James and Yana are a pleasure to work with and really care if you're happy. I was impressed with their workers - all very polite and respectful of our home. James was responsive and stopped by regularly - if not daily. They finished on time and on budget and we are very happy with the final product. Fully intend on using them for our future renovations!

TSG Renovations has been the best service provider we've worked with at any home we've owned. They did the design and installation of the new bathroom and demo of the old one. Their bathroom design and quality of work was excellent and we so appreciated how they worked with us. They were always on time and at the house when they said they would be. They have good ideas and good sources for supplies. The project stuck to the schedule and we have a beautiful bathroom thanks to James and Yana.

The reason I went with TSG was partly because of the good ratings, but after corresponding with and meeting them, it was clear that they were top notch. They were super responsive and helpful through the entire process and after. They were so patient as we changed our minds on our approach and made the experience very pleasant. I do think they were a bit pricey in some regards (cabinets) but overall not too far off other competition. Definitely will be using them for our bathroom remodel.

I just finished a huge kitchen remodel with TSG Renovations and I cannot say enough good things about them! I had heard nightmare stories of contractors leaving jobs incomplete or doing shotty work. So I was VERY diligent in getting bids and choosing a contractor for my project. From our initial meeting, to the numerous revisions I requested, to project completion they were completely professional and always available to speak with me, walk me through every detail and listen to my every concern. This was a very big project and I am a bit of a perfectionist and as I expected a few things didn’t go quite as planned as things come up unexpectedly. However, James and Yana were so great making sure that the end result was EXACTLY as promised. In fact of all 6 bids that I got for this job from a variety of local contractors, James was the ONLY one who said he could configure my kitchen the way I wanted... and sure enough he made it happen! TSG truly treated my project as if it was their own home and made every detail a priority. Their crew was also extremely friendly, skilled and a joy to have in my home. James over saw everything and always kept me updated as things moved along. I felt like he was honest and informative even when things didn’t quite go as planned and then got it taken care of quickly and always in my favor in the end. James and Yana are simply good people with integrity who run their business accordingly. I would 100% recommend TSG Renovations and I will be using them again for future projects!

This is the second time we have used them and if we need a third time it will be done by them. Work was done on time and on budget. Work is A+ their crew is friendly and professional. Would recommend again and again

We were so happy with our kitchen renovation 3 years ago that we hired TSG this October to redo our master bath. Both renovation required moving walls, new cabinets, floors, countertops & ceilings. James came by everyday to inspect & make sure of the progress. Our downtime was minimal and I can’t say enough about the beautiful results. They made our old & tired look new & inviting. I give them a 10!!!

Wonderful! They did a complete "gut job" of everything. They basically put 'new everything' in our Kitchen & Master Bathroom. NEW: lighting , flooring, cabinets, appliances, even took out a wall. Replaced a bathtub with an new shower! They were phenomenal. We had one other bid - it was significantly higher!

James and Yana were so flexible with us when it came to scheduling and trying to make a beautiful bathroom within our budget. Everyone who came to work at our house was very professional and thoughtful. I would feel comfortable leaving them alone at the house while they work. The bathroom turned out beautiful and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Never received the free 3D modeling never got a price on the model that was sent had to call two weeks later to get it sent via email which is fine but wasn't even what I was looking for

Not only were they the lower cost option, they were the company we felt the most trust and confidence from (some bids were even from major market competitors). James was insightful and thorough with status updates throughout the project. His team were skilled craftsman that took tremendous care in their work and keeping the area clean and with the least disruption each day. In summary, we have zero concerns with TSG and nothing but the utmost respect for their work and customer experience. And yes, the bathrooms look amazing!

My husband and I moved into my parents home recently. While we loved the home, it was needing to be updated in the 42 year old kitchen and the stairs going upstairs were extreme. We contacted TSG, and both of us were very impressed with both James and Yana. They listened to our wishes, and then presented a wonderful design to us that was computerized and visual within days. Not only did they chive all our desires, they showed us added ideas that were wonderful! While they were a little higher priced than others, they were so professional, and it was obvious they truly cared about the quality of their work. That is why we chose to spend the extra money. From the moment they started, we were elated. Punctual.. and they were very particular! In fact, on 2 occasions we saw them make their sub contractors redo something because it was not perfect, even though until they pointed it out, we would never have noticed! This standard of quality was upheld through the entire process! We were in a construction zone for 9 weeks. That can be very stressful, but both James and Yana made it very bearable. I will never hire any other contractor then this company!

TSG- James and Yana- were incredible! I had my bathroom completely gutted (like I literally had them make it a hole to the ground: new walls, subfloor, window, plumbing, and electical) and their work was excellent. Very awesome to work with and helped me stay on budget. All work was performed just as they said and on budget and on time. They worked turn key as I moved out. I always felt my stuff was safe. They were respectful of my house and cleaned up well. They also patched some fascia board under my roof and worked around a tricky timetable involving another service provider. Highly recommend and I will be a lifelong customer now!

They were very prompt with reasonable labor charges and creative ideas for how to best use the space. Took about a week from initial visit to receive rendering (holiday time). Ended up being too expensive (cabinet cost, not their fault) for what we wanted to do.

James and Yana worked with me from the very beginning on getting the maximum done for my budget. Their construction team was super professional...my husband and I joked that one of the cabinet installers, Joe, was like "this old house guy". We felt lucky to have a team that didn't cut corners and paid extreme attention to detail, especially on our limited budget. I would recommend them to friends and family and would use them again for sure.

Did a wonderful job from start to finish. Will use them again when we do our bathroom.

Work went very smooth but as with all remodels there was a hick but James was right on top of it and kept us in the loop as to what was going on and when the job would be done. To say we are happy with the finish product would be an understatement. We will being redoing our masterbath in 2017 and they will be the only company we call. By the way they left us a jar of homemade pickels that were delicious.

James and Yana are an excellent team and I am thrilled with my new bathroom. Communication was easy and prompt and the skill and craftsmanship of the various team members was outstanding. Several years ago I hired another contractor to remodel a different bathroom and was very disappointed with the results. This time I did my homework and hired the best. They helped me with design and were always available for questions and concerns. My friends and coworkers are very impressed with the work of The Service Guy. I highly recommend!

James and Yana are great folks to work with. Communication with them was great. We did email's, text and the good old phone calls. We loved the very detailed estimate they gave us. The price was a little high but they were true to their estimated cost. We budgeted an extra 2 grand in case there was overruns. Now, we're kicking ourselves for not having them to do the painting since we were trying to save some money. Our next project, we will have them do everything as we know they will be on budget. :) They have a great group of workers and all of them are happy to be working for The Service Guys. One thing we like was the ritual they have. Every morning, they lay down carpeting and / or plastic to limit the dirt getting into rest of house. Then at the end of the day, they would roll it all back up and vacuum the area. Then as an added bonus, they had a housekeeper come in and clean the house when the project was done. That made my wife very happy. As far as project time and scheduled events, It got done earlier than expected. My only issue I had was sometime we were told someone would show up at such and such time frame and they never show up (It only happened twice) I didn't worry about it too much as they were ahead of schedule. But it was a bit annoying as we had dogs and we kept them at bay to accommodate it. Oh well. All in all, they did a great job. Wife and I love our new beautiful bathroom. She loves her new walk in closet as well. ( it wasn't a walk in before the remodel) Now only if I could get my own walk in closet... haha! Happy Tulsa homeowner...

We love our new space. James and Yana did a great job on designing the cabinetry. We changed the layout of the cabinets, but we didn't move the plumbing or electrical or gas. So the stove, sink, and refrigerator stayed in the same place. We got a granite countertop and travertine backsplash. The pantry is very deep and has two shelves that pull out. All the cabinet drawers and doors are self-closing. Oh, how we love that! And the new can lights in the ceiling are so much better than the old fluorescent light, and the pendant above the sink and the under-counter lights make the room much brighter. Plus the two glass door cabinets have interior lighting. James, Yana and the whole crew are great to work with. When we found paint spots on the floor, Joe came right out and cleaned them up. The only issue is the cleaning person. She doesn't do as thorough a job as I would like.

They overbook and get in to too much of a hurry...or they're sloppy and don't care(not sure)? CONS: I don't know where to begin. It was one bad experience after another. James, owner and forman, seemed to be too distracted with other jobs and did not communicate with his hired help what we wanted/contracted for. He was mostly friendly when i had concerns but grew uncaring as time proceeded. His tile crew constantly did things the easiest, quickest and cheapest way, even though we were paying for top notch service and installation. i'd have to tell James at the end of every day all the things that were either done incorrectly or completely overlooked and not done at all! From not removing the mold in the wall in the bedroom to not installing a niche in our bathtub wall! That's just for starters. The hispanic crew, that didn't seem to speak english, stained our carpet by tracking the ceramic dust, from the cuts made right outside the front door, through our carpet. In James defense he did attempt to clean it but the same crew came in the next day and did it again! They did not seem to care whatsoever! They also left our water hose out every day with the water on and leaving a giant mud puddle mess in the front yard. In fact, they were in such a hurry to get to their next job the tile installer dropped a tile and chipped our brand new tub the size of a quarter! If that wasn't bad enough the guy that reglazed the tub made our tub look like an orange peel paint job! My wife literally was so upset a couple times it brought her to tears! When the crew had to tear out a portion of the tile they'd already installed, after being told by james they need to install a niche(waaaay too late I add), they put it in semi-crooked and installed the backing mosaic a complete 90* turn(north & south) the opposite direction as the mosaic on the wall(east & west). It was an absolute joke and he called those guy his "good tile installing crew"! It makes me mad just thinking about it! The crew seemed to be upset with us when it was James fault for not telling them to install a niche before hand. It was after that the carpet stains came...you draw your own conclusions. I told james it seemed like they were doing it on purpose! That same crew also had thrown all their heavy metal tools, like hammers, drills and screwdrivers carelessly on our very large marble double sink counter top. CARELESS! How is that your "GOOD TILE CREW!" Maybe good because they get the job done fast so they can go on and make you more money? I tried to explain our concerns with James but it seemed to fall on deaf ears more times than not. For instance...someone cut 2 gashes into our front patio concrete with a power saw cuz they didn't want to get out a table(?) and which was never fixed! His excuse was "this has never happened" and "everything that could've gone wrong with a job, has"! I just said "it's too bad it all happened to be ours"! He treated me as though he was tired of me complaining when in fact I was tired of having to complain! He wasn't shy to take our money though! No discounts for all of our troubles & stress, chipped orange-peel painted tub and day after day problems! Heck, he never even inspected the final job! He just texted me and in that moment I just really realized he just couldn't have cared any less and i mailed the final payment to them. I sent an email to his wife/secretary about my concerns and never heard from her either. This money was hard earned money that took years of saving and it seemed like every step of the way our money just wasn't as good as his other customers(jobs). They were obviously overbooked and should'be told us from the start! PROS: It does look nice, overall but should've never been this frustrating. James and his wife are very friendly. Their electrician, the crew that removed the mold & installed a boarder around our very large bathroom mirror and the gentleman that retextured the bedroom wall & removed the popcorn from our bathroom ceiling were all very friendly, professional and did a great job.

I have waited to write this review for 6 weeks. The reason being to watch for any unforeseen problems in the materials or workmanship. There has been none. Everything has been 100%. I obtained 4 bids, all from Angies list, for this was a major project. I choose James and Yana because they very caring and helpful. The other bidders were attempting to sell me their ideas on how the project was to be done, but James and Yana listened to how I wanted the kitchen to be done. My wife and I had talked about and planned this kitchen. Sadly she passed away a year ago, but told me to continue with the projects that we had planned together. It hurts that she is not here to enjoy these final projects to our home. Yana helped me with colors and material. I would have been lost without her input. She provided me with ideas and suggestions on the cabinets, colors and other options. With her guidance everything came out perfect. James and his crew are very professional and polite. They know their stuff. They worked from the time they got here till the time they left. Always picked up after themselves and were very punctual. I had been a contractor myself at one time and never have I seen a better run organization. James always kept me informed of what was going on, what to expect and if I had any questions or concerns. The communications was excellent. He even went above and beyond by repairing other items not in the contract at no charge. I believe he may have pictures of my kitchen on his website, I have not looked, but everyone that comes to the house and sees it are amazed on the beautiful kitchen James and Yana created. I highly recommend THE SERVICE GUY!!!!

The Service Guy is awesome! James and his wife are extremely professional and responsive. They came to our house at least twice to give us quotes. The scope of the first quote he gave us was more than my wife and i were prepared to take on, so he came back out and gave us a second quote that we were more comfortable with. It gave me the impression that he was listening to us and was responsive to our needs. His quotes clearly explain the work he is going to perform. I don't know which is better about The Service Guy: the quality of the work this outfit performs, or the ability to show up on time and complete the work in a timely manner. It seems like so many contractors you work with are undependable when it comes to providing estimates of when the work will be completed. Not James and his crew; they communicated very clearly when they would be doing the work and they were true to their word. My wife and i were very satisfied with the job they performed. His crews were all very professional and spoke very highly of James. We got quotes from several different contractors. The Service Guy was not the cheapest. We were originally going to go with a cheaper contractor, but then that contractor was over a week late starting and would not return our phone calls. We switched to The Service Guy and couldn't be happier with our decision. We will not hesitate to contact them again in the future. We trust these guys and feel like they really took care of us.

, I got their original estimate in March, along with two others. It seemed high, and was more than I wanted to pay, so I originally chose another contractor. Big mistake! I cancelled the contract with him after I found out he had legal problems,and had been less than honest with me. I managed to lose $2800 in the process! I had been very impressed with James and Yana when they had originally come out to give me the estimate, so I called them back and asked if they would work with me to come up with a lesser scope of work, and a lower price, which they graciously did. I really messed them up with making changes to what I would do, and what I wanted them to do, but they were pleasant and professional through it all. We had a couple of minor glitches, but they were addressed and taken care of right away. One of the things that impressed me most was that their subs were always here right when James said they'd be, and he was able to work around me taking two grandkids to summer day camp each day the last week The job involved taking out an old tub and the 1970s tile around it, removing the paneling on the walls and the popcorn ceiling, and smoothing out the drywall (I did all the painting), replacing the sub-floor, taking out the old toilet and vanity - the latter without damaging it since I was putting it in my other bathroom. The new work is a tiled shower on the old footprint of the tub, tile floor, installation of new toilet and smaller vanity I'd had built, a new light fixture and GFI outlet. The Service Guy provided the granite top for the vanity, but otherwise I purchased all materials. The job involved carpenters,plumber, electrician and tilers, so scheduling was quite complex. I ended up with the coastal/beachy bathroom I wanted. James and Yana and all their subs were wonderful to work with and all did professional, quality work. I would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

blem They did a good job on the back splash and the door but the drawer slides did not work on my drawers and the tried to install the anyway creating a gap on each side of the door showing the slide. The drawers had center slides and they tried to install side slides. They told me that center slides for my drawers were no longer available but I found some on the home depot web site that I think would have worked. The guy doing the slides busted a water line and flooded my kitchen. He was trying to stop the leak with duct tape....thank god I walked in when I did. They fixed the leak but I had an inch of water before I could get the water turned off. They also never got back with me to fix the slide problem after promising they would. I felt they just wanted to be done with me whether or not we were happy with the job. They promised to get back with me and never did. Will not use or recommend them.
