Their prices are extremely high. They have good stuff.

Stutzman contacted me to schedule the annual service. The date was scheduled and service done in a week. They came as scheduled and performed all the work quickly. I was billed via email.

Adam came from Stutzman, right on time, super informative and friendly. Persistent. Had trouble getting the camera through because, as I suspected, the line was broken in multiple places and roots infiltrated. He gave me a copy of the video and we talked while he worked, about buying houses, what's fixable or not, etc. Also provided **invaluable info about the windows in this old house. Not only were they not double pane'd but also not tempered glass, so if we had to break out a window to escape a fire we would have been dealing with large, sharp edges and surely have been injured badly during exit. Stutzman office staff very polite and cheerful on the phone. Kept in excellent touch about scheduling and time tech was arriving. Would definitely use them again for appropriate services as needed. Would recommend them to anyone needing the services they provide.

Vent was repaired satisfactorily

I called several contractors, asking how soon our leaking 21 year old water heater could be replaced. Stutzman Services were the only ones who even gave me hope of being able to do it in the near future. They did place me on a list of jobs to be worked into their schedule, that day, time permitting. At 4:30 a plumber came and gave me an estimate. The price listed on this review is including an Angie's discount and a Senior citizen discount. Of course there are new Federal regulations every year which inevitably add to a contractor's cost, so clients are going to need to pay for them. Within an hour there were 2 employees here helping the first plumber to replace the water heater so no one had to stay late to get it finished before dinner time.

Very professional and helped with a difficult situation. A previous contracted company through a home warranty service basically told us it would take 4-6 weeks to get a new similar water heater to replace our old one. Unbelievable! I went on Angie's List and found Stutzman Services and contacted them and spoke with Brent Stutzman. This was a Monday afternoon. By Wednesday late afternoon a new water heater was installed. That's the end of the story. Somewhere in the middle of this story and the middle of the afternoon, Doug and Caleb from Stutzman services came with a new water heater that was similar to the old broken one. Unfortunately it wasn't going to fit inside the small room's door that housed the water heater. Doug got on the phone and spoke with Brent. They located one that would fit. They weren't going to let us go another day without hot water. The whole process was handled very professionally and respectfully. They also did a great job! I highly recommend this company!

We moved into our house (new construction) in June 2014 and we immediately encountered a problem with our well water. The water had a very, very strong sulfur smell and the hard water left stains on our shower doors, toilets, and plumbing fixtures. The smell was so pungent that we couldn't do our laundry and our kids dreaded taking showers/baths. We were told by another company that we might need to use the well for irrigation purposes and connect our house to Dumbeck Water. We assumed our neighbors probably had similar issues and we spoke to several of them about their wells and what treat systems they were using. What we found out was that all 3 of the people that we talked to had already abandoned their wells and that they were using Dumbeck Water as their source for potable water. After spending several thousand dollars to drill the well, install a pump, and connect the well to the house this was devastating news. That's when Kevin Konzelman and Stutzman Services entered the picture. Kevin offered to have one of his top notch technicians come out to do a water test so that they could offer up potential solutions. Dale Aerni visited our house and presented us with an option that ultimately fixed all of our water problems. The solution that Dale offered up was life changing and I can't thank both Kevin and Dale enough for what they did for our family. They did such a great job that we're using them to hydroseed 45,000 SF of grass. Having worked with Stutzman Services I can attest to the fact that they have earned their quality reputation through superior customer service and high quality products/solutions. I've had these guys out for several things and they are exceptional. Professional, courteous and full of information to help make informed decisions. They may not be the cheapest service around but I trust them implicitly. I always feel fairly and respectfully treated and they just have great attitudes for some really grimy work. My only complaint at all (and it's understandable) is that it took nearly a month to get them out here after our freak freeze which burst a pipe in the back of my house (along with several hundred other houses it would appear). They were, however, worth the wait.

Worked well with restoration crew while they were drying out floors and walls. Also worked around and with remodelers who had to replace sheetrock, flooring, and paint. Removed old unit; returned and installed new unit and pan at a later date. Recommended and installed an alarm to detect any future leaks. Service was timely and quality. Came back to check work and replaced a suspected leaky connection [no charge]. Recommended and will install a shut off system in near future for when we are gone for extended periods to preclude issues while on vacation.

Arrived on time, had parts available, finished within a couple of hours. Very friendly, professional, a little expensive.

They're consciences. They follow up. They're good folks to do business with.

Wheelchair knocked sink off of wall. We had others work on but it remained a problem. After this last incident decided to try Stutzman. The repair is secure and is now safe to use again.

They responded quickly and gave us a complete report.

They're extremely professional. They did what they're supposed to do. It wasn't over charged. Both my husband and I were pleased. They were awesome. The price was reasonable. They came out within a reasonable amount of time. They were right on time.

Stutzman Service was very professional in their response. They were able to identify the source of the problem and offer repair choices.

All work was done by an apprentice who was dropped off and left without supervision. I had to call a couple of times to get them to come and check his work. When after a couple of days, the "supervising" plumber came out to test the valve on a "lunch break" from another job, when shut-off, it didn't shut off completely, water kept flowing. When I asked about the problem, I was told it was pressure backflow and it would taper off. --Well, in the late fall when I TRIED to shut the system down before extreme cold, the valve did not stop flowing after two hours and the well water pump kept coming on indicating it was drawing water, although it was supposedly closed. SO--the original "testing" by the supervising plumber was not really done. Will not use them again.

We had to have a well drilled & Stutzman provided the plumbing. He put in 3 faucets & a water tank. He was very friendly & helpful!

They are fine. They have turned it on and off several times. I bought a package deal. It was a year's worth of service on my sprinkler system.

Well. Responsiveness was appreciated! I hesitated to complete this survey for so long because I couldn't remember when or how much we paid, and have been so busy, that I didn't take the time to look it up. These two details are just wild guesses. The important part was that we were satisfied.

The plumber showed us what needed to be done as we were having to wait way to long to get hot water from the time we turned the hot water faucet on . The plumber asked us when we last had the system bled. We had never had this done because we did not know that it was necessary. It took him several hours and we immediately saw the difference. He was professional and knew what he should do Not many plumbers really understand and on demand water heater, but he did.

Service was so professional, friendly and certainly affordable. Stutzman's has serviced my unit twice before and they do the BEST possible service.

Great work was able to identify a problem with water pressure and correct issue

They are very good and efficient. They are not the cheapest though. They responded quickly to a problem I had.
