BIGFOOT CONSTRUCTION

Initial call was never returned.

Mike completed the project a day before he was originally scheduled to begin, and when an unexpected kink came into the project (the demolition of a solid concrete step), they worked hard to make up for the hours lost and stayed late to finish. On time, cleaned up after themselves, deck looks great. Even took the time to teach me how to do the railing myself so we could save some money and installed the railing posts for me (just charged me for the materials). A little slow on the initial callback/showing up to drop off proposal, that is the only reason I gave him an average grade for responsiveness. Very pleased with the company.

Mike came to each meeting on time, performed the work specifications as agreed upon and on schedule as promised. I asked for additional brush removal not related to the fence project and this was done without an extra charge. The cost was substantially less than other bids. Overall, it was a pleasure to deal with Mike and Fausto and I could not be more pleased! They were very nice guys!

They're considerably cheaper than anyone else. They used treated wood. I intend to have him do my second deck next year. They're very friendly and very talented.

Mike made an appointment with me to come by to look at the fence and give me an estimate at 6pm on a Wednesday. He did not show, nor did he call. I gave him the benefit of a doubt and waited until the next day, still no call. When I called him on Friday he said ''We had an appointment''? This is extremely unprofessional and no matter how good he is I won't do work with someone who does not have the courtesy to cancel an appointment if they can't make it. My time is as valuable as his.

I was not impressed with the way Mike returned my calls or followed through with his word. I was all but ready to hire him and just asked him to swing by and show me some samples. It took him over a week to call me back and then he forgot all about it! I really think he needs to sharpen his communication skills. It would have gotten him my business and a positive referral!

Mike and his team were very polite and a pleasure to work with. He stuck true to his estimate even though there were a few changes. He even came back to do follow up work.

Very disappointing. He might be the best deal in town, but blowing off a meeting is a deal-breaker for me.

They did a great job. With the heavy rains and all, it took a little longer than expected, but still in a reasonable time. They were on time, easy to work with, and their prices were competitive. They, Mike and Fosto, were very nice and personable and hard workers. We (both our neighbor and us) were very pleased with the work and the finished product.

SCHEDULED EARLY AM MEETING FOR AN ESTIMATE ON NEW DECK PROJECT. CONTRACTOR CALLED TO SAY HE'D BE A LITTLE LATE (1/2 HOUR). WAS TOLD THAT I'D RECEIVE A VERBAL COST ESTIMATE ONSITE. HE COULD NOT GIVE ONE SO HE PROMISED A WRITTEN QUOTE BY MAIL WITHIN 2 DAYS. WE DID NOT RECEIVE ANY ESTIMATE OR FOLLOW-UP CALL.

WE HAD SEVERAL ESTIMATES FOR THIS JOB. MANY COMPANIES DO NOT DO TREX. MIKE JONES, THE OWNER OF BIGFOOT CONSTRUCTION GAVE US A GREAT BID AND DID A GREAT JOB. HE MADE SURE WE WERE HAPPY AS THE WORK PROGRESSED AND WE CHANGED THE DESIGN AS WE WENT ALONG. NICE GUY, A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. HE DID A FENCE FOR OUR NEIGHBORS AS WELL.
