They were able to come within 2 days of me calling them (much faster than I expected given that it was the first dry week of the spring). They started by addressing the problems that we had found when we tested the system. Then they ran a test of all zones and fixed additional problems that weren't apparent until after the initial problems had been fixed. They also adjusted some heads to ensure they were hitting what they should be & not watering the sidewalk.I had used them once before and, as with the first time, they were knowledgeable and efficient and had the problems fixed in no time. I will definitely call them again.

Tim was great! He quickly found the problem with the low pressure in my system, made the needed repairs, adjusted & replaced several sprinkler heads, showed me how to get better performance from the system -- all for less than half the price of another quote I received. Can't say enough about how pleased I am!

EXTREMELY responsive!! Actually came over to the house while I was not there, diagnosed issues, and repaired/serviced as much as could be done from outside of the house. Since they did not have access to the clock/timer inside my garage, they returned a couple of days later, serviced the unit, and it is now up and running. Tim was extremely helpful, professional, and easy to do business with. I would strongly recommend this company based on this "small" experience.

Tim and John were great! I explained which areas I wanted more water and which I wanted less. Tim told me if he agreed and if he disagreed and why. I really appreciated his professional advice. Tim and John replaced one lawn sprinkler head with one that was more appropriate for the area and moved one sprinkler head to better reach a section of lawn that was difficult to cover. After John laid the new pipe and replaced the sod, it was impossible to tell any changes had been made.

This year, for the third time, Tim from A & J Landscape came out and made sure our sprinklers were working as expected. He went all around the house and made some adjustments and checked the timer. He is quick and efficient. The sprinklers are working fine. I am sure the price was so low because he had made more major adjustements over the last two years.

Does a great job each week. Many have complimented me on my lawn . . . somehow they know it is not me doing the work. My landscaping always looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend him and his company to anyone.

Al was incredibly knowledgeable about all of my plants when he first looked at my yard, as were all of the men who worked on the project. They treated my yard as if it were their own. I would HIGHLY recommend this company. The only thing they could have improved on was communication as to when they were coming to poison the weeds. I have a dog, and just happened to see the man working in my back yard. Since dogs should not be in the yard for a time after the treatment, it would have been nice to know they were coming. We will definitely hire them in the future.

A&J was highly recommended by the owner of the excellent company that does our tree service (Picture Perfect Tree Service). Al came out and performed a thorough inspection and gave a detailed verbal description of the work that he thought was needed. He saw several areas that needed work that we had missed and had an impressive knowledge of the plants (good and bad) in our yard. It took a few weeks to get the work scheduled. He had his herbicide expert come out twice to pre-treat the ivy. The job was done in a day and was quite thorough. There was one minor communications issue regarding some ivy we wanted to leave on a fence, but this was a fairly trivial issue considering the scope of the work that was done. A&J's bid was in line with others we received but their proposal included more extensive work than the other companies, which were also highly rated on Angie's List.

Tim arrived on time, worked quickly, left the lawn and flower beds largely undisturbed, and adjusted all stations for good sprinkler coverage. He even reprogrammed the sprinkler timer. I would not hesitate to use this company again!

The guys were on time, professional, explained everything and did a great job. Everything works great. Teresa in the office is very helpful and friendly and got them out here the day after I called.

They were very prompt in coming out, worked quickly and fixed everything needing a tweak or two.

I've been using them for ten years. They just come over and do their job. I don't have to be there but I make sure that they can get in to my yard. They do a good job. They make sure that all the sprinklers are working correctly.

I suspected a leak in my irrigation system and also wasn't familiar with the operation, winterization procedures, etc. Tim came out and taught me how to use the system, and also found and corrected two major problems quickly and efficiently. My sprinkler system is tuned and I'm not watering my backyard creek anymore. Very satisfied and I'll use A&J again if I need more help!

I was out of town when they came. When I came home, I was thrilled with how my yard looked. They shaped up all of the shrubbery and ridded it of weeds. I have decided to hire them for a service contract. I like working with them and they are very professional.

A & J sent two men who went over the system and were able to turn everything on, check and/replace as needed, all parts. They turned the system on and off and arranged the sprinklers for best watering. They explained the timing set up. They answered all my questions. I was surprised by how fast they were able to get this old system working. Real experts.

Excellent service. They came out as arranged and did exactly what I needed. They will be coming back to shut down and drain the system for winter.

Met with Al from A&J, he responded to my phone inquiry in a timely. Al was on time for the appointment and understood the scope of the project. He offered ideas and different ways to approach what we were trying to accomplish. We selected another contractor for the project. The decision was not based on cost alone but what we felt was the ?best value?. Many factors were considered; schedule, materials, approach, and what my gut told me. The proposal did not contain any negative factors; the contractor selected had more positive factors.

On Monday afternoon, the receptionist indicated Tim needed a day to clear his backlog, and would be able to take care of my work this week. Tim called at noon on Tuesday to indicate he would be arriving in half an hour; my husband telecommutes so we are very flexible. It then took Tim less than two hours to take my system from an F to an A+. He is absolutely amazing! My husband the engineer could have played with the system for a few weekends but it took Tim and his truck full of widgets no time to deduce, simplify, and repair. We are so pleased that we are considering using his company for other landscaping projects.

The representative told me the charge was $65 for an estimate but if I used them, they would waive the fee. I said I work everyday 9-6 and asked if someone could come out after work or on Saturday. I was told their Irrigation person left for the day @ 6 and did not work Saturdays. Really?! During the summer no one works on Saturday?? They could come on before work, but told them that would not work for me. So I said I would go to a competitor which I have done and they will come out and give and estimate at no charge when it's convenient for me. Their rep said OK and I hung up.

Same day service. Discovered the pipes were broken an all of the controllers were leaking. This was not suprising since it was a do-it-yourself job. He replaced them and set the timers for me.
