I sent them pics and it took forever to actually talk to someone there. When I finally did they told me it would be 85 to send someone out to take a look. I asked if they could take a look at the pics to see if it was possible that they could find the part and they replied nothing is free. Great customer service! I found the person rude who answered the phone.

The work did not happen because the people never showed up. A week and a half later after my initial call I had to call back because nobody had set up an appointment. They did set up a schedule two days later and said they would be here Monday or Tuesday. Tuesday morning they called to tell me that they would be here Wednesday with a one hour time frame and that they had no other appointments. I did not appreciate the way that the scheduling went down and I will be using somebody else. I would not recommend this company to anybody. Clearly they are too busy or too unconcerned.

The crew seem to be unenthusiastic and cut corners. They edged where I had asked them not to and they kept doing it until my yard shrunk and the edge around the patio was 12" away. They did not take care of the moss either. BUT when I asked Al the owner out he agreed the crew needs to fix these things. The office staff are great and so is Al!

Tim was extremely nice and accomplished a lot quickly working only by himself. I am happy with the final product and the price, which was the best quote by far I received of many. Although I did get bumped a day, and it took a little longer than expected due to working by himself, I would still use them again. He even fixed one of my existing zones that wasn't working. Communication was the only thing that was sometimes tough, but I can give some leeway during the busy season and they were friendly.

It took 2 1/4 hours in total (including lots of digging to get down to the problem area.). The job was completed and everything is working well. It should be good for another 25 years! A & J Landscape was very professional and we would hire them again and recommend them if you have any irrigation issues.

I've used A & J Landscaping a few times. It was done well, done on time, the wall is still standing, the bid was accurate, everything you could want. They showed up when they said they were gonna show up and finished in a reasonable amount of time. I was happy.

I had sprinklers installed in spots that had never had them; one place I'd never had them before and a couple of places they just needed ... the way the plants had grown, the sprinklers that were there weren't cutting it any more. They were quick, professional, no surprises. I was just overall happy with the execution. I'm happy. It was more of an update to the existing sprinkler system, I guess. They changed out a couple of sprinkler heads, the ones that had higher clearance, and then installed a couple of new ones. It was quick; it wasn't a very big job. It was probably half a day, maybe. I didn't really shop it around too much, honestly. I liked them well enough that I didn't feel like I really needed to, especially for such a small job.

So far, so good. They've been here only twice so far.

Went well. Took longer for them to get to job than they said since they were booked up and playing catch up but that was OK with us.

I feel that they have been doing a fantastic job at a very reasonable price. I'm very happy with them and would recommend them to others.

Wonderful. When one calls the office, you get a person and an appointment to look at what needs to be done. Fair price for french drain, honesty in what could be done and not done, and advice as to how to handle the situation so as to resolve the issue. I really appreciated that they wanted my business and were so respectful. I am only sorry that there service isn't applicable to my property. It is not wasted on me that the job was not one for his company, but he honestly told me their parameters for work which eliminated my property.

Al was very professional and knowledgeable, the quote was the highest of the 3 quotes I received and was 2nd in my choice. His office staff was responsive to emails. I appreciated his knowledge and professionalism.

I received a call from the company telling me a crew would be out to renovate the lawn, but that the hedge and limb trimming wold have to wait until the next day due to scheduling. A four man crew, with equipment, showed up and they said they had caught up on their work and would be able to complete the entire job that day. They thatched the lawn and "plugged" it. They raked up PILES of debris and loaded it on their trailer. Wile a couple of men worked on the lawn others proceeded to trim the hedge - a tall hedge on a steep slope. They as they finished the lawn others went right to work cleaning up some dead tree limbs that were encroaching on the property and shading out a flowering tree. Limbs were trimmed, and cleaned up. The hedge was trimmed and cleaned up. Great job, fast and efficient. Would hire them again.

Al came out the day after I called and gave me an estimate. His crew came out the following week . (I was in a time crunch.) They arrived promptly and completed the project in less time then estimated. The yard looked great when they finshed. They also did a great job of coordinating with other repairmen that were working ourside. I have used A & J in the past and will definitely do so again.

A & J Landscape Maintenance, Inc did an excellent job. They were on time and did a great job of cleanup. I would hire them again.

They arrived, turned on the system, determining that yes there was a leak.Due to their experience they determined that the leak was coming from a defective component in the back flow preventer system. In less that 30 minutes the leak was fixed and the sprinkler system was working great.

Responded to call promptly and fit us into schedule within a few days. Work was done as requested and in a reasonable amount of time. Billing was in line with estimate. I would definitely use A & J Landscape again.

A particular event that comes to mind is we were having a post international wedding reception in our back yard. The lawn was not a green as we wanted so we called and asked them to make the lawn greener for the party. A & J came right out and fertilized the back lawn and within days it was beautiful.

One of our irrigation sprinklers sprung a leak. It appeared to be a buried broken hose. It just so happened to be near or under a large cedar tree stump (we lost the tree in a wind storm about 4-5 years ago). Whenever I ran the sprinklers, the area around the leak would simply pool up with water. At the same time, another sprinkler zone of ours stopped working and I was not happy with the coverage we were getting from our working sprinklers. Given the heat of our summer, I needed to get all of this fixed asap. I called A&J Landscape and they responded immediately. They sent their man out (Tim), who looked the problems over. He recommended we have the stump ground down so he could get at the hose. He also looked at the zone head and showed me that it was toast. I told him I had a guy look at removing the stumps a couple years ago, but that guy told me he couldn't get the stump grinder through the gate in our fence. Tim told me his guy could do it simply by removing the tires on his grinder and quoted me $150 to remove the stump. He also ordered a part for our broken zone solenoid. A few days later I got a call saying the city Locator service were coming out to check the area for buried dangers. The area checked out clean. Shortly after that I got a call from A&J saying their stump grinder guy was coming out to grind the stump. He arrived a day later and got through our fence without problems by taking off the wheels. He got the stump out, but could not see a hose anywhere. A day or so later I got a call from Tim saying the new solenoid was in and he was going to come out and get everything fixed. Sure enough, he and his helper (Chris) came out and started digging and found the hose. It turns out the tree root had broken the head off the hose, so he replaced it and it was good to go. he then replaced the broken zone solenoid and also went around and adjusted my other heads to get better coverage and also adjusted the times that I was watering. The price for the irrigation repairs was $195. So the stump removal ($150) and irrigation repairs total was $345.00. Tim was very knowledgeable and professional, a good man to have representing the company. Chris also was very professional and friendly. I would use A&J Landscaping again anytime for any maintenance I need! I am very happy with the work they did for us! Thank you, A&J!
