required for all the doors, and installed a new handset and deadbolt on the garage door. He then removed the metal security door as I requested due to the impeding roof beam that blocked its ability to open fully. Phillip did it all quickly and professionally in about 2 hours. I have used Davis Lock and Safe for key copies in the past, and I am highly impressed with the professionalism for a home visit to take care of the work. I would definitely use their services in the future.

It was great, the locksmith arrived well before the end of the window we were given, and even discovered a lock we didn't know we had which also needed to be changed. He was friendly and efficient, and every lock works smoothly and well.

I actually spoke with the owner while I was there paying and he was extremely generous and helpful. While I was there I "liked" them on Facebook for a discount and the owner went above and beyond in giving me a discount. They staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. They gave me the right information I needed (the Honda store did not), and helped me make a better decision in order to save time & money. When they gave me a quote they came in under budget and under time... overall I loved this experience and will highly recommend them to all my family & friends.

Replaced both front & back doors during a remodel. Had the locks keyed the same but the back door lock has never worked right - only worked with the master key but none of the duplicates consistently. It has been an inconvenience for our family for more than a year. Phil @ Davis had it fixed and working smoothly in minutes. Wish I had done taken care of sooner!

I really sensed they were as interested in helping me solve the problem, because they asked for photos, and called me back once they'd reviewed them to advise me. They stayed on the line while I took the steps, answering my questions along the way until I successfully popped the lock. They've earned my business in the future. Kudos to DL&S!

This company has very competent and helpful people. It must be run by the owner. They cut my keys just fine. The reason I'm writing this is that I saw how they were "good Samaritans" to a van that had problems outside of their business. It was obvious that the people in the van couldn't afford much. Still, a guy came out on a very raining day and helped these people out. I will say that they aren't "friendly on the outside". Do you know when you go into the door of a business and you are greeted with a big smile, perky attitude and an almost too-good desire to help you? Well, you won't get that here. They are really down to business. The staff was helpful and confidant, but its sort of like going into an old-school hardware store...they know what they are doing, but there isn't a lot of glitz.

I needed to have a key duplicated for our later model Accord that included reprogramming all keys to our car. He performed the service for about half the cost of what the dealer quoted. His work was quick, professional, worked right the first time and thoroughly tested before he was satisfied the job was done. We also a year before had been trying unsuccessfully to get a house key duplicated via a couple different hardware stores and after the final failure the clerk at the final store directed us to Davis Lock & Safe and voila 5 minutes later we had a key that worked smoothly and perfectly.

We stopped by Davis's lock & safe, it was busy and they said they would be right with us. Yes, we waiting less than three minutes, and was greeted with big smiles for coming in. We explained what we needed, three mailbox keys and three sets of front door keys. Additionally they modified the mailbox keys to accept a colored key identifier. Most helpful in all aspects with their service. We asked about briing in an old gum machine of which we lost the key 30 years ago. They said they could re-key it with no problems, and we have a freezer that the lock is stuck, again they said they could fix it, this time by coming to our house. There would be no charge for picking up the gum machine.

We then had a problem with our mailbox that had a damaged lock. We brought that in and they only charged us 5.00 for the labor to fix it. They worked on it for about 45 min. as well. In my lifetime this is by far the best locksmith service I have ever used. They are reasonable, reliable and we would highly recommend them.

Ok - I didn't notice until the next day that the front door did not work they come out 2 day later & fix it. They said they were not a part of angeis list so the coupon did not help & thats the reason i called them.

Installation went perfectly, and we love the key-less entries.

I brought 2 garage door locks in to the shop to have them rekeyed to match the front door lock. He did it while I waited and was very fast and efficient. A very good experience.

I had a new key made for my truck at home depot, but could only use it to unlock the doors and steering wheel. It would not start the truck because it was not a programmable key. Shortly after the previous owner had given me the second key, a friend lost the first key. I looked up locksmiths on angies list, and found davis lock & safe. When I went to the locksmith's office, the owner explained to me what the process was to get another key, and even convinced me to get a third key from him. The total cost for both keys was far less than the dealer estimate for one key only. It was well worth it to have functioning keys again. I also learned a lot about the education process of a locksmith. --jason

They were fine. They were good. They did a good, thorough job at a reasonable price. They were easy to get in touch with and easy to make an appointment with. They did good work.

It worked out okay. They took care of the job. The quality was okay. I would use them again depending upon where I am and what I need.
