I was skeptical of duct cleaning in general but having combatted allergies ever since moving in this house, I consulted Angie's list and found Mike Charles with Oklahoma Allergy Control. He was polite, courteous and professional on the phone and in person. The price he quoted was confirmed in person, and he honored the 5% Angie's list discount. He explained the whole process and answered all my questions as I watched. He said he could take samples and send them off, and he could do the video if I wanted, but he was honest and said those are extra expenses that would tell us what we already know. He kept my cost down. He used a brand new HEPA vacuum bag, and showed my all the dirt and dust he collected. He checked out my main unit for free as well as fogging my house with the anti-mildew/mold. He completed the job in 3 hours, as promised and arrived on time. I definitely notice a huge difference in the air quality in my house. This was a recently purchased 10 year old house that probably never had this done. He recommended doing the service every 2-5 years, which is a very reasonable estimate and house cost. He charges a flat rate for the first 8 ducts/returns and $20 for each additional duct/return. I will use him again and recommend him highly to all my friends.

Mike & his helper (Jay, I believe) were here on time. They did a thorough walk-through and gave me a final price BEFORE they started the work. They cleaned each vent back to the plenum, taking care to keep the work area as clean as possible. Once cleaned, they inspected the vents with their camera, looking for anything they missed or trouble areas. Where additional cleaning was needed, they used their vacuum again with the camera in place until the duct was clean. When complete, they made sure I didn't have any questions and double-checked to see if they had left the areas they had worked in good shape. (Note, this can be dirty work, so realize there will be some dust.)

They first cleaned all the ducts by using an enormous vacuum with a brush attachment. It was disgusting the amount of sand and other "things" that were removed from the ducts. All the while contaminating the air in my home. They then coated the plenum, ducts and vents with a sealent that provents rust and seals cracks. The vents look so clean and sanitary now! Mike and his "helper", which I'm sorry to say I didn't get his name, are friendly, polite, informative and helpful. Mr "Helper" even took the time to fix a storm door I was having problems with. They were very patience with my nosey little dog that insisted on trying to help. Could not have ask for a better job or nicer people!!

Mr. Charles is prompt, pleasant, and informative. There was some confusion regarding the appointment time, but Mr. Charles called and waited for us to let him in. Because of this, it seemed like he was somewhat rushed to get to the next appointment, but he inspected the entire air duct system. He cleaned everything and sealed four ducts for us. They offered to also clean our dryer vent for an additional cost and we took them up on that service as well. Whenever I asked questions, he explained everything and addressed all my concerns. They work quickly and efficiently. Their service is a little more costly compared to others who advertise duct cleaning, but Mr. Charles seems worth it.

Everything went well. We setup a time to have them come out to do the video, the owner showed up right on time and did exactly what he said he would do. After doing the video, we scheduled the cleaning for a week later and again he was on time and did a great job cleaning all of our vents. We can definitely breath easier now! Although the cost was a little more than I expected, I am happy with their work and would definitely recommend them if you need duct cleaning.

It was easy making an apointment and they were there when they said they would be. The job went even quicker than they had estimated and they were very friendly and professional.

Allergy Control Duct Cleaning did a great job! From the time I scheduled the appointment to the minute the guys pulled out of my drive way after completing the duct cleaning service, they were courteous, professional and hard working. Since we had never had this service performed, I was initially worried that dust and debris from the vents would get all over the house while they were cleaning, but that was not the case at all. Their equipment did a great job keeping the dust contained. And what little amounts did make it past them, they promptly cleaned up. Since the service, I have noticed a great reduction in the accumulation of dust in our house. And, as an allergy and asthma sufferer, I have noticed my breathing has improved. I highly recommend Mike and his crew at Allergy Control Duct Cleaning! Note: If you are allergic to dust or have asthma, the process could bother you. Although their equipment does a great job cleaning out the ducts, there are some dust particles that get past them. If you are allergic or have asthma, I would recommend opening a few windows to ventilate the house. Unfortunately, it was very cold and raining/snowing the day I had the service performed, so it wasn't an option to open my windows or stand outside. But, within 20 to 30 minutes of them completing the service, my allergic reaction diminished and I was breathing fine.

A skunk got into our ducts under our house and used the duct system as his oun bathroom & living quarters. Allergy Control Duct Cleaning came out, cleaned out all the debris the skunk brought into the system, and fogged the entire system to remove the smell. They even came out to do a second treatment on short notice (with no extra charge) since there was still a lingering smell in the system. Great service and highly recommended company!! Thanks guys!

Mike was prompt, professional, and thorough. This was the first time we had had this type of service and we were pleased with the results. He cleaned all duct work and return air. This took about 2 hours.

BOOKING - Flexible in working with us to get on his schedule - His schedule was busy enough to be reassuring TIMELINESS - Arrived on time at the location - Took about 2 hours to perform the inspection onsite - Delivered us a disc of pictures immediately and a thorough report that evening, even though the inspection was late in the day and we had poor weather to contend with PROFESSIONALISM - We also had the home briefly inspected prior to making an offer; Mike Charles did not miss anything from the original exam and, in fact, found two additional items of note - Mike was very kind and gracious in fielding questions from us late at night on a Friday during a Thunder game :) He went to a lot of trouble to explain all considerations to us, and made us feel secure as first-time homebuyers. Basically, he was patient even with our stupid questions. He even encouraged us to contact him if we had any other questions. Much appreciated. INTEGRITY - Even though he offers the additional inspection services himself and stood to gain, he informed us that mold and radon gas tests would be overkill, based on the findings of the general inspection for the former, and the location, for the latter - He was aware of Angie's List, but he has no reviews on Angie's List. I always suspect online reviews of being self-promotion, and have seen many on Angie's List that read that way. I was impressed to learn that this gentleman has respected the principles of Angie's List. - I felt that he represented the situation fairly both to us and to the sellers. The report did not seem skewed in either direction. SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION - I would feel confident with the results if he performed the inspection, whether I were selling the house or buying it.

Everything went smoothly. They were thorough but fast.

The first appointment was for a video scoping of the entire duct system to locate any issues or evidence of standing water or rust. We were sent a dvd of the process and then given an option as to what we wanted done. We scheduled a duct, air return, and furnace cleaning and application of an anti-microbiol. Two service men arrived on time and were very professional while they were in our home. We were given an Angie's List discount on all services. We also need several duct boots replaced and were given the name of a person that could do that for us.

Overall it was a very good experience.

It went very well. We made an appointment, he was here right on time, he told me how long it would take and he did a very nice and clean job. He put all my vents back, explained what he was doing as he went along and let me watch in the monitor which was quite fun. When he was finished he showed me what he had taken out of all the vents.
