One Way Plumbing

We were very pleased with One-Way plumbing. The plumber was on time and professional. I asked a lot of questions which the plumber answered thoroughly. I made several requests regarding how to fix our problems(I wanted the new back-flow preventer to be similar size of the old one, so we can still use our existing cover and also we want to keep the same water pipe), the plumber worked with me and met all my requirements. Before proceeding, the plumber gave me the possible material and labor cost and made sure the charges were fine with me. The plumber is knowledgeable, unlike some other so-called “plumbers” we have encountered before.

Overall great experience. The guys were able to come quick and finish the job quickly. I called them because of a failed repair from a plumber sent out by home warranty. They repaired the plumbing to my water heater, pressure tested my gas line in the yard (which another plumber said was leaking) to find that it was fine, had it all inspected to finally get my gas turned back on, and then hooked everything back up in the house that was unhooked by the previous plumber. They were a little pricier than some others, but the work is well worth it and high quality. Chad and Gary Don both worked on this job and were great. They were nice guys, polite and professional. Would recommend and use again.

Hot water tank was leaking Friday night. Turned water off & gas off to the hot water tank. Called One Way Plumbing (used them before and was impressed). Chad indicated that he could come out with a new tank on Saturday morning around 10 AM. He arrived 15 mintues before that at 9:45 AM. I had already attached a hose to the tank, but it was not draining - so Chad removed the top of the tank to speed up the process. While waiting for the tank to drain - Chad was very busy on removing the old connection to the old tank and setting up the new tank. Tank removed. Floor cleaned. New tank in. Fill it up. Spark it on. Wow! HOT water again! He also took away the old hot water tank for disposal. I GREATLY APPRECIATE CHAD FOR MAKING THIS HAPPEN! THANK YOU! YOU ARE THE MAN!

They came out and estimated the job for a quality water heater replacement. Price was good for the quality and speed of service. Installed heater with no complications and were friendly and professional in their demeanor. Nice clean installation and great explanation of water heater controls and function. This is the fourth time we have used One Way Plumbing. We have been satisfied every time.

Arrived after scheduled appointment time, but did call to advise. Arrived, surveyed the work location, we discussed desired work, developed materials required, went to get supplies, returned promptly and performed the work. Workman noticed a broken handle on my outside faucet and replaced it for no additional cost. Great job! Very pleased!

I liked the fact that they called to set un an appointment. He called to let us know he was going to be late. He was very courteous. He got in and done the job well. Their price was comparable Home Depot and Lowes.

Not much to tell. Service man was polite.

They responded same day I called. They were there at the time they said they would be.

Overall they the service was done very professionally. The only complaint I have with this company is that they were late for both visits. The first visit they were a couple of hours late. The second visit they were about 45 minutes late. Luckily I was able to work from home on the service days so it was not a big issue.

The installation went very smoothly as noted above. Since our heater was over 20 years old and had blown out a few times during high winds, we decided to replace it before it failed. A comparable installation by Home Depot would have been around $1,000 or more. The Bradford White brand which only is sold through plumbers has a good rating on the internet. Some of the Home Depot models appear to have issues according to the ratings on the Home Depot site. The Bradford White only has a 6 year warranty while the more expensive Whirlpool models sold by Home Depot have up to a 12 year warranty. According to Gary, warranties are not much value after the first year because of pro-rating. Also, you pay more for the longer warranties but don't necessarily get a better water heater. I did not get any additional estimates besides Home Depot. My neighbor had a new heater put in a few years ago and paid around $800 so the estimate appeared reasonable. Also One-Way has a good rating under Plumbing on Angie's List and our experience with them was the same.

Prompt service and well done. However, this was a very small job and we paid the minimum charge, so it is not a thorough test of the company.

Gary Don arrived EARLY, by thirty minutes. Great idea! He analyzed the problem, pulled the faucet apart and saw what needed repair. He went to get the proper o-rings, which he did not have, returned, installed, cleaned up and was gone in a little more than an hour. Most of the time was in getting the parts. He was cordial, polite and made good conversation. Job well done.

I called him and he was able to walk me through how to fix it over the phone and he did it completely free. He is very professional. I would recommend him to anyone.

He was upstairs for thirty minutes and came down and told us that he knew what the problem was. He said that the liner of the shower, for some reason was not holding the water inside the shower. He said that the water was hitting the liner and was rolling down to the bottom part of the outside shower curtain. It was hitting the sealed ceiling that meets the tub and that’s where the water was coming from. He said that he would trade out shower liners and get me a different one and some splash guard thing. It had to be kept at the corner of the shower and the water would hit the splash guard and would run back into the tub. We got a different shower liner and it fixed the problem. He didn’t charge me anything as he said that he had not done anything and it was just a service call. He gave me his number and told us to keep that and give them a call when needed. I called them in the morning and they came in after lunch the same day. I would use them in the future.

They did not perform any services because we had an immediate problem.

All around fantastic job we are very pleased. They made it look as nice as it could look on the inside and the inside looks very compatiable to what's there.

The plumber arrived clean and polite. He held a good conversation and explained what he was doing and why it was done that way. I had a drain problem with a tub that required the drain be replaced. From start to finish, the time was roughly 1 hour and during that period he did a great job of communicating with me about what was going on. I am very pleased with the service and with the professionalism of the company.I marked down to a 'B' on punctuality but it was more of a miscommunication. The plumber was given my work phone number, and I had already left to be home. he did call, and i missed that call. still he was here within 30 min of the scheduled appointment.

They have done excellent job and worked very hard.

These guys were great. The return call and response time were exellent and Gary Don was fast to diagnose the problem and fix the leak. I could not be more pleased with the job done. I have no problem using them again and referring them to others.

Work was performed quickly, and for below their quoted amount. Plumber was friendly, courteous and professional. They even did additional work I didn't think of until they were already on the job. Plumber saved me some money by using the connectors that came on the new sink I provided, and also identified a seeping seal on our garbage disposal and tightend the connection at no additional charge. Overall I was very happy with the work, and plan to use their services again.

I had a water leak in the yard near the water meter that caused my water bill to go through the roof. I called One Way Plumbing after seeing good reviews on Angie's List. Gary came out and found the leak quickly. He repaired it with a minimum of disturbance to my lawn and soon had us back to normal (and in the 105 degree heat, bless his heart). Nice guy, very pleasant to deal with. I will definitely use them again!

I couldn't be happier with the experience. Although it was 98 degrees out, Gary arrived with a smile on his face and acted like there was nothing he'd rather do than hang out outside and remove an old faucet that was affixed to the stucco. Not only did he replace the old faucet, he applied some concrete around it for cosmetic reasons. Then he replaced the drain in our guest bathroom sink, going to a supply store to get a finish that matched the faucet exactly. He was prompt, courteous, and very fair on the price. I plan to recommend them often!

Gary arrived on time, ready to work. He carefully examined the job and discussed what would be needed to properly repair the faucet. It needed a "T" as well, to complete the job. This job was very difficult because of the unorthodox positioning of the faucet relative to where it led inside. He went to his supplier to get a specific faucet (requested by me) after careful consultation. He worked hard, double-checked his work and cleaned the jobsite. The charges were very reasonable considering the complexity of this particular job. This was my second experience with "One Way." It seems to me the "One Way" they work is the right way. Another pleasant experience.
