The "worked me in" in between jobs but they kept to their schedule and were bang on with price. The work was top notch. I have referred my daughter to them for her bathroom. They were just wonderful to work with.

My wife took the time off work to meet the contractor at our home. They didn't show up. She called them and they forgot to put us on their calendar, was the excuse. Regardless, I would use them.

We did not use The Service Guy for this job, but we are keeping them in mind for future projects. They were professional and knowledgable.

I did not use this vendor for the work. I ended up going with a different vendor that I have used in the past. However, I was pleased with the quote and their professionalism and I would not hesitate to use them. They have received positive reviews on Angie's List and the time they spent with me looking at my bathroom lived up to those reviews. They had good ideas and were knowledgeable.

Great. They stayed with it until all issues were successfully completed.

James and Yana were very helpful from the first day they came to our home and wrote up an estimate. Yana offered ideas when we asked her opinion and supported any decisions we made. James and his crew arrived on time each and everyday to get our kitchen back into commission by Thanksgiving. Their work is professional grade and we got more than we hoped for. We absolutely love our new kitchen.

Conducted an estimate. Expensive relative to other estimates for same work. Some eye-rolling between the couple about what I wanted. Didn't select.

Very well. Everything and everyone was on schedule and clean up was great.

They were excellent. The craftsmanship was good. Everything was good. He showed up on time and he did what he said he was going to do. The project took the amount of time he said. He did a really good job. He was one of the best contractors that we have used.

The window that was installed leaked. They came back out to fix the window and it still leaks. I have asked again for the window to be fixed and they have not came back out. They installed a door over rotten wood. I have asked for that to be fixed and that has not been done as well. I actually have had to hire a new contractor to fix those issues. I would not recommend using this contractor.

Perfect. It took him less time than he imagined, and so he gave me a discount on the estimated price. I will hire him again when needed.

They arrived on time, finished the job quickly for the amount of space they covered, and made sure they did it right. They were professional and timely. In a couple of spots where we noticed issues, they came right back out to address. Would definitely recommend.

He and his assistant were very prompt and professional. I asked for itemized cost of replacing double vanity countertops and sinks and hardware Also mirrored area redo. I had a solid sheet of mirror attached to the wall. I also wanted an estimate on cost of replacing bathtub and redo of the tiling around the tub. He was prompt in his submitting the bid. In the end, I decided, we were not ready to spend the money it was going to take to redo our bath.

This was a very small job for them compared to a lot of the renovations they do. However, they were very courteous, prompt, and professional. They did a great job and we would be happy to use their services again.

Overall, we highly recommend James and his company. James was always professional, punctual, and when his crew could not be on time, he called in advance to let us know (with one exception out of his control and he made sure it didn't happen again.) The best part was that James himself always checked every job after his crew finished it and occasionally found work not up to his standard and had a crew member come back out and correct it. This included the room being "broom clean" upon completion. His prices were always fair and estimates and billing were always handled efficiently. One nice touch is that they handled all billing and estimates via e-mail. (I know that sounds obvious, but a lot of companies in this field still use paper for everything.) It was nice having electronic copies of everything.

Yes I would recommend them because there were no problems and they were very professional.

This is the 2nd job they have done for us and they are amazing! Project included removing walls, adding extra beam work to support ceiling, patching, plumbing and flooring.

Very prompt, very professional, put us at ease immediately. I contacted three contractors on Angie's List on February 3rd, via Angie's List email provision. Yana contacted me the SAME day and made arrangements for a bid on the 5th. James and Yana came by and looked at the job. We explained that we wanted an inexpensive tub and surround like the one we had in the other bathroom. He gave suggestions on other materials we could use (onyx, tile) and gave us separate bids for each of those. They took the time to explain things and to look at some tile I already had, and included using it in the bid, which did lessen the price a bit. He does quality work, I'm sure, so perhaps that is why he didn't give an estimate using cheaper material? ..I can relate to that because I clean houses and one customer wanted me to 'just make the kitchen look clean' rather than CLEAN the grease off the backsplash and under canisters, etc. I wouldn't do that because if someone asks who cleans your house, then that would reflect on my good name and reputation. So I respect that they perhaps didn't want to do a cheaper set just to make the house sell-able. If I had the money to spend on this, and was going to keep this house forever, we might have considered doing it the way he suggested, and would use him in the future. We really liked them a lot, especially the prompt visit and prompt written detailed estimates. Thank you for your time, James and Yana! We just needed to go a cheaper route, so husband tore out the tub himself, bought the materials, and we are hoping a friend can help us install. We aren't cheapskates, just on a fixed disability income. :) If you have the money I would recommend The Service Guy.

The update to our kitchen and bath went smoothly and timely. The installers were friendly and accurate in the time they needed to do the jobs. This company does not rely on machines to filter their phone calls, the calls were always answered. I was very comfortable in their abilities and advice.

Steve was very courteous, tidy and personable.

The water heater stopped working Fridat, 1/31/14 and I called him that morning. He agreed to come buy arount 5:30 to 6:00 pm that same day. He arrived on time and had the heater up and running in only 45 minutes. We were quite satisfied with the work and service and will use him again if the need arises.

The boss came by the house everyday to check the work but he really didn't need to. His employees were knowledgeable and professional._x000D_|_x000D_|Use them again? I have plans to do just that!

Great! This is an old house and we ran into some problems because of this, but they were handled very professionally. We are really happy with the work that was done. The kitchen and bathroom look new and are beautiful. All of the people that came to work on our house through The Service Guy were very pleasant and professional. We have had people come over because they wanted to look at what was done. Some people say it looks like something out of HGTV.
