My faucet was not turning off.... I got a call right back from the plumber when I called the office. TJ discussed the situation with me and we agreed that I needed a new faucet. He was in Forest Grove and about to leave a job site. I am in Central Beaverton. So I had time to dash out to pick up a new faucet just before he arrived at my place. He was courteous, had all the necessary tools and even had a plug for my extra sink hole. He cleaned up after himself. I am very happy with the service and would recommend.

It went well, new sinks were put into place and he found some sections of the tub that needed caulking and did that as well. We removed the sinks and purchased the replacements ahead of time to help cut down on the amount of time (and cost) needed.

This provider was ingenious when it came to repairing the main water line to the mobile home. It was from the 70's and the threads were broken so he had to be innovative in repairing the line. He was fast and efficient so we could get the water running to the home again. Along with this he was very professional and I was very happy with the service.

The main line to the house had cracked and needed immediate replacement. They were able to come out quickly and assess the damage. After inspection of the other pipes, they recommended a total replacement as they were all severely rusted (65 year old house). They completed the work quickly, and had us up and running in only a matter of a few days. We felt that the price was more than reasonable, especially since they threw in numerous extras at no additional charge charge (new shower head and faucet, new exterior water bibs, kitchen drain cleaning, and they even added a line to refrigerator for the ice maker). I would definitely use them again.

Had water leak under kitchen sink caused by loose spray hose. A handyman company let me know it would be best to replace the faucet versus try to fix and to hire a plumber to do the install (more cost effective). I purchased a replacement faucet and contacted several plumbers on Angie's List to schedule the install. Best Price Plumbing responded quickly and had the best price by far ($112 versus other companies that ranged from $150 to $190). Best Price was also able to quickly fit me into their schedule and gave me a 1pm to 3pm install window with Luther for the next day. Luther called and let me know he would be there at 2:15pm due to his last job running long. He arrived at 2:15pm, was well organized and completed the install quickly (done by 3pm). Faucet looks great and works perfectly. We also had a nice conversation while he was doing the work. I'm always interested in a good story and Luther has lots of them! I had a great experience with Best Price Plumbing and will use again when I purchase new toilets later in the year.

He was great. I called this morning as it was no longer manageable and he fit me into the schedule immediately. He gave me a window and called 30 minutes before visiting as promised. I didn't have to spend half of the day waiting during a too-long window like I have with other contractors. He provided excellent advice and checked his work twice. He was in/out within 20 minutes, doing just what needed to be done and not a lot of extras that usually add to the cost. I'll definitely use him again and will share with friends all over the West Side. He was pleasant, professional and very efficient. He had everything in his truck. I'm very, very pleased. I appreciate that this is a family-owned small business.

Luther is a character, but in a very good way. Needed to install a pressure regulator in a 1939 house with original cast iron pipes. A hazardous undertaking because the old pipes might have been rusted through and disturbing them might unleash a can of worms (expensive re-pipeing project). Luther inspected pipes and concluded that with his 39 years of experience he could do the job safely. Other plumbers were not eager to undertake job and bid high prices. Unfortunately for Luther and fortunately for me, Luther had to cancel two appointments for my job due to other pressing jobs. So, on third appointment Luther said the job would be done for free as a way to retain customer good will. This job would have cost about $400, inclusive of a top quality all-brass pressure regulator- not one bought at a big box store (junk plastic parts). I of course, was very pleased to get a free job and as the reader might ascertain, that fact does have an impact on my review. I watched as Luther and assistant, with meticulous care, cut into the old pipes, drained the rusty water and very carefully installed a regulator where there was none ever before. Solid job with complete clean up. Now the water pressure in house is down from 120 to 75 psi, and possibility of old pipes bursting much reduced. They also removed an old incapacitated water purifier from under the kitchen sink- at no cost. On top of all this, Luther also gave me $100 for an old dresser sitting in the garage! What a great guy, what a great day!

Dale repaired a leaking elbow in a ppvc water line from my hot water heater. He arrived in about an hour after I called and worked efficiently and rapidly, doing the work in an hour. The company's rates are $98 for the first hour, less a $10 discount, the most reasonable of the plumbers I queried on Angieslist. Bids went as high as $350 for a rather simple job. Dale explained to me that PPVC pipe, no longer allowed in new construction but only in repairs, deteriorates as it ages in about 25 years. That's good to know, as I can anticipate more leaks in the future,probably, in my 1930s home. I can't recommend this company more highly. Dale was polite and friendly.

Best Price Plumbing called ahead and arrived as scheduled for our appointment. He worked quickly and effectively to repair a water leak. He clearly informed us of the nature of the problem and the solution. The charge for his service was reasonable. I would definitely use him again.

WOW. What a great experience. My shower drain stopped up this am. But I wasn't able to deal with it until 3pm. Got on Angie's list and searched by near by plumbers. Called Luther and he answered right away. (By the way called my usual plumber and he couldn't come over until next Tuesday and I used them for years) Luther said he was just finishing up a job and could be over in one hour. One hour later he was there. He called when he was on his way. We had some trouble with clearing the drain but he got it done. Now here is the great part. He decided he should get under the house to make sure that everything was ok there. He was concerned that the drain pipe was broken and leaking into the crawl space. Anytime someone offers to go under the house into the crawl space, I call that above and beyond. And then on his way out he made some adjustments to the door to the crawl space so it fit better.

These guys are great....they go the extra mile, VERY experienced and kind. Knowing that I was here with my mom who is on hospice, the owner actually walked up a steep, icy hill during our most recent snow/ice storm to check on me and my mom when he was unable to reach us for a previously discussed possible call one morning. He Diagnosed what was wrong with the disposal and un-clogged it and never even charged for that visit. The disposal will need replacing at a later date and these guys will be the ONLY plumbers I ever call again. I cannot say enough good things about them.

I noticed a drip coming from the ceiling over my kitchen sink. My neighbor told me to call a plumber and I chose Best Price from Angie's List. I called them from work and described the problem. They came the same day, gave me a quote, fixed it for the quoted price and cleaned up nicely afterward. It required a small hole cut in my ceiling (they warned me ahead of time) and they provided me with a contractor who could fix it if I chose to use him.

Luther was prompt and professional. He is very friendly and considerate about clean up. His rates are the lowest in town by far but the service is million dollar.

Luther was exactly on time after calling ahead to confirm. He noticed two other leaks in pipes under the sink and fixed them and replaced the water shut-off valve to the toilet after discovering it did not work. He cleaned all his work areas, including the toilet! Luther's pricing at $79/hour can't be beat and he went the extra mile to be sure everything worked perfectly including with problems I hadn't noticed. He had all needed parts with him, so there was no "order and I'll return later (for an extra charge)." Super service. I will recommend him to my friends and neighbors.
