Best Price Plumbing & Drain

Best Price Plumbing needs to change its name. A year ago I was charged $120 to install a garbage disposal unit. A few days ago I was charged $223 to install a kitchen faucet that I had purchased for $64. (This included a high charge of $54 for supply lines.) The prior day they were out to check the toilet for leak at the base and to install the shut-off valve (for which they charged $30, as well as $15 for a wax ring, much more than prices quoted at Home Depot. ). After looking over the 2 bills, I noticed that each had a $20 'miscellaneous' fee (for caulk, rags, etc), which I had never seen before. I called and was told this was added because their business was not profitable enough. I was told that I should have received a 10% senior discount on the service, but not parts. Rather than issue a refund of $30 on my credit card, they submitted a new charge of $397 and were supposed to reverse the two earlier charges. However, only the charge of $203 was reversed. I've had to ask the credit card company to reverse the $223 charge; and this is currently pending.

The company was extremely responsive and helpful. The owner told me she would have one of her plumbers call back to discuss exactly what I needed done and would then be able to quote me a price. The plumber: Matt called within minutes and after a few minutes he explained all my options and pricing. I was very impressed with his knowledge and ability to explain things clearly. Matt explained the difference in having a rotor rooter type of process which he could do or using a powerful jet of water to really clean the pipes out. He fully explained the price differences and why. In 30 years we have never had our drains blown out and it felt like that would be a good thing to do before we ended up with a serious problem at the worst time. We have family coming into town and last thing we want to deal with would be clogged plumbing! We can't say enough positives about our experience with the company and especially Matt the plumber. He was professional, clean, efficient and friendly!

Went great! Luther used great skill in removing a 1939 outdoor faucet that was cracked without breaking the 1939 supply line. He then installed a new faucet and it works flawlessly. He also did some detective work in basement and found source of water leakage in exhaust water lines. He did a quick and very low cost repair and did not try to sell me on more expensive pipe replacement route which I was prepared to authorize and probably would have with a less honest plumber. Luther when quoted a very reasonable price and then on his own volunteered that I looked to be a senior and therefore discounted the price. He is a character and a great guy to call with plumbing problems. Have used him previously for another issue and was equally satisfied.

Fantastic! Matt came out same morning, was so personable, methodical in testing, and down-to-earth - made the whole thing a pleasurable experience. I would totally call Best Price again.

Very good job. A series of pipe clogs was making my washing machine throw water out during rinse - now fixed and it’s quieter too! Dishwasher also working better. Shower head tightened w Teflon tape added to hold it. Done well & quickly.

It went very well. I've always been wary of plumbers as they tend to be very expensive, wanting deposits to even evaluate the situation. BPP was very reasonably priced, did great work and was very efficient. I'll have them back for any future repairs and have recommended their services several times.

TJ came and tighten the screw on the shower spout. Said that would slove the problem. However, water continue to leak. We noticed after few days when water started to come thru garage ceiling and we saw the wet floor of the garage.

The guy sent to do the work needed help, so a second guy came out at no extra charge.

We love this company! The first time we called them about the leak, T.J. came to check it out and let us know that the parts were no longer available for our faucet and they would need to be replaced. (I wasn't surprised--23 year old faucets.) He also had a look at a toilet that wasn't flushing properly. He didn't charge us for that visit. Today he came to install the faucets. They look great! And he fixed the toilet for free. Both visits he was on time, very polite, took off his shoes. And both times they were able to schedule him within a day or two. The woman who takes the calls is friendly and efficient. I can't say enough good things about this small, family owned business.

Luther did an excellent job. He has fair rates and didn't charge us for travel time to pick up a part he didn't have on the truck. Other plumbers have charged. He is a genuinely nice, hardworking person. He came as a friend's recommendation and we would certainly recommend him.
