Description of Work: This was a special offer. Had them spray under the house for ants. The ants were nesting under a poured slab addition which was 20ft from the nearest vent. Other companies I contacted would only spray through vents. This company was willing to go under the house if they agreed with me after inspecting. Excellent timely service.

Description of Work: I am reviewing this firm not because of their service but because of their sales tactics. I was approached by a salesman, Mr. Beau Doolittle, from this firm at about 7:30PM on the 17th of August. I observed Mr. Doolittle in our neighborhood of approximately 40 homes earlier today but at that time I had no idea who, or what, he was doing. Close to an hour after the first sighting I noticed he was talking to a neighbor across the street from our house. He was walking and pointing at areas along the front of our neighbor's house but I had no idea at that time that he was selling pest control services. Mr. Doolittle came to our house about two hours after speaking with our neighbor. He introduced himself and stated the name of his business and also provided a business card. He started his spiel about pest control and described the spiders and pests that he can remove from our house. He further stated that his firm specializes in new homes such as all of the ones in this neighborhood. He went on to mention that he had contracted with a couple of neighbors as well as giving their name. I have since learned that this is false and they are not under contract. I ended the conversation with him by telling him I would think about his offers and, if interested, I would contact him and then I said goodbye and closed the front door. I checked the Washington State Contractor's listings and found a listing for the firm with a valid license in Kirkland, WA. The business card shows an address for Pest Free in Beaverton, OR. I checked the Oregon State contractor's web page for information in Pest Free in Oregon but could not find a license for this firm in Oregon. I then checked the Better Business Bureau page and found a listing for Pest Free as "an accredited business" with the BBB but could not find out any information on the BBB page. Each time I would try to inquire about Pest Free I would be directed to another "search" page with a comment indicating that there was no information available for Pest Free. It made me wonder if the firm joined the BBB and then let the membership lapse. I would warn anyone approached at home or seeking services with this firm to do an exhaustive search for license information before signing any type of service contract. There are too many unanswered questions and questionable tactics surrounding this firm. I would not recommend them to anyone.
