Description of Work: Called to have water heater replaced. Was done within 24 hours. Excellent work and quickly done. Also installed a cutoff which originally was not there and allowed the Angies list $5.00 coupon without me asking for it. Great Job.

Description of Work: Plumber was unsure to what caused leak under toilet, and found it not to be the flange. Plumber replaced wax seal and reset toilet, the fee for this way under what orginal estimate to be. Great company and great staff. I will use them again and plan to give out to my neighbors and friends as well as my church One Way Plumbing information.

Description of Work: I had needed to have an outside line replaced. They were available the day that I wanted to schedule for, and showed up right on time. The price was just as quoted and even got a $5 dicount thru Angie's list. The serviceman was very knowledegbal and thorough, not to mention very professional. I was impressed and would definately use them again.

Description of Work: We used Angie's List, and called One Way to fix a leak under the kitchen sink. When I called, I reported that the leak appeared to be coming from the gasket at the top of the garbage disposal. Since I had a double sink, I could get by without using that side, and had a bucket under it just in case. I was told that it would be cheaper to replace the garbage disposal than to waste time trying to find the proper gasket. (My garbage disposal worked perfectly fine.) It was Tuesday, and we scheduled the call for 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. I was told the cost would be about $185.00 total. Then I called Wednesday morning to let them know that the ring around the drain on my sink was white, and the replacement ring should be white also. The repairman arrived at about 10:30 a.m. on Thursday after calling to let us know he would be late. He had the white ring, which he said would be an additional $50.00. The new disposal was 1/2 horsepower to replace mine which was 1 horsepower, but he assured me that it was a better one. He replaced the part, and ran water in both sinks to test his work. Water gushed into the cabinet under the sink. I ran for towels. It seems that when he repaired the drain on the left sink, the drain on the right sink sprung a leak, and would need new parts and more work. Although it never leaked before, he assured us that it would have broken at any moment. He did not have the parts, and would have to come back that evening. I noticed that he had taken the old disposal with him, so I called and left a message for him to please return the disposal that he had removed. Gary arrived around 6:30 p.m., and fixed the new leak. Our total bill came to $315.00 instead of the expected $185.00 (with the Angie's List coupon). Gary gave us a break on the labor. However, the extra expense on parts was unexpected, and the need for the extra repair stressful. We noticed that the white ring over the disposal spun freely, and I was worried that soil would collect under it. He went out to our garbage can, fished out the package he had thrown away, and found a seal that belonged under the ring. He pried the ring off, installed the seal, and it seems much better. He returned the old disposal to us, but we did not get the chrome stopper that came with the new disposal. I guess he felt that since we had the white one, he could keep the other, but I would have liked to have it as an extra. Gary was very congenial, and explained the process as he went. He was a very able plumber. We could not have repaired this ourselves.
